Affable — Pragmatic — Callous
Amun is from a world called Ahuiliztli; essentially a smaller, more tropical Earth with only a single continent called Tzapotl. It is dominated by a single species of equid (aka Ahuiliztli horses) whose build can best be compared to a Fjord, but with a characteristically large barrel. They're smart beans with advanced technology. However, Ahuiliztlian society is almost completely structured around entertainment.
That being said, Amun loves fun. He'll jump at any opportunity to prance around, and dancing is definitely one of his favorite pastimes. However, this pursuit of happiness has dulled his moral compass, as is the case with most of Ahuiliztlian natives. He runs a holographic menagerie in the observation precinct based on tagging creatures with specialized chips. The tag renders the host's immediate surroundings/nearby entities in real-time, like tv but a lot more complicated. Amun has no issue tagging sentient beings, let alone gaining their consent, as long as they'll attract more consumers.
Keeping the above in mind, longstanding friendships are arduous for Amun. His respect for individuals is dependent on his perception of them - if they might be popular at the zoo, Amun will go out of his way to avoid them in order to maintain a distant relationship. If someone doesn't interest him (at least physically) very much, he's more likely to approach, since he doesn't have to worry about breaking ethical barriers. (((:
p.s. He will not associate with characters in/formerly in his menagerie on his own accord.
