Herru! I know I already posted a similar thread, but I'm bored and I have more ideas. xD Anyway, I know they may never read this but it's fun to imagine! So I have a ton of ideas that may make TEF a little better! I'm gonna make it all fancy and stuff :3




Growth Process:

Since it takes a month for your deer to become an adult, how come you don't see a change in your deer? Instead of logging onto TEF one day and you're suddenly a giant deer, why not gradually get larger? Maybe week one you look like a normal fawn, week two you'll be a little larger and have antler stubs, and week three you'll be a full grown deer? Wouldn't that be much better!


Shape Shifting:

Shape Shifting can be fun, but it's almost impossible to see your little critter! It'd be a lot nicer if you could zoom the camera in a little more so you can see the critter better. Also, why not have the actions apply to your new critter as well? Like dancing, nodding, bowing... Whatever. That'd be cool!


More Areas:

The areas in the game are fun. I enjoy visiting the ruins, pond, oak tree thing, twin gods... But there just isn't a whole lot of cool areas to visit. We should have more landmarks that are fun to hop on, like the ruins. A cave would be neat! Or maybe an abandoned log cabin? With some human things inside like an old rocking chair, or a stove or something. Even a rusty couch! Oooh, maybe an old tree house?


Antler Play:

It'd be cool to have an action where (if you have antlers and if you're near a deer with antlers) you could play with another deer and pretend fight. Like male deer use their antlers and tangle them with other antlers. That would be very interesting!



Mini Compass:

I don't know about you guys, but I tend to get lost a lot! It would be easy if there was a mini compass somewhere on the screen. So depending on which way your deer is facing, the N on the compass would be facing a different direction.




So yeah, those are my ideas! I'll add more when I think of some. Feel free to leave feedback. c:

The admins already have plans

The admins already have plans for the next phase, including new areas and sets.

However, they have also made it very clear that they want this to remain a peaceful and rather simple game. Many ideas have already been turned down during past expansions. Making suggestions in this form, also sadly, will go "unrelated" for a long time seeing as their grant for the next phase was declined. It takes money to make changes, and that is rare. The admins are busy with their other games. We are merely an experiment gone viral. There have been times we almost lost the forest completely, had it not been for us users donating.

I'll try to find the prior suggestion threads so you can see what's been accepted and what hasn't.

I love the Antler play, more areas and growth process ideas. I dunno about others but I'd kill to see fields in the game.

Hi, there's no need to keep making new threads, you could always just keep adding ideas to your original thread, it's just a suggestion Smiling
Also, it doesn't feel nice to see the ideas I shared in your other post listed here as your ideas >_> but anyways
I like the idea of antler play and growth process too. As Valeska said, the creators of the game have plans to add more things to it, we'll just have to be patient. Maybe we'll see some of these things later in the game Smiling

I'm on board with Evern's

I'm on board with Evern's idea on fields, though I do fear that some people might have some... unfortunate Bambi flashbacks :x Not saying it wouldn't be awesome though! Just a big ol' clearing where deer can chill out and soak up the rays would be cool 'u'.

Also yeah, the rainbow text is a little eye-bleeding. I can put up with it but I know a lot of other people who can't read rainbow text either because of colour blindess or it just hurts their eyes a lot, just a little something for later :').
