Might I say
The days are passing
Quickly coming
And quickly disappearing
At the break of dawn
You open your eyes
The next second your closing them
Sleeping into the night
Do you give a passing thought
To this time
That flys so secretly fast
Creeping up behind you
With no warning
Please dear friends
Take time to reflect on this time
For it passed by
So fast
For one day your saying your first words
The next graduation day is upon you.
Cherish these times
Regret nothing
For one day you will look back
And wonder about these times.
We chose not our names For
For they were given to us by our parents
We had no say for at the time we could not talk
However it is not the name that makes us who we really are
Names are just titles to recognize one another
But the deeds we choose to do
Separate and make us truly who we are
We will carry it with us through out our journeys
And it will be marked in stone on our graves.
Some will remember it
But it remains in your families heart
Sometimes passed to generations
But its not the name so much as the person who brings it justice
Showing their true side so there is no confusion.
