Thank you Jinxyness! Ah well the basics are that you need to keep your light source in mind when thinking about where highlights and shadows are going to fall. Then you can complicate matters by thinking about reflected light as well. And reflected, reflected light. That’s where things can start to get muddy for me and I don’t claim to be an expert by any means.
