The rain falls

"I remember you, you were very kind to me. Time and time again.
It was nice to see you again, you are so soft, and so fun to cuddle with.

It, was so sunny earlier, but it is raining now.

That is okay though. Because I like the rain. It sounds very pretty, and it cleans everything. Without the rain, the poppies would wilt and die, and that would make me very sad. Would it make you sad too?

You fell asleep laying beside me when it was warm, but now that it is raining, I will make sure to keep you safe and dry.
