True that! Black is actually a very ... "universal" color, for the lack of a better word. And blue (especially the shinier/glowier tunes) has always been my favourite color... also, the fluffy tail. Mhhmm. xD

I have to admit, I paid great attention to let Aurora look more like a black doe with white spots for that very reason. |D I don't know, it just seems to suit her more to have a darker basic color rather than white... Black is so "deep", so to speak.

I think I overdone Kody's tail in his reference sheet though, it's a bit too big I think. People seem to think he's really fluffy when it's actually only his neck and tail that is |D

I think the movement of the tail in that picture looks pretty intense, though. Kinda "flowing". The technique you used there for the fur is awesome, too. I tried it myself with Aurora one time, but I find it really hard... it always seemed to be to big, too much, or scruffy...
