Ahahaha, Nightmare has become

Ahahaha, Nightmare has become somewhat possessive over Herla, in a guardian kinda way. When he finds out about all this he's never going to let her out of his sight LOL!

XD Sorog might wanna avoid her for awhile at least if Nightmare is around. Who knows what that monster will do >_______>

I feel sorry for both of them D8 *gives them both epic hugs*

AHAHAHAHA NEW PAGE IS MINE >D

@Skitties ~ Awwr, thank you so much! ;; <3

@ Graveyard ~ Oh man...that's bad news for Sor, because he's extremely possessive of her as well. Dangerously so at this point. XD Mmf...he may avoid her for a few days anyway because of how guilty he feels. He may watch from a distance, but won't approach. Seeing her cower before him just broke his heart. Awwr, they do need lots of hugs after this! ;;

AHH CURSE YOU IT COULD'VE BEEN MINE! *shakefist* XD

MWAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA! I NINJA'D

MWAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA! I NINJA'D YOUR 6TH PAGE WHACHOO GONNA DO ABOUT IT >D

Haha, no worries on that. Nightmare's not possessive in the sense that he wants her as his own, he's more possessive of her because she's small and fragile and is a friend. He had that desire and push to protect her regardless of the cost. Which makes him outright dangerous <_<;;;; I can't imagine what would happen if Sorog came around and things went haywire XD Poor Herla would probably die of a heart attack ._.

@ Graveyard ~ YOU. YOU

@ Graveyard ~ YOU. YOU MONSTER. *sob* Ah, I see! That is good; she does need guards, after all. Sor wouldn't be afraid of Nightmare, but in his current state he wouldn't dream of pissing him off. >_O; Lol, right? I think she's been through enough for a while! XD

@ Skitties ~ Aww, really?! Thank you so much; that means a lot! ;; <3

LMAO! I am not a monster *innocent angel face* :3

XD Yeah I think on the list of things NOT to do with Nightmare is piss him off LMAO! Especially with dem jaws of his ._____. I don't see anything getting away in one piece if he got a hold of them with those chompers D8

Hahaha, so long as is keeps a distance I'm sure everything will be just fine. Nightmare doesn't outright do anything unless clearly provoked. Yeah, he'll be a bitch and get all D< GTFO but he won't go *RAWR ATTACK* unless Sorog pushed his buttons a little too much XD

Haha, I think Sorog will be fine. Though he might want to watch out, Nightmare may give him a bit of a nip if he doesn't want him around for too long XD He might tolerate Sorog's presence for a short time but I don't think he'll tolerate him for too long until things get better LOL

"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
Uruushou's picture

Mm...I don't think it matters

Mm...I don't think it matters much now, though, since no one will let him anywhere near Herla or Ciel. Understandably so, but all he wants to do is make peace. Poor, dumb bastard. I don't think he'd mind a nip from Nightmare; he knows he deserves it at this point, just like when he let Neath nibble on him. >_O

"I'm sorry, Sorog. But we can

"I'm sorry, Sorog. But we can not let you pass. Herla can't take the trauma.
Especially not after what Sianna did to her. Stay away. Please, I don't wish to fight you.
Just stay away. If she wants to reconcile she'll come to you on her own. Don't force us
to drive you off."
<:
Graveyard's picture

XD Nightmare's more tolerant

XD Nightmare's more tolerant I think when it comes to others approaching, he may be a big, grumpy and old bastard but he knows signs of things. He would more than likely just observe and if things got out of control he would then likely step in. That's his nature anymore, he's aggressive but not to the point where he will literally chase Sorog (Or anyone) off XD

<_< Neath nibbles D8 ACK!

You're right...but I fear that she'll never approach me. I just...I don't know what to do now. I'm so sorry...I wish I could take it all back..."

@ Graveyard ~ Ah, good to know! He sounds so awesome; I gotta meet him! c:
Graveyard's picture

If anything it could turn

If anything it could turn around like his little tiff with Darcy... XD Nightmare does have a weird way with himself. While he might not like Sorog at this very moment (Since he hurt Herla and such) it could turn around and he'll be overly possessive and protective of him after some event (In the case of Darcy it was when the fight ended with Jax) XD So you never know.

