Donnovan nodded in understanding,recalling how Angel had ignored Nix earlier.
"Heh,I understand.When it comes to understanding ladies i'm at sea." He replied,letting out a chuckle."Well,i'll look forward to that sometime,Nix.I gotta go cool down at De Drinkplaats now.It's more private than the Pond."
The Desperado stepped forward to gently nudge his thorny antlers against the other bulls own; his way of greeting or departing.As Donnovan began trotting away,he looked back at Nix with a serious gaze.
"You hold that doe close now,she's something special."
And with that,the steer dissapeared into the birch.
The bull nodded as Don had to go, nudging his antlers back at the other bull's. he watched as the male trailed away, his ears perking when he stopped. Keep her close. But before Nix could respond he had already disappeared into the birch. So he only whispered to himself, a smile on his face. "Was planning on it."

Shaking her head the doe doesn't believe him. "Nope, I don't believe it Mister!" Is all she mutters. Yet still happy that the male hadn't giving up she smiles happily nuzzling his chest.
The bull chuckled as she nuzzled him, him in return giving her a reassuring squeeze from his front leg that was still wrapped around her. "I suppose I'll have to find some way to make you believe what I say, hm?" He smiled, getting slightly irritated by the mask shielding his face but didn't feel the urge to take it off. He reached his head down and gave a lick at the doe's head. "My dear, don't you ever worry about what I think about you, you will always be held so dearly close to me." But before he would allow the doe to reject, he reached down and nuzzled the doe closer to his chest, chuckling as he did so. He always was selfish with her cuddles.

Oh healll no... Nix is so not corny... NOPE.
Instead of her cheeks turning vibrantly pink. The doe's whole face, from her neck to her ears turn a fleshly pink shade. Unable to move herself she tries to stay composed. Thinking of ways to hide her obvious happiness from the male. "Why...why would I care what yo..you think of me." subconsciously and stubbornly she states. "You're to important for me to do that." she mutters slightly to her self hoping no one heard it. Keeping her muscles calm the doe still tries her best to hide the expression that was so clearly painted on her slender rosey face.

The bull's eyes squinted underneath his mask as he thought he heard what the doe said. He lifted his head to see the doe's pinky face. He chuckled and gave her another lick at her cheek. "Dear Angel," he spoke, hugging her close to him, "Did I just hear you say I was important to you?" Nix asked, slightly mocking a surprised tone.
He turned his head as far away from the doe's body as he could and began bobbing his head up and down quickly, causing his mask to drop with a thud onto te ground. He turned back to the doe, now exposing his maskless elk face. "Much better." he muttered to himself, looking down at the doe, the grin on his face now exposed.

Her face stayed the peachy color it was. Yet if you looked close enough it seemed to have brightened at every word the male said. Slowly trying to calm her heart, every breath she took seemed to be her last. Breathtakingly she tries to respond. Inhaling deeply "May...Maybe I did." Quietly she speaks "It should be a honor for you to hear me utter such nonsense.." Angel barks stubbornly, trying to change the subject the best she could. Almost memorized by the males face she feels a sudden chill roll down her slender spine. Making it's way up her neck, the doe lays her face down. Trying to slow down or even stop it's movement.
The bull couldn't help but laugh at the doe, a feeling of giddiness over coming him. He reached down and began licking at her head. He couldn't help but nuzzle into the doe's neck, burying his head into her fur for a change. "An honor?" he repeated, "Trust me, it is to hear you say such words." He mumbled into her fur. As his face was still buried into her, he couldn't help but begin nibbling her again, his ears perked still feeling giddy. He raised his head to see the doe's reaction. "Anymore 'nonsense' you want to tell me?" he asked, reaching forward and nudging his muzzle into the doe's neck.

Denali stretched his limbs and threw back his little head in a yawn. The newborn fawn was still very fragile, and needed much sleep. He had just awoken from one of his many naps throughout his day. He knew when he needed to settle down to sleep immediately. His hooves would start to ache, and his eyelids would droop, and he would perk up his too-big floppy ears to listen for a companion. Someone to give him warmth and help him sleep and tuck Denali away to dream of friends and laughter and games aplenty.
His eyes widened as he looked for Nix, the next intended victim of his snuggles.
Oh, I don't mind at all <3 Nix loves the little fawn as well, and yup that's him!

The black and white stag looked down at the fawn adoringly, smiling down at the little fawn. "Hello, little one." he spoke softly to the fawn, reaching down and giving him a small, soft nuzzle with his muzzle. "You look tired, come lay down." The bull beckoned, sitting onto the ground and looking down at the spot next to him.
Wait I just realized something. He doesn't actually talk yet... ;o; hmm.

Denali returned Nix's smile, his eyes lighting up as he pranced over to where the stag gestured to. He gave a little bleat in response to his voice, and folded his legs underneath him. Denali curled up close to Nix, taking comfort in his presence, and thinking over his words.
"Ababaha?"
The little fawn was trying to speak to Nix.

