{ A journal entry from Prague, contemplating the day's events. It gets more interesting towards
the end, since I putter out and don't feel like describing things as much. 8D if you don't want to
read through all of my crap. xD
I'd have done images, but I didn't catch any good ones today. :C}

With spindly, thin-framed legs the doe rose from the ground, grace apparent in her small stature
and frame, her figure sliding upward as she flew to full height, limbs going forward as her
tendons and muscles stretched, sliding down to rid herself of sleepiness. Shaking her head and
letting strands of her mane and hair fly, ears flopping and doe's antlers swinging, she takes a
step forward and enters the land of the living.

Not necessarily, though. The female had just been asleep, and
she glances back to view the spot where she had just been slumbering tirelessly. An
illuminated spot, with poppies and grain flowing with the gentle breeze, a depression next to the
log, and a warm spot still containing her scent, fur, and hoof prints show where the hind last
was. Lax today and not wanting to continue forward, but to just turn right around and continue
her black, dreamless sleep all day, but... It had not been all dreamless, had it?

Remembering those harsh images she had seen when she
had been at rest, the doe frowns, her full-deer face portraying the sadness she felt - brows
furrowed, muzzle wrinkled, and eyes glossed in a manner that seemed to give off utter
hopelessness.
But that was the past. Just another dream about her fawn. Just another dream about the blood
staining her hooves. Just another dream about that fateful night...

Once more shaking her skull to free her mind of ill thoughts
and wishes, Prague sets her feet in front of one another, setting off at a brisk trot away and
towards the sound of water. The crying idol fueled the pond, and she passes it on her way,
traveling down the river and keeping her eyes strictly off of those other deer present, observing
not them like usual, but rather the croaking of the frogs and the sway of the plants.

Heaving a sigh, she ignored the bridge - the manmade object
unsettled her. The ruins were fine, of course, she enjoyed lurking there. But it wouldn't hurt to
take the long way around. Other deer were there, Prague noticed, but none were those she
knew. Winding her way down the cliff and through the cattails, she lays at the water's edge.
Lapping some up and letting the rest wash over her perpetually wounded legs, she settles into
the mud to cool her. Ah, how her injuries burned when she woke in the morning, stiffness
dominated her body, and as she moved they opened up again. However, closing quickly, she
exhales, rising and chuckling at the doe-shaped impression she left in the earth.

Moving away, she spends the rest of the morning and part of
the afternoon wandering around. Prague meets several deer she knows, speaking with them all
and doing much nothing. After a length of time resting by herself under a willow tree, she
catches a scent rolling across the pond, Virgil. With a soft smile upon her face and a chuckle out
of her lips, she pads toward him, offering a slight bow and watching as he climbs a tree.
Mimicking his actions, she follows him up, as do many others. The large tree, with boughs and
arms twisted and gnarled, reaching over the pond intrigue Pra, and she sets her hooves in a
line to peer over. Casting a glance back at Vir, daring him to plant his antlers in her and send
her tumbling over, she looks down, tilting her head as she thinks.

How to get down is the question now, and what to do? She
cannot leap and fall into the water, but it's too high to do it upon the ground. Sighing, she jumps
with eyes closed, brown-tinged muzzle pointed towards the earth. Landing on her feet, she
stumbles forward and back, teetering off the cliff and bank of the pond, falling and sending dust
skittering into the air. She splashes down into the water, soaking her legs and face.

Quivering as wind bit into her wet fur, she drips moisture off,
long pelt saturated. Bellowing with laughter and humiliation, she shakes, trying to spray all
others around her before pawing her way back up the side of the bank and heading into a
deeper part of the forest, where more others were.

The rest of the afternoon passed quickly, frolicking with a
huge herd, playing tricks, and dancing in a line of over 18 deer. All in a good day's worth of fun,
hmm?
All was not finished, though, and she proceeded to capture Ephra, Virgil, and Baal { Closeups
for manips I'll get around to doing of all of them. }, racing across the forest with them to find
the right spot. Eventually ending up near the river, she curls up next to Baal and the idol,
sleeping.

But when she awoke, chaos had erupted. Antlers met antler,
bone upon bone, flesh upon flesh. Baal and Virgil were fighting, and Prague being Prague, she
races towards them. One of two reactions take place for her when a combat begins. Pra either
observe, chuckling lightly to myself in the shadows, or stands by her closest friend and bellow
her defiance and anger.

The latter occurred. She stands by Virgil's side, bellowing at
Sambreel and telling her and the other does to let them alone - they were doing nothing to help
the situation, only harming themselves upon the unrelenting bone of the stags. Pleading with
Virgil to stop, I try and try, but he ignores me, his thick-headed-ness keeping him from
realizing that he was losing. Stags turned against him and an even larger battle took place. I
raised my hooves and fought for his behalf, though I do find Baal to be a pleasant deer.
Couldn't see my friend be injured, no, no.

Deciding to flee, I wait for the rumble to settle, eventually
Virgil comes, wounded and limping. I sigh, and turn away, reclining against a tree and resting to
nurse my minor wounds as he passes by, settling somewhere else.

But they were not finished, were they? No, of course not.
Stags will be stags, and I follow as another fight ensues, less vicious than the last, resulting in
Vir fleeing as I had. Mad at him as I might be, for his stubbornness and inability to listen to
reason, I settle to face him, communicating my sorrow and telling him gently that I had told him
so. With no rage in his responses, I lay down next to him, helping his wounds to heal.

Ephra and others come, and we decide to rise, taking it easy
and meandering through the forest and taking a nature walk. Eventually ending up at the river,
I lay down, nodding and bowing in my departure, eventually beginning to sleep as tiredness
overcomes my mind...

I will be glad for the day of peace tomorrow.
But... It seems that I enjoy some of this action. The fores is quiet, and I don't like that. Makes
me stir-crazy, paranoid, and... I don't know what do do with myself. I will try to act positively
and interact, but my natural doe side may take over, and perhaps my actions won't quite be as
they normally are, and I will lurk in the shadows more, or perhaps I'll lean to the other way,
and become active and participating. Hmm.
Maybe only time will tell.