As much of a monster as I tend to make him out to be XD He's not a terrible one LOL Hopefully you can see him in the forest sometime :3

"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"

"I believe you, Sorog. I

"I believe you, Sorog. I really do... I wish I could lie and say she'll forgive you,
but I don't live in her head. I don't know her as well as the others. But there is one thing I do know:
Sianna terrifies her. She'll never accept you two together, not after what Sianna has done to her and Gehirn.
I don't know what else to say. I tried, Sorog, and I failed you. I'm sorry."

The young buck kept his

The young buck kept his distance from the older stag, but he none the less voiced his obvious displeasure. "You stay the hell away from her!" He stamped his foot down in a childish tantrum.
Uruushou's picture

@ Graveyard ~ Well...he never

@ Graveyard ~ Well...he never intended to hurt Herla. She rushed into the midst of a big fight and got stepped on; he was too jacked up to notice. =/ Mm, I'm sure that he's a big sweetie under all that fluffy fur! <3

@ Rav ~ Sorog squeezed his eyes shut as Casstiel spoke, his ears pulling back. Everything was a whirlwind, hitting him as once. Every waking moment, he felt like he'd collapse. Briefly, he wondered whether he should have given himself completely to Neath. His entire existence just led to heartbreak, and he didn't know how much longer he could stand it. "I...want to help Sianna change. She's...not what I thought she was at first. She is like me...she has problems, demons. I want to help her..." He opened his eyes and stared at Casstiel for a moment. "Failed me? No, Casstiel...I have failed you. I have failed all of you, everyone I know...and I will never forgive myself for that."

@ Faustt ~ Ciel's words stabbed at his heart more than anything in Sorog's life. The anger in the fawn's eyes, the terror...it made the stag want to just fade into nothing. To just disappear like nothing every happened. "Ciel...I would never hurt your mother," he replied in a choked voice, risking a step closer. "And I would never hurt you. I love you, Ciel...I love both of you. I am so sorry...about everything. I don't expect you to forgive me, but...please, allow me to make peace. It's all I ask..."
Graveyard's picture

LOL! Yes, under all that

LOL! Yes, under all that fluff he really is a big sweetheart. Really, he's more vengeful towards Sianna than anyone else XD Since she attacked Herla when she was defenseless, which is what's making Nightmare rage BADLY right now <_< haha

Ciel snorted at the stag's

Ciel snorted at the stag's first sentence, his brow furrowing in suppressed anger. "Don't spoon feed me that! It was because of what you did that she's laying in the birch, half comatose. I worry if she's even breathing sometimes!" He gritted his teeth as the older stag stepped closer, and Ciel matched it with a step back. His ears were back, muzzle wrinkled slightly, as he glared at the wounded stag. "I don't want to hear it Sorog!" He bellowed. "Momma is terrified of you now, I don't want you anywhere near her! If she wants to see you, she'll come to you. But as far as I'm concerned, you're not my father anymore!" With that, Ciel turned around and began to walk back towards the hill where Herla lay with Gehirn.
Uruushou's picture

(Aw, geez... Ciel, nooo~ ;__;

(Aw, geez... Ciel, nooo~ ;__; )

"I..." He wanted to say that he didn't do anything to Herla...it wasn't his fault she threw herself into the fray. Yes, it is! You started this whole mess, and now look where you are! "No..." he could only manage a small moan, his vision clouding as Ciel berated him. He had never seen the young deer so angry...so resentful.

"...you're not my father anymore!"

Whatever was left of Sorog's heart was destroyed with that venom-filled statement, smashed to pieces. The large stag fell to his knees heavily; he could not stand anymore. "Ciel, no...please!" he cried out feebly after the enraged buck, tears escaping his blurred eyed as he watched him leave without so much as a glance back. "Please...Ciel..." With a shudder, he collapsed onto his side, darkness creeping into the corners of his vision. As he lay there, he prayed for the Gods to take him away. Perhaps then, everything would be right again...

(Awww! That's so sad!

