This is the home of the Private RP between My character Yngve and Eiruleyki's character Nevé.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An unexpected phenomena had appeared within the forest, snow. It had begun for snow the other day and now the forest was covered in a fine blanket of white. Yngve had awoken that day to the sight of the first flakes, and had been happy to see them. He liked the snow, it was something that happened rarely, and it was always a beautiful sight to behold. So he had spent most of that day, and the next and not today watching this snow fall, until it would fall no more.

Today was the day the snow stopped and the forest began to once again regain its colors. The Elk Father had been watching the snow until it stopped, taking naps here and there. Once it had stopped, Yngve had began to slumber. He was regaining the sleep he had lost to keep himself from missing that rare event. His usual resting place abandoned for now, for it had became the home of two sleeping deer. This did not bother him in the least, he had the whole forest to make a resting place out of. So he now made his resting place out of the flower field nestled between the circle of trees. His massive stature made hiding in the flowers difficult, but the abundance of them and the mix of shadows and sunshine made his resting place an interesting one to see for some. Maybe he would be mistaken for an oddly hued and shaped log? Maybe he wouldn't be seen at all? That was yet to be seen, but certainly all this would make for the reasoning behind what was to happen next. (derp)

Over a span of about three

Over a span of about three days, Nevé found herself holed up near the Great Oak while snow steadily fell from the cloud-laden sky, blanketing the earth in a powdery, white substance. She certainly enjoyed the uncommon precipitation, but with everything layered in milky blankness, her vision was hindered almost to the point of 'blindness'. It created too much of a glare in the way she perceived things, and therefore kept her cooped up for a period of time. Today, though, warmth spread across the land, helping the process of melting the fallen snow. Sprigs of grass now popped through the frosty topping and trees had shed the chalky matter from their branches, hints of green and brown now visible everywhere. The albino doe was eager to stretch her legs now that she could tolerate the daylight, even though she was still having difficulties with seeing; at least her sight wasn't completely useless!

Rising from her curled up position, the hind extended either back leg in turn while flexing the muscles in sync with the movement, ending it all with a wide yawn. Blinking her reddish-tinted eyes a few times, Nevé decided on a random course of direction, allowing her feet to do the guiding. Not long had passed before she'd left the covering of the woodland, now entering a province of extensive openness. She could make out a few distinct colors, but even then she wasn't sure if they were being diluted by the remaining snow that contorted her eyesight.

She couldn't help but acknowledge that the sun's warm beams felt rather nice on her overly-sensitive skin, heating her to a comfortable- "Ahh!" Abruptly thrown out of her thoughts by the sensation of falling, the alabaster female squeezed her oculars tightly shut as she prepared for impact; the collision was rough, considering the size of the object she'd tripped on. "Umph!" she uttered as the wind was knocked from her, remaining frozen on the ground for a second. "Ugh," Nevé murmured as she shakily brought herself to her cloven hooves, adding, "I'm glad no one was around to see that... Darn stumps!"

Sleep was much needed, but it

Sleep was much needed, but it was halted, rather abruptly with a sharp, traveling pain against his side. What was this. Yngve was awoken then, ears would regain full working order before movement of the brute was allowed. He heard a voice hope that no one had seen what had just happened. So this one had tripped over him, mistaken him for a log. Well wasn't this surprising. Eyes would open to get a view of the tripped one, spotting a bright white pelted doe before him, regaining her composure. She was a pretty lass, and a unique one. A rare beauty, claimed by the albinism.

The Elk Father, or the 'stump' the doe tripped over, would get up then, his giant frame rumbling. Head would lift, to be craned toward the doe, and soon the elk beast was lurching forward, bringing himself to stand before her, whilst she was turned away from him. "Are you alright my dear?" He would ask, a gruff, masculine voice would echo towards the unknowing deer. Hopefully he wouldn't scare her with his sudden appearance.

[Nevé is super cute]

Halted in the middle of

Halted in the middle of recomposing herself, the white doe swallowed hard, a sudden lump in her throat making the process difficult. Slowly pivoting on unsteady limbs, she turned and faced the voice in which clearly was addressing her; Nevé could make out the figure of a large, deer-like animal standing before her who seemed to bear an impressive, albeit intimidating, rack of antlers.

