History
` Once existed purely as an alternate personality of a girl named Lara that developed as a result of bullying at her high school. Lara was sweet, sensitive, and kind, but certain triggers - such as getting very angry or deeply upset {usually any extreme of a negative emotion} - would switch her to the personality referred to as Sombra.
` Lara's parents began to notice and incorrectly suspected demonic activity. Their fear drove them to attempt to kill Sombra, even though it meant sacrificing their daughter. The immense flood of negative emotion while Sombra was switched on was overcome by the terror of inner Lara, purging Sombra from her mind and freeing Lara of her uncontrolled alternate personality.
`Sombra did not cease to exist, however. The intensity of Lara's emotions that would shift her identity were so great that Sombra became a separate entity. Once split from Lara, she lingered as an intangible, invisible, but intelligent entity. Her negative energy caused poltergeist-like happenings to occur at will whenever she was present {such as objects moving around on their own, furniture shifting, pictures flying off walls}.
` Sombra's existence was no longer tied to that human realm, and so she traveled through different worlds. Depending on the world, she had to either take over the consciousness of an existing individual to have a body or she could appear however she wanted. Has lived as both human and animal. Upon entering TEF, she has taken the form of a deer-like creature to fit in a little better.
