Smoothly put. Although I wonder about this one: "It is not supposed to flood the floor in the dreamroom up to the knees." The sentence seems stray out of context.
Thank you for bringing this up and for the translation. At this hour, made me reminisce and mull over some.

Yes, that sentence is

Yes, that sentence is definitely limping. I did not think that one through, plus being too proud for a dictionary, point to you. Maybe it an introductionary "as such" would have helped.

"As such [as a symbol of danger], it is not supposed to flood its dreamer's room [probably better since english doesn't have as strong of a habit of combining words] knee-high."

[e]: what is it with me and doubling words lately!

re aug4, after this last month I'm almost a bit at war with the forest about this. I've been retreating to less demanding but non-productive pastimes instead.

Technically, 'as such' helps.

Technically, 'as such' helps. Dividing the "dreamroom" has disrupted the flow [inevitably], and "up to the knees" still fits better.
It's a subjective comment. Still, this passage relies on the imagery for the descriptive purpose.

[./]: "Maybe it an introductionary.." why the Russian accent all of a sudden.

To specify my previous: it peels off social statuses and adaptations and brings the sense of 'equality' and 'trust' [not quite the right terms] up to the surface.

Also, Unplugged, do you think I could perhaps use the CSS on this page as a base for my own page's CSS? The way the comments are laid out are almost exactly what I've been struggling to code myself.

That was a very fascinating

That was a very fascinating read.
Some aspects of it aren't surprising. Mozart's mindstate from the beginning did read someone who wanted a bit of closeness, and it was a feeling I could all too often relate to. Back then it was in our nature to want to protect, so it seemed perfect. We reached out and believe it or not, Mozart did become very significant.
Although it might be, in your point of view, a regrettable way to "ask for attention", I think there are some rights to it. You did get more notice, and that lead to forming friendships.
I think it's safe to say that many members here use their deer as a punching bag when they're upset, don't worry.

You owe us absolutely nothing. It's been fun, and although we have a bit of distance between us now, I'm glad to know you. Glad to have known Mozart too. I'm sorry for drifting away, but it does happen. Virgil does it a lot too. He protects until he thinks the charge is ready to stand on their own, then he lets some distance. Same thing often goes with his children. I do wish you spoke to me at the time, though. But it's okay.
Unplugged's picture

thanks vee It's good to hear

thanks vee Smiling It's good to hear your/someone else's thoughts on this too. Only now that you've said it I notice that closeness was a prevalent "theme" throughout the whole time. Maybe you're right about the attention thing, but I don't like the attitude and the way I went about it at all. It's very dishonest. to me, at least. buuut I have to still make up my mind about it.
I think if I had kept IC and OOC better apart it would've made for interesting dynamics.

On why I originally elaborated ((though this actually belongs into the throwaway bin)). Maybe what I have to learn from this is to give my character ideas a bit more breathing space instead of attempting to make everything intertwined and logical from the very beginning. Perhaps I'm taking the wrong approaches, maybe I'm too focused on quality which is why I'm not getting anywhere, because I scrap ideas before they even get the chance to show any potential. And also maybe I'm too harsh about many characters, and too quick to judge.

Agreeing with Vee. That was very interesting. His development has made me think a bit on my own characters, so thank you for that. (:

He was a very interesting character, despite his origins (which I don't find to be necessarily a bad thing) and his reasons.

I think this is very good advice. ^^ I've tried it before (in my own variation) and the results are interesting. Sometimes, though, trying to make logical connections etc can lead to more development of the character. Sometimes not. Even a mix can help; a free-floating cloud of a character tethered by explanations.

It's interesting to have a view into his feelings, which I never knew about as well.

Thank you ocean! I love overthinking characters. Thinking loudly helps sometimes. Maybe it's important to note that you guys seem to be much less critical of Mozart than me. Hmmm
