*Sigh* I fell in the pond again and got all plain and brown. It hasn't been a particularly wonderful day. The forest was lonely.

This evening, I met an energetic little fawn. I believe she said her name was Zab...something. She was talking rather fast so I didn’t quite catch what she said. Anyway, she helped me to get my favorite colors back on after going through what must have been half the pelts in the Forest. Thank you little Zab, I hope to see you in the forest again soon.

Dear Tree,
Due to an accidental dunking I took in the pond about a week ago, I am no longer the color I'm supposed to be. Some kind soul did magic me a new pelt, but it's just not the same. Brown and swirly is alright, but I miss midnigth blue and gold stars. *Sigh*
On the up side, I was part of a dancing line last night. It was pretty funny. I'll have to see about posting a picture or 2 later.
I've also been trying out different antlers and masks. I haven't figured out which kinds I like best yet, but it's fun playing dress-up.

Once I get my favorite pelt again, I'm going to have to get some good ref pics of it so i can work on a character profile of myself. I have some fun ideas for a story, but none are very developed yet.

Hello Tree,
Today I turned green. The strangest things happen in this forest. I think I like my new look though. Someday, if I figure out how to take pictures, I'll have to put up one or two of what I look like. I suppose I could just draw them, but it would be easier with a referance. It's a bit hard to stare at myself in the pond and draw at the same time.
Eventually, I'm going to have to write something serious about who I am and how I ended up here. I should prabably also explain why I use a name other than my human nickname for my deer-self. I guess I can answer that second question now though. I'm called Namid as a deer because I prefer to use that one when I tell stories about myself and I use the name Drac when I'm just spouting nonsense (like I am now).
I had fun having magic thrown at me by some of the other deer. eventually, I need tp learn how to put their name symbols up so that maybe I can find them/they can find me later. That's all for now. I might do some artwork soon.

Today, I found a large tree and decided to put my thoughts on it. I've been wandering this forest for awhile, but I haven't really met many other deer. Oh sure, I've said hello and swapped magic with friendly folks passing by, but I haven't really made friends. I get confused easily, so I think I may have accidentaly irritated a few of the other forest dwellers. I hope not though.

Well, that's all for now. I'll come back later to leave more stuff on this tree. For now though, I'm off to find a good sleeping spot.
