Heart racing, he bolted towards Angel, not daring to make a sound. All that he could see when he closed his eyes were the ivory toned antlers of the stag. He curled up close to her, only now did his deceptive silence break. Whimpers and soft whines erupted from the little lion cub as he buried his head in her fur, his whole body trembling violently.
LOL I'd pay to see that whole scene play out. xD

He couldn't tell her who it was, no matter how hard he tried to form words he couldn't. So he just collapsed further, rubbing his head on her fur with his eyes tightly shut. The behavior wouldn't usually be too unusual, except now he seemed too involved in the small action for it to be normal. He had to occupy himself with something, and this was it. Almost like he was in shock, since he was more vulnerable taking his malnutrition into account.
Not willing to repeat her questions in case the cub hadn't heard it, the doe lays there. Usually she'd let any young-ling cry to it's hearts content with out saying a word about it. But the little cub seemed to have a rather large amount of her pity. So small and weak; almost reminding the doe her of own frail structure. "Shhh, it's going to be alright, whatever spooked you won't come near. Try to calm yourself a bit, you'll feel better once you do... I guarantee." Her voice gaining a hum, hopping some form of her words would get the cub to relax.

Not like you're hard to get along with, from what I've seen so far."
"Another reason why I stayed. I figured in a gathering this large, someone is bound to be friendly enough to make a new friend. I have to learn to be less antisocial than I used to be..." He mulls on in a hushed tone "And I am fond of the Oak tree. I can relate to the stories it tells. What do you mean it's humming? I have to stop at it more often, I've never heard it hum."
"Really? Antisocial, I would have never guessed." The doe gives a flick of her ears, turning them in the direction of the male. Figuring since she couldn't see him well, it be best to listen carefully. In case of any unusual stirs from him or anything nearby should be cause for concern. "You've never heard it? Well that's fairly odd. Perhaps it's just me, and my ears hearing lovely tones from that darn old tree. Have you ever spent the day just quietly listening to the tree and others around it? I'm sure if you did you'd hear its hum."
"I come to the tree, but I never hear humming." The young-looking male says as he stays still and hesitates to continue. After a moment, he does. "A week or so ago I came to the tree and sat there for a long while, and I listened and listened to it. I heard so much it had to tell. It answered a lot of my questions about this place." He says as he looks around and sniffs the air before smiling ever so slightly.
Her head seemed to tilt its self, at the mention of a tree talking to a deer. The practical side of her thought it was impossible and crazy to say such things. Though being here long enough; the thought of a tree talking to a deer wasn’t as far-fetched as she’d like to believe. ”Hmm, strange. I guess these ears are already beginning to hear things… And I have yet to bear my first child before I start speaking nonsense.” the sentence was ended with an abrupt chuckle, one she couldn’t hold in. Amused by her own tone, sounding so old to herself; yet not minding it as much as she should have the doe continues. ”And, what did the Old Oak tell you about this place hun?” She found that the position she was in didn’t suit her now much larger stomach, so she began to stir as softly as she could. Crossing the right front leg over the left front leg and leaning her back towards the ground; as she raised her stomach to the left of her. Feeling even more awkward then before, yet to stubborn to move again quiet yet.
He shakes his head and quiets himself, thinking he was foolish to have said such a thing now. 'This doe must think I have gone mad now.' He thinks to himself as he sighs and lays down his head. The only deer he has truly held a conversation with here and already he's darkened his appearance.
"Well?" The doe persist impatiently. "I'd love to hear what the old tree told you... trees and I have a rather quiet relationship. I sit near them, and they stay there with no movement… boring right?” She offers a warm laugh, in hopes of getting the male to talk once more.
"I... I guess that's my relationship with them too." He replies quietly, afraid to say the wrong thing again. He has encountered trees such as the Old Oak, especially in forest he was born in, but hasn't talked to one since then. Speaking to the Old Oak brings back dear memories to him.
"Hm, yet you can speak with them? Unlike me you're able to hold a conversation with the plants. I think that's pretty amazing...Odd but still quiet entertaining on its own."
XD We just woke up haha,yeah sadly we couldnt get any pumpkins to carve. There has been a horrible drought and only afew places got pumpkins which inturn were snatched up quickly,So we got there to late.. I was really looking forward to carving something so i could post it! Oh wells still got to eat candy LoL xD
Yay it's still foggy too,I almost stayed up 24hours trying to wait for something to happen,then it went foggy and i chased Velocity around when she/he was a default deer LoL it was hilarious.Leyawiin was hoping she didn't scare them! But then they waited for her to catch up when she fell behind! Haha it was awesome,she loves their deer/gods to death xD!! It was fun but then i got to tired to wait any longer and passed the flip out! Haha Then when we woke up we saw !Angel! We love us some angel! Then leyawiin noticed garin's picto behind where we slept and ofcourse took off after it,Gah she loves garin to death too,hasnt seen him in awhile sadly but then he vanished.
