We have added day to night time, rain, snow and mist to the remake. This was a lot harder than expected. Read more on the dev log.

There's a day and night cycle being implemented in the remake?

Just as in the current game, time of day and weather are set manually by us. So not an automatic cycle but a point of connection between the deer and their makers.

It already looks so complete, especially when comparing it to the first couple videos posted. From a multi colored tile floor to a beautiful Forest, I'm so proud of the work you guys are doing- and I hope you feel proud too, look at how much progress you've made.

I do not know, if it is a propriate suggestion, but how about having puddles forming in the rain; and snow accumulating (at least a bit) with clouds of breath coming off deer mouth.. probably droplets and snowflakes flying along with running, like the dust usually does?

We have bubbles and candles in rain, but would it be cool to also have other minor changes for the atmosphere in the new version?

Probably even sounds of steps could be a bit different. Like a bit with a reverb during the foggy weather, splashes in rain, a bit dull sound in snow.. and stuff?

I might even help with that tho.
