loathed and hated during his childhood, which involved abuse, being boarded up in a room with bricks and fed food and water through a hole in the bricks. parents were wealthy and sold land. eventually, when max escaped, he was fueled with rage and ended up slaughtering his mother and father with a mallet and chainsaw. the land is considered condemned since there are dead carcasses of animals scattered around and the bodies of his parents were never located. max continued to live on the farm.

max's rage had fueled him throughout his childhood to adulthood, but he soon became more docile and tame after solitude, making him more of a shy character than anything else. his interests stem from botany, agriculture and medicine. more so his obsession to become "normal" by any means. loneliness was not the best companion for a grown man like max.