"Er, um, yes..." she trailed off, so thoroughly embarrassed about the fall that she hadn't even seemed to put it all together about the 'stump' she'd tripped on until now. "Oh my goodness, that was you I stumbled over! I am so, so sorry, sir. I-I-I..." The albino hind couldn't seemed to form words for a split second, and after composing herself with a deep inhale, she lowered her head, closed her eyes, and whispered, "You have my deepest apologies. I honestly didn't see you." She was bracing for a tongue lashing, perhaps even a shooing with his tines, but it was justified in her mind; after all, she did disturb this stag of his peace, and possibly even hurt him! Oh no...

Once his voice was heard, he

Once his voice was heard, he watched the doe seize up, taken by fear of the unknown and sudden voice behind her. She slowly turned toward him, and laid eyes upon the massive maned elk. His appearance was intimidating yes, for he was probably big enough to squash her like a bug. Pardon the imagery. So he was used to the frightened reactions. Plus while he did command attention with his giant appearance, and unique one at that, Yngve was a silent beast. A quiet and solitary brute, and somehow is just there, without warning or notice. It is a creepy side of him which is completely unintentional.

The white doe's sweet voice escaped once more, an answer to his question, and nodded his head just a little, a pleased gesture. "That is good to hear." Soon after she realized it was him she tripped over, and she proceeded to apologize frantically. The Elk Father could only chuckle and shake his head, "No, No. It is no trouble Miss." he said, trying to reassure her. He was not at all upset about her tripping over him, nor was he upset about her waking him. He had slept long enough. So it was all good, and it would be all good either way. Brute had a rather high tolerance level. It took quite a lot to anger him.

"Well I accept your apologizes Miss, but it is no trouble. It happens, and while I would not like it to happen again, for I fear for your safety. . .or anyone's safety, should you trip over me." The Elk Father was one to put others before himself, it was a habit, but one he wasn't ashamed of really.

"My Name is Yngve." He would begin, pulling the topic to a more polite route for the moment, with and exchange in names, "And What might Your name be?" He would finish with, and patiently await the reply.

[Oh thank you too! :3]

Peeping open a single eye at

Peeping open a single eye at a time, having been prepared to be verbally scolded, Nevé slowly straightened her posture until she was completely upright, though still a little tense. With her reddish oculars slowly adjusting to the environs around her, she could better make out the large bull before her; he, like she'd previous determined, did have a rather large set of antlers, but there were also traits that stood out to her in this focus of vision that didn't before. His warm eyes, for example, and the way they contrasted brilliantly against his facial features. There was no doubt that this male was handsome, but the situation at hand didn't quite provide her the time to go about and study his well-formed musculature.

"Heh..." she half-laughed in a slightly forced manner, her large, satellite dish-like ears oscillating atop her finely-chiseled skull. "Well, I thoroughly appreciate that you accepted my apology - like I said, I really didn't see you. I, er... Lets just say I don't have the best eyesight." This time, a bit of a more natural-sounding titter escaped from her maw and, despite it being short lived, revealed that the albino doe was more at ease.

Lifting her cranium a tad higher at the request for her name, she gave a minuscule smile and responded in a hushed tone, "I'm Nevé - it's a pleasure to meet you, Yngve. Perhaps the terms in which we came across one another could have been better, but at least it gives us something to have a laugh about!" Yes, she was most certainly feeling comfortable around the male, which was strange because, for one, she'd just trampled on him, and secondly, he was a great deal larger than her. About twice her height, in fact.

[Mrah, I forgot that I couldn't edit my posts on others' threads. xD Sorry, hah.]

As he observed the white

As he observed the white doe's demeanor, he noticed that she was calming to the sight of him. This made him happy, fur he did not like to be the one that everyone feared, save for the small lot of brutes who had earned his warranting fear in them. Yngve, while he did have a large tolerance level, would not stand for the ones who recklessly charged about, boasting their skills, or meaning to cause harm. That right there was a bit of a weak spot. In all this he was happier to see those who do not need to fear him, or the kind souls that do not fear him. This lady before him was a kind soul, and he was happy to see that she was warming to him.

Forced laughter came from the lass, trying to glaze over bits of fear and embarrassment even. Then she would explain herself some more. The Elk Father would smile, a warm, forgiving smile to the albino as she told him that she appreciated him accepting her apology. When she told him about her poor eyesight, he frowned for a second, wondering then how that must be. His voice would betray him, as he said, "Poor eyesight? I can't imagine what that is like." In hushed tones even, but his voice sounded, and he realized that. Drawing his head back, and lowering his ears he would apologize, "I'm sorry. . .I hadn't meant to bring up your eyesight." It might have not been a touchy subject for her, but he had it in his mind that it might be, and felt ashamed really, for speaking about it.