(Awww! That's so sad! ;-;)

Ciel glanced behind him as he heard the muffled thud of Sorog's heavy body hitting the forest floor. He looked so pitiful, but Ciel had none to offer him. "Don't give me those crocodile tears, Sorog. Save them for that wench you hang around now." The older stag had, by now, rolled onto his side. Turning, he plopped himself down with a huff where he stood. "Look, if I sit here, will you leave us alone?"
Uruushou's picture

Crocodile tears...he never in

Crocodile tears...he never in his life had those. In fact, he hadn't cried since he was a human, and even then it was years ago. Sorog had never felt so much pain in his life...moreso than any wound could ever bring. Ciel's voice reached him again, and Sorog's eyes slowly opened. Everything was a blur now, wavering and full of shadow, but he could make out the young buck's form as he sat. "G-Go back to your mother...keep her safe," he ground out in a low, strained voice. He couldn't force Ciel to stay, and Herla needed him. He needed to be strong now, to protect her...to do what Sorog had failed. "Keep her safe..."

*STALKS ON MSN* Nightmare

*STALKS ON MSN* Laughing out loud

Nightmare had been overlooking everything from the hill... watching as the beast of the pond would come around. He chased the thing off only to see the monster wandering down within the vicinity of the one stag that caused Herla so much pain. But he... was not the one that Nightmare was concerned with.

Moving out from his position near the group that had gathered to huddle around Herla he made his way down the hill carefully and slowly. Drawing closer to Sorog and the doe that was nestled close by him... a deep snort coming out of the monster as a couple puffs of smoke came from those nostrils, mouth and eyesockets, a clear sign that this monster was not at all calm. As he drew closer, Nightmare would look at the bleeding stag.

Unlike others who wanted to see Sorog destroyed for what he had done, Nightmare would tolerate him... give him the chance to redeem himself in Herla's eyes. But it was the doe that had nearly killed Herla that was the sight for the monsters vengance. His tail swayed behind him, as Nightmare would slowly stalk around the pair, head lowered down to make that massive size of his look all the more intimidating... a deep growl coming from those jaws as the beast stalked slowly around.

He was a natural predator, but unlike most would do... Nightmare would wait for his chances to kill something. Not in a manner like 'Neath or the vultures would wait for their prey to drop dead... no, he would wait until they were alone and afraid before pouncing. Circling more, the stag stopped and raised his head back up snorting out deeply "You look absolutely pathetic... but unlike most of the others who have come at you, I will not beat you into a damned bloody pulp... no... The stag paused and another wave of smoke wafted from his skull "I will give you a chance to... redeem yourself in Herla's eyes... but so help me, if I see your little friend here ever come near her again... I will not hesitate to rip her apart..." It was a warning, and a very clear one... one look at that skull of Nightmare's and it would be clear the damage such a monster could do to anyone "Do I make myself perfectly clear to you?"

"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
Uruushou's picture

Sorog had heard the heavy

Sorog had heard the heavy footfalls draw closer, and a strange scent graced his olfactories. With a grunt, the stag struggled to lift his head and crane his neck in the direction the sounds were coming from, and he stiffened at the sight before him. A massive creature lumbered towards him and Sianna, one that he had never seen before. As the beast stalked closer, Sorog curled more tightly around Sianna's sleeping form. He didn't dare get up for fear of angering the beast, and so he stayed by the doe's side, his ears pinned back behind his head anxiously.

He watched the beast closely, taking in all of its details with growing curiosity. It was unreal-looking...almost like something out of a nightmare. A monster in the closet, under the bed...waiting to eat you when you fell asleep. Sorog started as it began to speak, and flinched away from the smoke that billowed from its nostrils. His eyes narrowed, glaring up at the creature as it spoke, and he could not help but let out a low snarl.

"Why are you here threatening me? I don't even know who you are! I have talked with Sianna; she won't be bringing Herla any harm," he growled, feeling more furious than anything that the creature would approach him like this. "As for redeeming myself, I will let that be Herla's choice. No one lets me near her anyway, so what's the point?" he spat, refusing to address the fact that he understood Nightmare. He never liked being addressed in such a way, no matter the deer or beastie.
Graveyard's picture

A heavy snort came out of the

A heavy snort came out of the beast as he lifted his head up at the response given, hearing the growl... Nightmare lowered his head down and let out one of those deafening roars of his... almost like a scream, a scream of pain and agony though the monster himself was not harmed. Drawing his head back up he straightened, showing his full height as that attention turned to the sleeping doe "No matter how you speak to her I'm sure history will repeat itself... I'm sure if she could do it again, she would return to finish what she started."

Moving around, Nightmare swayed that tail of his behind him, the long shag of his body falling off due to some remaining shed he had on him. Despite how he appeared, Nightmare in his right mind... even now, held no aggression towards Sorog "And if I was truly threatening you... well, let's just leave it to the fact that you likely would not have a leg by now..." A deep chuckle came out of Nightmare before he shook his head and looked to Sorog as he spoke of leaving things up to Herla.

