It's been a looooong time and I'm sad that I can't play the game on my current pc due to how out of date the game is... (the game just goes crazy and I have to force close it XD) ...I am really happy though that the devs are updating the game to run on current pcs!!

I actually did reinstall the game yesterday and got it to run! ...alt tabbing causes it to freak out however lol
Still hyped for the remaster of the game though because back when i'd play in 2014 there were a fair few people that'd play... yesterday I only came across maybe 5 people or so and all but one of them were asleep XD ...I'm hoping when the remaster goes public it might bring people back
I recommend you play the game
This is much more practical as it will allow you to check the map on the website to see who are the deers you're playing with.
Here's a link to Uitleger's Map (much better than the website's map).
Also, most of us tab out to do other activities while the game is still running, so being able to tab out without having to press ALT+TAB is much better and faster.
Some of us will not react unless you hit us up on Discord.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do NOT minimize the window or the game will crash. Unless you have the "running in background" box unchecked.
I'm surprised you only found 5 people in-game. Yesterday night, there were at least 30+ people online.
Then again, I live in France, so I don't know when are the peak hours for Australian players. But I can assure you, the game is way more active daily than that. X3