To draw the attention from what he had said, he would ask for her name, first he would introduce himself. Then he heard the lady's answer, her voice more even with how at ease she was becoming around him. He smiled once more, letting his head be lowered, and chest follow suit, into a bow. He tended to be formal with that sort of thing. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, Nevé." He would say, then lift himself back up, then chuckle at the rest of her words. "Yes could have been better, but not nearly as fun." He would admit.

"So Nevé, where were you headed, the led you to be in such a rush? Or were you just out for a little run, I should say." He asked, curious now, but also trying to further their conversation. Ynve was enjoying the company, and enjoying Nevé's company even more so. She was beautiful, and also a kind lass. Funny too, and he liked that. [blah]

"Oh, I don't mind - there's

"Oh, I don't mind - there's not need to apologize," she stated, shrugging her narrow shoulders in a nonchalant manner. "When I was a fawn, of course I was a tad self conscious, but now I've come to terms with myself and realize there's no sense in wishing for change!" Nevé was optimistic about her handicapped sight, despite the fact it was a bit of a nuisance when she ended up tripping over everything - or everyone, for that matter. In attempt to reassure the bull that nothing ill was thought of him for his inquiry, she stepped forth a few steps and pressed her nose to his shoulder, holding the position for a few heartbeats before backing out of the gesture to look up at Yngve with a tender smile.

The doe, after this new-found acquaintance went down into his movement of salutations, followed in his example, lowering her feminine frame down on a single foreleg while the other stretched out, keeping still for a few moments before bringing herself back up onto all fours. "If that's what you consider fun, I'm sure I could summon a few more stumbles!" She laughed softly at her attempt - a poor one, at that - to make a joke.

"I was just taking advantage of this sunny day. I'm not too fond of the snow, or winter in general, so I thought that I would take a stroll after having been in hiding from all of the coldness for a few days," she replied, looking up at the handsome male with her head tilted slightly on its axis. "I can't help but guess you were enjoying the sun's presence as well before the incident a few minutes ago?"

Her story brought about some

Her story brought about some thing of pity in the beast. Of course she made it clear that she didn't mind anymore, and surely didn't need anyone to pity her. So he would drop whatever feelings of pity, or akin to pity. He would then focus on clearing his name for any wrong doing he may have done for asking such questions, only an action by the white lady warranted an abrupt halt to that endeavor, and brought about a startled expression. She had pressed her small nose into his shoulder, bringing the cold to that spot. He would arc his neck to bring his sight upon the doe, watching in stunned silence.

This gesture was oddly comforting, as if she meant to soothe a troubled mind with that fleeting touch, and the tender smile that came after she withdrew herself from him. That comforting gesture and the warm smile worked. It put away his worried suspicions and eventually soothed his startled expression into a warm and thankful smile. He was indeed thankful and it even was voiced in a soft utterance of, "Thank you..."

After a moment to bathe in the comforting moment shared, a solemn beast returned and he assumed a position of greeting, the bowed crown. Lass did the same, lowering her torso as he did. When he lifted himself back up, he watched as she did the same, and responded to his words. The doe made a joke to his words of her stumbling being fun, and he found himself flustered, embarrassed almost by the stupidity in them. He should have chosen them more wisely! Alas that had not been the case, and apologies and explanations quickly flew from the mouth of the beast. "My apologies. I hadn't meant that, I meant to say it was an interested entrance. Not meant to prompt you to stumble every meeting or anything!" He blurted out in a rather uncharacteristic manner. Normally he was sure of his words, sure of his actions and unashamed of them. These words he found himself ashamed with. He hadn't meant to mean that her falling was fun! Yngve was trying to provide humor to his words. Of course in return she had commented on that and attempted a joke of her own, so he was sure she wasn't appalled at his words, but he couldn't help the apologies and the upset.

He would then continue with his questions, these ones in attempt to redirect attention from that blunder. He asked what she was doing and listened as she told him. He smiled, then answered her return with what he was doing, "I was taking advantage of the warmth of the sun, yes. Napping beneath it's comforting glow, before I was rewarded with the company of an beautiful lady, even with her rather interesting entrance." He smiled down upon the albino beauty, admiring the striking pelt she had, the way it shone in the sun's radiant light. His nap was interrupted, but he was not in anyway upset about that. The culprit was one he was enjoying the company of, to he was not paying any mind to how much he wanted to continue his nap.

[[Latelatelate Super Late! I am soooo sorry! Forgive me! I hope you don't mind. ;;]]
