Still working on concepts for this guy... rather pleasured with this. The things floating behind his 'antlers' are little bubbles of light.
As far as his body goes, the spots, and stripes are a means of breaking up his form underwater, making it 'harder' to see him. He has a darker upper side and a lighter lower side to help with this as well. Almost like a Shark you could say.
