Well I'd actually say that you're free to do what you want. You could do a biography for your deer for example. It's up to you.
I'm not sure what you mean by "identify". Do you mean how you can see your pictogram? ._."
(and don't worry about language... here are lots of people whose first language isn't english (including myself)