"I am always around Herla... if you ever see me near her you know I will not chase you off... I am not that cruel. Funny enough I almost know how you are feeling, holding a deep desire... a pit of love for something or someone. Only to see it slipping away from your grasp... and in my own amusement... you remind me of myself when I went mad so many years ago."

"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"

The roar shocked Sorog and

The roar shocked Sorog and forced him to jolt back, cowering slightly although he quickly straightened himself with a snarl. He wouldn't show weakness, not to this...thing. Indeed, history repeats itself...but who was to say when and why? Who was to say that Sianna would do such a thing again? Deep down, Sorog dreaded the truth, but he firmly believed that he could prevent her from harming Ciel and Herla again.

He narrowed his eyes once more at the comment on Sorog missing a leg, and he snorted as he stared defiantly up at Nightmare. No, this creature didn't frighten him. Not anymore. But to have such a beast relate to him...it was odd. Sorog wish he'd feel insulted, but rather he felt a strange stirring. "I remind myself of you?" he echoed almost monotonously, wanting to not believe such a claim. He then chuckled dryly. "Well, I suppose we have something in common despite our...differences.' He eyed Nightmare coolly before continuing, "What I don't understand is why you are not as quick to drive me off from ever approaching Herla. We don't even know each other. Why do you care if she and I make amends or not?"

Graveyard's picture

An amused snort came out of

An amused snort came out of the stag as he watched Sorog cowering... it was brief but it did bring a sense of pleasure to the monster that stood before the other stag. Standing where he was and staying perfectly still, with that head held high he listened to the questions asked... and a deep chuckle came out of Nightmare before he moved and walked around again, circling the two as he mused himself on his thoughts "A few years back, I too... shared a love for someone that I couldn't fully have... I had an enemy back then. I would fight and try to prove myself loyal to her, I would stay by her side and then... she died..." A heavy sigh escaped the beasts jaws as he stopped beside Sorog, staring up towards the hill that Herla had been resting "The one I loved and cared for destroy herself in the end... and I lost myself to a blind rage... I wasn't myself, hunted the one responsible for it. And then I too died... but unlike her, I cannot stay dead. I was reborn... not once but several times as I evolved into what you see here and now. I lost all emotion, everything that caused me harm in the past..."

Shaking his head Nightmare lowered that skull down beside Sorog as he snorted deeply "Why do you not drive you off? Because I see that there is always a second chance for anyone... I had many chances to make amends for what happened in my past life... you should not be denied your own chances to make things right. I may not know you, and I may never want to know you, but who am I to deny you from your right at a second chance?"

"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
Uruushou's picture

Sorog's narrowed eyes

Sorog's narrowed eyes followed Nightmare's every movement, and although he didn't seem to pose a threat the stag was still suspicious. To hear about his past, however, was strange. The creature made it sound as if he had been a human in his past life like Sorog was...and when Nightmare mentioned the love of his life dying, Sorog let out his breath and squeezed his eyes shut. He sometimes tried not to remember...the guilt would come back, the pain...so much pain. He would've ended his own life if they hadn't gotten to him first...

After a moment, Sorog shook the thoughts from his head and looked back up at the beast, looking him up and down as he took in Nightmare's words. He briefly wondered if he could ever be turned into the same type of creature...a being devoid of emotion, plagued by his past and all of the pain he caused. He drew back slightly as Nightmare leaned in, more out of annoyance than fear. "I have had plenty of chances," he replied in a low voice, casting his gaze off to the side. "I...don't deserve a second chance with Herla. How can I come back from what I did? Yesterday was...the pinnacle of madness for me. I didn't think about her safety, or Ciel's. I hurt those she cares about, and I have destroyed her trust. I would die happy if she were to ever accept my apology, and I am willing to accept that that is all that will ever become of us after this." His heart pained him to say such things, but he knew it was the truth. He had to move on, to let her move on. He had to do what was best for Herla, not for himself.
Graveyard's picture

A deep snort came out of the

A deep snort came out of the beast as he leaned in and then... those jaws hooked around one of Sorog's antlers... giving a hard tug on the stag. It wasn't by any means threatening, no... it was a means of a sharp tug to try and get the others mind into a normal state... well more normal that it might of been. Another hard tug came before Nightmare let go and gave a nip at Sorog's neck, his approach wasn't threatening, nor was it anything that would outright harm the stag. It was like a father scolding a child really.

