You were a distraction. Nothing more. (important to the KH deer)

"You're stumbling into dangerous ground."
"He'd protect me from those shadows...if that's what you're talking of... he has once before he will again"
His head rolls, as if to laugh. golden eyes, like cold sparks of electricity.
"do you honestly think he would have any chance of fighting me? There is a reason I lead. And they follow."
The blue doe's ears flicked back, pressing against her head, like a bird's wings to its body.
"they wont let you hurt me either....not just roxas..but everyone else to"
His head tilted slowly, rippling, black and white.
"oh? they won't? I'm sure Saix will have no aversion to listening. Lexaeus, and even Demyx have proven themselves...helpful. mm, Luxord, and Xaldin. if I tell them you are to be kept away, do you really think they will disobey?"
her ears remained there, pinned against her skull as if sewn.
"Sai-sai?.....he'd...do that... demy...xaldy....." her gaze was cast downward, eyes soft, sad even.
"...but..I thought...."
He laughed, "what? that they cared about you? Saix is...most loyal. Demyx, that little facade of his is good, but he is serious when he needs to. They will listen if I speak"
"But they're all my friends...I don't believe you... they wouldn't harm me...They're my family...."
his eyes narrowed slowly. "how can you expect a creature without a heart to care whether you live or die?"
she paused, but only for a moment, trembling, cowering, before him.
"you guys do have hearts though...you've just lost them...it doesn't mean you don't remember how to use them....they're close....saix...he's...like my dad almost...he wouldn't kill me"
his head rolled, neck popping with the movement, lazy almost, and he scoffed.
I have seen Saix kill countless others, lost them? yes. but gone they are. I don't remember emotions. They would only make me weak. a father. if given a reason, the diviner would as soon turn his teeth upon you as protect you.
Or so he hoped. Saix would, listen, wouldn't he?
...wouldn't he?
tears threatened to spill from the doe's eyes, hidden behind her veil of blue hair. like a silk curtain.
"you don't know that...he wouldn't...not to me...he promised he'd keep me safe.... you're wrong....they wouldn't...axel, mar-mar...roxas sai...even miss larxene...they wont let me be hurt... just cause they don't have hearts doesn't mean i don't mean anything to them..."
The stag smiled slowly, like a crocodile about to pull a young antelope to its death. "oh? he did?" his tail flicked, "he has obeyed me for much longer than he has known you. as for Axel. that traitor, I wouldn't know, he's always been a bit of a problem" his eyes narrowed, "as for Roxas." he cut his words there, laughing softly, "well. We'll see"
The pale blue does aquamarine eyes looked to the massive stag the loomed. She couldn't believe what he was saying. the people she had come to love and admirer. The ones that had taught her almost everything she knew. how could he say they would kill her. the red creatures words echoed in her mind ' danger soon approaches' she looked to the nobody again. was this the danger she spoke of. The
supposed sign that the gods had been trying to send her. That her life might soon be at an end due to her feelings for another. She wondered, if this stag knew. Others did..perhaps it got back to him. She worried. What would happen to Roxas. What was going to happen to her "...I'm...I'm not afraid of you..." she murmured her tail sinking between her legs saying other wise. "...there's scarier things out there....I've face and befriended some...if not those that are under your command....then others... I'm not your normal little girl" she said her voice shook with fear. though she tried to sound threatening it wasn't working at all
His head rocked back, laughing, a cold horrible sound, nails over a chalkboard.
"maybe I should just teach you here and now, about why you need to watch yourself, girl" he took a step forward, large hooves sinking into the lush grass, crushing it.
Kill her? No. That would be far too simple.
But he would show her exactly what she had gotten herself into.
He struck out with his hooves, aiming for the small blue creature, the thrill of it all coursing through his veins, wonderful
Such a beautiful replacement for emotion, the pure unyielding thrill of adrenaline, more of an animal than any wild beast.
Even wild creatures feel.
Vivi braced her self for the impacts of his hooves he'd surely crush her she gave a shrill scream of pain as his sharp hooves kicked at her tearing holes in her pelt. she stood quickly but was slowed by the pain as she tried to move away from him. warm tears rolled down her face " R-Roxas...Help!...." she managed to squeak out. as if the young nobody could hear her.
Self control, Self control.
Why so cruel to her?
maybe, jealousy? but he couldn't feel jealous. An alpha wolf losing its pack, tore at the inside of his skull, urged him on.
Self control, Self control.
His legs trembled, body heaving gently with his laboured breathing now. He had not meant to go so far, but the rush of it all was like a drug.
"They don't need your distractions" he stated at long last.
Pathetic creature of darkness, unable to share. Such greed
a mixture of red and pale blues, and a small trembling body. her limbs outstretched and mangled one leg broken. so many cuts.
The black mask she wore to hide her human face has been flung from her.
her breathing uneven to to the soft sobs that came from the young girl.
Blue against red. her hair matted with her own blood, she did not utter a word her body simply shook.
She had only wished to help.
Nothing more.
He scoffed, gold eyes flickering over her mangled form.
"learn something from this." he turned, making his way back into the treeline. To the slow singing of the river.
No remorse, for he could not feel it.
He had been merciful.
She had been allowed to live.
For now.
She managed to heave her self from the ground her legs weak on not even able to be used. She collapsed to the ground, and picked her self back up managing to walk only a few feet forward before falling again. she was to battered. to broken to move she looked to her tree. the hiding place that she was so used to using. she'd at least make it there... yes she had to. she'd be safe there.
she worked up the strength to pick her self up from the forest floor. a trail of blood following her as she made her way into the hole at the bottom of the tree's trunk. collapsing onto the cool earth. Darkness surrounded her as her mind went blank.
and her vision black.
