A young fawn hadn't took a bath or groomed himself since his arrival to the forest and both his odour and looks clearly expressed that. He had collected an impressive arsenal of twigs and leaves on his fur, especially his fluffy mane was a mess. There were tangles here and there but it didn't seem to concern the fawn. He wasn't aware of problems which his ungroomed fur could cause.
Jade-colored eyes observed a bug crawling on a fern. He didn't remove his gaze for a second as long as the bug kept moving. Once it stopped the fawn chomped both the fern leaf and the bug - ending up spitting everything out. Mouth wide open the fawn starred the wet mess beside his feet bit confused. The bug seemed confused too and in a panic it started crawling away in the grass. The light fawn took it as a challenge and started chomping the grass, trying to catch the bug.
Every once in a while the bug managed to escape from the fawn's eyes, resulting the fawn frolicking around trying to find his new friend - or a lunch, he wasn't sure about it either. Excited cries escaped from his mouth as he spotted the bug and continued his mission to catch it.