Snorting deeply, Nightmare moved his head down and shoved that skull under Sorog's lifting his head up, in a sense making the other look over towards the hill where Herla was "And are you just going to give up? I too gave up... I let myself suffer and rot away... let my corpse burn in the sunlight just so I could feel better about myself. But in the end it wasn't right... it only hurt the ones I loved and cared for." A snarl formed on those jaws before Nightmare turned his attention to Sianna.

"This one is not worth your time or effort... she tried to kill Herla and for what? Vengence? Jealousy? Or to remove the competition for your love..." Another snarl, and Nightmare drew away snorting out deeply "Don't let yourself fall into a madness that you cannot escape... don't become me... Herla is understanding... she maybe fearful of you but over time there will always be that chance to apologize... to get close to her again. Don't become a monster... unless that is truly what you wish to become..."

"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
Uruushou's picture

The jaws hooking around his

The jaws hooking around his antlers, along with the nip to his neck, was completely sudden and unwelcomed, and Sorog snarled a warning and jerked away from the beast. He didn't care if the beast was being threatening or not: he hated when stags invaded his space. Hell, he couldn't even tolerate other deer touching him. "Don't touch me," he growled, although he could not stop Nightmare from forcing his head up; the creature was much too powerful. Sorog averted his eyes from the hill and remained silent for a moment as Nightmare barked at him.

"Sianna is...she is like me. Gods, if anyone can get through to her it would be me. I'm not proud that she acts violently towards them...I would have killed her months ago, and yet I didn't. I didn't understand why then, but I know why now. She needs someone like me...not unlike Herla. Herla has Gehirn, Casstiel...Darcy... She has stags who can take care of her, protect her. I...have failed her, and I'm ready to accept that. Sianna and I...we're kindred spirits." Sorog paused for a moment, his eyes turning to meet Nightmare's own. "I await the day that we may make amends...but I will not get that close to her again. She doesn't need me; she doesn't deserve me. I'm already a monster, and I can learn to either control it or to just let it grow. I'm ready to accept my fate."
Graveyard's picture

A deep snort came out of

A deep snort came out of Nightmare, and what was once a somewhat peaceful beast seemed to turn in a moment... growling out just slightly Nightmare shifted his body... and if there was one thing to fear, it was this. While Nightmare was a gentle giant for many, after so long... and after so many days of dealing with torment and the things caused to Herla it caused him to sometimes lose himself. Though, Nightmare was able to control it... to an extent.

The feathers on the back of that skull fluttered for a moment as that thick shag bristled on end... though after a few moments of listening to Sorog speaking... the blue monster shook his head violently and that fur and those feathers fell back down into place. Calm once again "You are a damned fool to give up on something..." Digging those long claws in the ground Nightmare opened that mouth of his again, backing up and then roaring out that scream of agony right near the poor stags ear, loud... and disturbingly chilling.

Backing up more, Nightmare snarled "If your little doe needs someone, she needs someone to knock her sense in. If that doe cared about you, she would never have attacked Herla to begin with. Never would have attempted to kill her! Herla is small, weak... fragile, she has many protectors but what good are they when they are not around!? Even ME! I couldn't protect her from someone like you! Or your little doe friend!" That fur started to bristle again on his back as Nightmare growled out deeply, clawing the ground and shaking his head vigorously, heavy breathing coming from the stag as he tried to control himself, to calm himself.

"I have failed so many in protecting them... I have failed the ones I call family, those I call friends... I could never make amends for being a damned failure when they were hurt because I was not there to protect them..." And really, for the first time... there was a sound of sorrow in that voice... Nightmare lowering his gaze and turning it to a side "Be a fool then... be a failure like me... and be a coward since you are too afraid to try and challenge your fate..."

