Nightmare's going to be coming back from his emotional turmoil soon enough. And when he does you can expect some big changes with him. What those changes are will not be explained yet as I'm waiting for his recovery before I do anything of that sort so for now you can enjoy this lovely image.

His pelt might change, though I'm going to keep to the one he currently has. He'll still have the Peacock Antlers and Skull mask

But, if you can't see it... said mask is now painted. And there are some added markings to his body, but you can't see them due to his shag.

Haha, awesome. The new

Haha, awesome. The new additions to his design are pretty neat. The head and mask, in particular, look nice and sleek. It almost reminds me of one of Kilara's avians, (Shrike, if my memory serves me well), but I've always loved their design. Feather crests are a good deal of fun to look at as well as to draw. I might just have to draw him in Photoshop some time myself. We'll see. Anyway, nice work. ^^

I actually got the mask paint

I actually got the mask paint idea from one of the Avian's I had been looking at through a random pose search. I ADORE the Avian's so much, their colorations and markings are simply gorgeous and very inspirational for certain things. I thought the face/mask in particular looked very interesting and it just seems to suite Nightmare so very well.

I thought so. I've always loved Kilara's avians; actually tried drawing them a few times myself. The one that I had in mind had something of a frog's coloration, I believe, but a majority of them are based off of birds and marine life. Say, do you have a deviantART account?
