It was said that there were some artifacts left of the old world in the Endless Forest. Those who lived in the Forest before the deer inhabited it. These things were not necessarily uncommon, but rather...buried in the dirt where the deer never bothered to dig.

Radio sat in the graveyard of the old Ruins. He watched the butterflies fluttering in the nearby flower patches, and observed the occasional deer run by. He wanted something today, he wanted to talk to someone. But the butterflies didn't speak to him, and those deer that ran by didn't stop long enough to say hello. He shifted just a bit, and began to close his eyes.

"Hello? Are you there?"

Radio opened his eyes, looking around. "zzzzzZZZ Did I just hear zomething? ZZZzzzzz", he asked, waiting for a response. Nothing at first, he settled and began to close his eyes again.

"Yes, hello there. Down here!"

The deer's ears perked, he now looked near the ground, where there just happened to be a small, odd patch of dirt that seemed out of place, just behind one of the tombstones. He reached out and began to dig a little, his hoof catching something. He pulled up, and a small golden locket on a chain emerged from the ground. He lifted it up to his face, tilting his head. "zzzzzZZZ Did you juzt...zpeak to me? ZZZzzzz", he asked.

The locket was heart-shaped, and opened. Inside was an image of a beautiful woman, and she was actually moving inside of the thing. She smiled to the deer and replied, "Yes, at long last someone found me! My name is Princess Genevieve, I am of the royal family who ruled this land so long ago."

Radio tilted his head the other way, "zzzzzZZZ Royal family? Do you mean...zomeone who lived in a caztle? ZZZzzz", he asked with curiosity.

"Why yes, there once was a wonderful castle very close to this spot. We were the most peaceful of people who owned this land. But alas...a witch came and cursed us, and I was imprisoned in this locket. I have been so lonely, and today is wonderful that I have finally been found. But I must ask you to help me be fully free.", she requested.

The deer lifted the locket up and hung it on his antlers, nodding, "zzzZZZ Yez, yez of courze. I am more than happy to help you, and I would love to know zo much about the Endlezz Forezt...where you lived before uz...ZZZzzz", he was very eager and curious to help the princess out.

The princess smiled, "Wonderful! It will be very easy to help me out, all you must do is take me to the place where the river begins. There was an old stone that the water flowed from, I hope it is still there...", she said.

Radio stood, and slowly started to walk in the direction of the Crying Idol. He knew where she was talking of, but was wondering what the purpose of going there was. "zzzZZZ I know the place...and I have zo many queztionz when you are free...ZZZzzz", he spoke as he took the locket to the Crying Idol.

Once there, the woman pointed to the top, "There, that is the one. Now there are two things you must do to free me. First, you must put the locket around Nicor...err...the...the idol.", she instructed. Radio heard the odd name mentioned, but didn't think anything of it. He tried his best to climb up the back part of the Crying Idol, and lowering his head, he slipped the locket onto the stone. It seemed to fit in place, the locket itself sitting between the crying eyes of the Idol.

"Good, good! Now, there's one last thing you must do. You will need to stand beneath the Idol, letting the water flow onto your body. Do this and the spell will be broken, and I will fall right onto your back!", the princess instructed.

"zzzZZZ az you wizh...ZZZzzz", Radio responded, and did as she said. He did not like being wet, so this part was uncomfortable for him, but if it would help the princess come out, he would manage a few moments of this. He fizzed a bit when the water rushed onto his back, twitching a bit.

But something odd happened here. The princess let out a loud cackle, and spoke, "You are a foolish one! Now I will be free to dominate and reclaim my land, and you will take my place in this locket!" Radio could not budge, as if invisible forces were holding him in the water. The princess began reciting odd words, using the name 'Nicor' again and again. The Crying Idol began to glow a bright green color, and Radio cried out in terror as he felt himself break apart into essence and become absorbed into the locket. At the same time, a new form emerged in the water, human...but very old and ragged. She laughed wildly, and stepping onto the land, she looked back at the locket. "Thank you, my pretty. You have freed the very witch that destroyed life in this land. I do hope you enjoy your stay in that wretched tomb!", the witch boasted, and taking a stick, she pulled the locket off the Idol and dropped it in the water. "May the demon Nicor claim you in his watery hold!"

The locket would flow with the river until it emptied into the Pond, sinking to the very bottom where it would be lost forever. All the while Radio was crying out, "zzzZZZ help me! Zomeone pleaze! Help me!! ZZZzzz" He was trapped on a barren plane of existence, an endless desert with howling winds and sandstorms, alone with one small window to the depths of the Pond.

My poor wittle Radio TwT Welp, that's what you get for being such a goody-goody XD
(which is kinda funny because I've been revising his character in offline RPs with a friend and we've made him much less trusting and gullible XDD I just haven't updated his bio yet. This could be a good prompt to do so XD)