"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
Uruushou's picture

The stag jerked back and

The stag jerked back and snarled in protest as Nightmare once more screeched directly into his ear. Not only was he annoyed, but he was becoming angry. "Yes, I am a fool! I've been a fool my whole fucking life; don't you think I know that?" he practically shouted, snorting in agitation. He was becoming more and more insulted that everyone seemed to object to his motives. Here he was, trying to reach out to someone who clearly needed help, and no one thought him to be noble. They all though him to be a fool, and he was already becoming sick of it. "Then I will be the one to knock sense into her!" he retorted. "Sianna is not like everyone else. She is not like Herla. She needs help, and someone to understand her. Well, I am like her, and I will try my fucking hardest to mend her." I've screwed up so much, all my life...I can't screw up with Sianna. I can't.

Sorog glowered at the ground as Nightmare prattled on, his jaw set. He wished he could feel sympathetic for the beast, but he couldn't. He was much too angry, upset and confused...and downright shattered. "I have done what I could. I protected her, kept her company...and what has it amounted to? This," he said quietly, and then exhaled slowly. "I can't take her back...she deserves better. And I hope, that when I am finally able to explain that to her, she will understand how much I care for her. I will always care for her."

He grit his teeth, his ears sliding back as he glared up at Nightmare. "Call me what you'd like; I won't deny that I am any of those things. I will do what I believe is right...and what is right for Herla." Sorog fell silent for a moment, and he closed his eyes. He was growing weary of talking to this stranger; he just wanted to sleep, to fade away into a dreamworld where everything was perfect. This forest...it truly was his Hell. "Just...go, please. Leave us be," he murmured in defeat as he rested his chin against Sianna's shoulder.

(Damn, Sianna is a heavy sleeper! Sticking out tongue)

Watched over the beaten stag.

Watched over the beaten stag. Her eyes ran over split flesh, open wounds. A heavy sigh would escape her before collapsing near him, tenderly she would nuzzle his side, making sure to avoid any lacerations or similar wounds.

He would rise from enemy to lover in a matter of hours. The way she found him... she knew it all too well and was unwilling to let him lay there torn apart alone. Strangely he accepted her presence; half the reason being his inability to move at the time, but he actually spoke with her, welcomed her presence and wise words. - Sianna was not all hostility. She had reasons for the way she acted like she did, it was not by some random petty event, no. - When in the presence of the right deer she appeared to be quite docile. Affectionate, caring, the doe to pick up a mess left behind. In this case Sorog left to rot alone while that little succubus went on about her ways. Sianna had caught her words last night, but of course, she only rolled her eyes and moved on, she did not even take the time to note the small does physical state.

Today Sianna had confessed going after Herla. All of Sorog's responses were unexpected, mind blowing. It felt like all recent events were mind blowing... She hadn't predicted, let alone slightly expected half of what had been happening to her this week. - She also confessed deep admiration, love even, something that she had put together herself; Herla had never provided... given the striped stag what she had in a matter of hours provided. The two connected on levels unimaginable. She thought Daneth and Voxraati had taken her heart, but for once she was able to converse, confess, and no matter what was said be at ease, her heart could release... pure ecstasy.

They were black sheep amongst a white flock. Misunderstood, longing.

"Sorog", she coo's his name softly giving a light nudge. She would flick and wrap her long, elegant tail plumes over his tattered and scarred body. Slowly, softly they would pull away only to reveal gashes and all once more. "I love you... my treasure, my confidant. When you are healed, I have plenty of activities for you", she'd say, a grin as promiscuous as the tone of her voice.
Graveyard's picture

A deep snort came out of

A deep snort came out of Nightmare and those feathers and fur flared again with his temper... but this time... the stag didn't say anything... turning he just moved off, a tree nearby being the victim of that anger. A sickening crunch coming from the things bark a that skull made contact before those jaws ripped and tore into the flesh of the tree, causing the bark to bleed sap. Another shrieking roar emitted from the beast as smoke bellowed from that mouth, calming... Nightmare just glanced over his shoulder... as though that were a warning to the stag.

His massive tail flicked before the beast just started to depart in the direction of the hill... leaving the tree to it's bleeding destruction where half the trunk had been ripped open as though it were nothing more than paper in his jaws. Tolerant as he was, the beast didn't see Sianna as anything more than what she thought Herla to be... a little leech feeding off males emotions and pain, only in it for her own personal pleasure.

Nightmare paused for a moment, one final glance back... before heading up the hill and leaving the sight of the two would be lovers.