Nix gladly welcomed the fawn to cuddle up on him, giving a smile underneath his skull as it bleated. The bull couldn't help but chuckling as the fawn tried speaking, reaching forward and giving a lick at the fawn's head. "Oh really?" The bull asked, as if he understood the fawn's jibber-jabber. "Well, little fawn, my name is Nix." Nix spoke softly. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
Denali nodded vigorously.
He understood some of what Nix said, but not all of it. The fawn flagged his furry tail in frustration, trying to put his thoughts into words, trying to get words out. He was an intelligent youngster, but his age brought him limitations, boundaries.
"N-Nifff!" Denali said; looking quite proud of himself.
The bull's eyes shined with approval as the fawn tried pronouncing his name. "Very good!" He praised, his eyes underneath his mask showing his smile.
In all of his lives he had always taken a liking to young ones, and this one was no different. He adored this stage in life the most of all the little creatures were just getting their bearings around them, beginning to understand the world. "You are very close to talking, aren't you?" He asked, talking to let allow the fawn to hear more words and to know he was acknowledging him.
The fawn once again nodded, however he did not understand the question. Denali could at leat recognize the intonation of a question, the difference in how it sounded.
The little hart's own eyes shone as he was praised, and he tried once more to speak.
"Yeh, ma da," he told Nix proudly.
"Very good, little one." he praised once more at the little fawn's words. He was curious of how old the fawn was, surely no more than a couple of weeks? Though he knew he would never be able to ask the fawn such a complicated question for it's age.. He simply leaned back and watched the fawn admiringly through the holes in his mask. "You were tired, yes? Rest, rest, little one, I shall watch over you as you sleep." Nix cooed softly to the fawn, trying his best to lull the fawn.
*Nuzzles briefly after her greetings, fluffy tail wiggling happily. Her voice is soft as to not awaken Angel.*
"It's so good to see you and Angel again! I've missed you both."
The bull smiled at the doe, giving a slight nod in return.
"Ah, yes, both Angel and I haven't seen you in a while." he whispered in return. "It is good to see you again, I hope everything was all right with you while we didn't see you?" he asked courteously.
*She nods, keeping her whisper* "Yes. I just had to travel around for a bit. Things were getting a bit stressful for me. I'm okay now though." *She still feels a bit sad about something but does a good job at hiding it. Otherwise she feels calm and content, and it shows on her features.* "How have the two of you been?"
Nix nodded as he listened to Val's explanation, understanding that some deer had to get away for awhile. His eyes give a spark at the asking of him and Angel.
"Ah, we have been good. In fact, we are now mated to each other." he speaks, a smile broad on his face remembering that day. The smile was easy identified on him due to his eyes squinting heavily underneath his mask.
*Her ears perk up as she smiled as well*
"That's fantastic! Many congratulations to the both of you!"
*Her attention is temporarily diverted to a stag crossing to the water. She feels hurt rise in her but quickly reigns in the control and turns back to Nix*
"So are you thinking of the pitter patter of little hooves yet? Angel would make an awesome mother."
*She winks*
Nix feels the change in her energies, but doesn't focus much on it as Val changes the subject to fawns.
He chuckles embarrassingly and offers another smile. "I think I'll leave that up to Angel, of course I do love fawns." he chuckles again, thinking of his own little fawns running around the Forest busily mooing & spamming helpless deer.
*Giggles and sighs*
"I know what you mean. They sure are cute. I was a little terror when I was a fawn...and that wasn't all that long ago! Running circles around everyone, trying to make them dizzy."
*She chuckles again and looks around, seeing the buck gone now. She glances around at everything else.*
"Such a gorgeous day. I think I'm gonna freshen up a bit then have a walk around. Will you be around later?"

I do believe your deer and Angel is hanging around my doe, lol. I saw Angel and another mini looking at my doe more closely. Then I switched windows again and came back to find my doe standing, lol. I didn't make her stand, she was supposed to be sleeping. Anywho, a little busy to socialize right now but I hope to meet you a bit more ICly sometime....and Angel too of course!

Actually that was my doe, not Valeska. See we're sisters and sometimes I log into my account but it posts me as her, and the same the other way around.
It's alright. She's a good calming influence and I'm actually thinking about giving her healing abilities. I've been busy anyway, lol. Going to bed now. We'll play a bit tomorrow! <3 Hope Nix feels better soon!
Just a question since I'm still learning. When do you consider you "know" another deer? Calida likes Nix and Angel. She goes to them every chance she gets when her parents and uncle aren't around. How does one get to know a deer and know when to consider them a friend?
It all depends on how the player & character sees it. Nix doesn't really consider someone a friend until he really sees them regularly, and even though he may see your fawn regularly he may not consider her a friend because she's a fawn -- just in his opinions, he doesn't view a fawn as a friend, only as someone he may hold dear to his heart and will look out for.
And sometimes I'm sort of lazy on adding people to my bios, so even when one is seen regularly I may just forget to add them to the bio.
