Solemn vow

I stand before the audience
Violin in hand
A sigh escapes my lips
To cure my tremblinging hands
As I lift my violin
I make a solemn vow
To let my story flow
From these hands to these strings
And let this violin make my sad story known
I wont hold back
Ill give it my all
I close my eyes
As I begin
Surrendering myself to the music
The audience is silent
As they hear the melody of my song
My pain seeps through
It has a different edge
That not even a critic could criticise
I stay with the feeling
Persuing it
The only sound
Is the violin
And the beating of my pulsing heart
At the very end
I close out with a hauting sad note
To let them know that was only the beginning
Of my tale
The silence rings clear
For only a second
Then the audience erupts in applause
I hold back the tears as I bow
I smile because I was able to show my true emotion
All because I made a solemn vow