( Oh man Sorog you really pushed a nerve there... haha that poor tree O_O )

Sorog didn't know what to

Sorog didn't know what to think anymore. He didn't know what to believe. He didn't even know who or what he was. All he knew was that for some reason, Sianna was the brightest light in his darkest hour. They had been enemies for so long, even before Sianna attacked Herla for the first time. He had wished to end her life; she was the first female he had ever savagely attacked with an intent to kill. Sorog thought that with her, every day would be a constant, fruitless battle...until Daneth came along. That lumbering lummox of a stag somehow managed to calm her down to the point of her attempting to reconcile with those she had wronged. She had attempted this with Sorog, and he denied her.

So why was he not denying her now? Why did he decide to forgive her while he was bleeding all over his rock? He wasn't delirious...in shock perhaps, or just mentally and physically exhausted to the point of seeking out any companionship. She came to him on her free will, offering comfort and an audience for him to vent his feelings. Sianna could have easily ended his life there, or at the very least mock him while he was defenseless. But no...she was different this time. Different, and yet...they were the same. They understood each other. They were both untameable beasts, but they quelled each others' more brutish desires. An odd thing, fate.

Of course, Sorog was still concerned about Sianna's continuous dislike of Herla. He feared for the little black doe's safety, and her well-being. Now that he's screwed up he probably wouldn't be able to see her for a while...but that was probably for the best. He needed to learn to let go of Herla, to move on. She didn't need a monster like him in her life. He would always care for her, no matter what. If she were to accept his apology for that nightmare of a day, for all of the pain that he caused, he would die happy. But for now, he'd leave her be. As much as it pained him, he would keep his distance from her. Someday, the burden will be gone. Someday...

A warm weight rested against him, and the wounded stag stirred slightly in his sleep with a soft groan. His dreams were confusing, distorted, frightening. He was beginning to flash back to his past life, remembering certain events. It turned his stomach, made him feel ill and ice-cold. But then, Sianna's voice reached him. Months ago, he would've spat in her direction and driven her against a tree or into the pond, but not that voice was welcomed and soothing. And...exciting. Even in his subconcious, Sorog registered her words and their implications, and a shiver coursed down his spine. The stag uttered another soft noise in his sleep, one of pleasure, and curled up tighter around the phoenix deer. He buried his muzzle into her nape and inhaled her scent, his mind and body numb. Numbness...yes, this felt nice. So nice... "Mm...Sianna..." he murmured huskily into her ear, pressing a little closer to her. So freeing, this closeness...

The attack on the tree was unexpected...although 'attack' would be a severe understatement. The tree was completely mauled as if it were a twig, its sap pouring down its bark in rivulets like sticky blood. Sorog flinched and stared at Nightmare with wide eyes, his heart pounding as the beast turned to look at him. He continued to stare after the creature as he made his way back to the hill, and when he flicked his eyes back to the annihilated tree he let out his breath. "Gods..." he mumbled to himself, tearing his eyes away from the oddly grisly sight after a moment and instead focused on the sleeping doe beside him. With a sigh, he sifted his muzzle through the fur upon for nape for a moment before resting his chin there, closing his eyes as he tried to concentrate on falling back asleep. However, that proved to be a more difficult task than he inititally perceived, as Nightmare's words played back in his mind. Why do you care...?

(Haha, isn't he always? XD Poor tree, indeed. What'd it ever do to you, Nightmare?! *thwaps his nose with a rolled-up newspaper* D< By the way, I don't think your invitation went through on MSN if you send one. Would you mind giving me your address so that I may try to add you?)

Ahahaha, what a way to end

Ahahaha, what a way to end that little interlude... XD At least Nightmare didn't turn on him <____<;;; but he knew better. As much as he wanted to, the tree was a better option LOL! Maybe it looked at him wrong <_<;;; you know how some of those trees have eyeballs!

ACK! I figured that might have happened, mine is ^^ Hopefully it works, my messenger has been mucking up quite a bit lately D|

Welp, look on the bright

Welp, look on the bright side: Nightmare knows how to make an interesting entrance, and exit! XD Haha, I'm glad he went for the tree then; Sorog doesn't need any more injuries right now! Pff, right? "Hey tree! Yeah, you! You lookin' at me?! *puts on brass knuckles*"

Eep, thank you! Yeah, MSN craps out on everyone it seems. No wonder I stopped using it for three years. e_e Alrighty, I'll see if I can add you! c:
Graveyard's picture

I actually have it working

I actually have it working very well on Trillian, I don't get NEARLY as many issues as I did back when I used it just by itself. Hopefully it works this time, for some odd reason my Trillian doesn't often pop when someone adds me XD So feel free to message me if you get me added haha.

