Atlantic rose from his sleep, shaking his grey fur and stretching. He looked around and saw Jessi in the shadows. He quickly walked over to her, "Hello, there." He nuzzled her in a friendly greeting.
Atlantic sighs contently, then looks down at her. "Are you sure you are ok? Would you rather I go?" He asked, sightly worriedly, but with a comforting smile.
Atlantic tried to shrugg, then realises her antlers are stuck in his fur, "Oh.. darn it" With his teeth, he tries to gently tug away her antlers and untangle his winter pelt from them.
Atlantic isn't sure of her reply to his question but decides to stay anyway. He had an increasing fondness of the confused doe. "Nice day." He murmurs absently, gazing around.
Atlantic shrugged, "I suppose I do prefer the darker days too, they are much more exciting. It's always sunny." His ears flickered slightly as she spoke.
Atlantic glances at her, "I wish I could go back.." He shakes his head as though he shouldn't be saying it, "Didn't you have parents? I thought fawns did?"
"Oh.." Atlantic feels a pang of sympathy for the doe, "I didn't have any in the first place, although I suppose that I couldn't miss what I never had. I did have a sister though, she came here with me, Ocean."
Atlantic lays his head onto the ground, trying to direct his huge antlers away from Jessi. He tries not to smile when he realises how small the doe looks against him.
Atlantic suddenly jolted back, then, realising it was Jessi, he speaks quietly, "Shh, Jessi, it's ok. It's me, your safe." He tries to smile and nuzzles her comfortingly.