Nightmare's got more control over himself than he used to, a few years back and he would have just mauled Sorog without a care in the world XD But he got older and wiser, knowing when the pick his fights and when the attack XD Sure, he might be pissed off to high hell... but that doesn't mean he'll go D< *BITES* on poor Sorog.

Nightmare, the king of Entrances and exits Laughing out loud

Oh yeah, I've heard only good

Oh yeah, I've heard only good things about Trillian. I might consider switching to that if MSN starts to cause my hair to fall out. XD Yeah, same for MSN for me; sometimes I get no notifications at all. Gah.

Welp...that's a relief! Sor certainly won't pick a fight with Nightmare; he'd be crazy to. Like, crazier than usual, lol. Nightmare is very interesting; talk about a gentle giant. But when he gets mad, look out, trees! ...hide yo kids, hide yo trees. /brick'd
Graveyard's picture

LMAO! Yeah I think that was

LMAO! Yeah I think that was the major reason I switched to Trillian that and I could have all my messengers all combined into 1 messenger so they all automatically sign on XD

LOOOOOOOL! Yes, Nightmare is a gentle giant until you pluck the wrong nerve... then it's basically stay out of his way or become a bulldozer's target XD Nightmare would more than likely stick around Sorog after sometime, much like he's doing with Darcy now. Despite a... complicated start, he is actually fairly forgiving (As he displayed here) and doesn't see bad in anyone until they show it to him XD Who knows, maybe Sorog and Nighter's will become Bro Buddies LOL!

Perhaps in some way Daneth

Perhaps in some way Daneth had brought out something different. She would always deny it... she had not changed nor would she for any stag, yet when there was newness to a bond, broken and then rekindled, or something fresh, she felt as though she and her partner were the only color in a world of black and white. Everything at a standstill, yet they moved through a timeless forest, only them for an eternity.

Spilt wine, a trail of red, always and forever, a memory and event which would never be forgotten. She would clean up the wreckage, repair it... through it would come something special, crafted with tender loving care.

Whatever had happened previously would slowly but surely become a distant memory. None of it mattered now, none of it. It was her and this stag, she'd walk into violent jaws, share the pain of being eaten alive if it meant she could remain eternally bonded in some way. A connection, they shared something in a way that no other could acquire or experience. - Blind luck or destiny... she did not care.

This life, starting anew... it felt so good, so damn good.

Being near him provided security and reassurance, among other unmentionable emotions, desires. She wondered... did Herla ever feel this way? Poor stag, cast away like an old toy while she sought out better constructed ones. Her loss, she could have never of tamed the beast like her. Sorog was her monster to manipulate, warp, and toy with now. Every inch of her would love him, she would be his anything and everything, but not without something in return; his mind, body, soul. It was hers for the taking.

Hearing him call her name tranquilized her. His warm breath and sensual words, so subduing... it was too easy. "Tell me that I am your everything", she whispers to him.

(Graveyard) Yay! That's good

(Graveyard)

Yay! That's good to know, because Sor needs more fraaanz. :B Nightmare, Sor and Darcy could totally have a guys' night out and just, like, brohoof every five seconds. XD

(Sianna)

He was blind...he always had been. Sorog should have known that his feelings for Sianna were unrealistic and were borne from distress and heartbreak. But to see her the way she was, so sympathetic and willing to love him...Gods, how could he turn her away? He had nothing else, and perhaps he could get through to her in the process. Now that he has seen this side of Sianna, he was determined to guide her and make things right. He was being foolish, but he refused to believe it. What did he have to lose, anyway? Nothing, for he had already lost everything. Everything...

Warmth...closeness...

"Mmm..." A soft, content groan brewed deep within his chest as she spoke to him. His eyes rolled within their sockets as he reached an almost ethereal sensation of being caught between sleep and conciousness. Rather than see her, he felt and heard her, and it made him burn. His belly pressed against her back like a solid wall, the stag tenderly nipped at her ear and sifted his muzzle along her neck. Her scent was intoxicating, and it made him shiver. "You're my everything, Sianna," he whispered against her ear again in a haze, his voice faraway yet also clear and deep. This was desire...something that he hadn't felt in so long...
