While the night was a welcome change in the weather, the fog was not. The air was heavy and damp and muffled the sounds around her, save for the occasional hoot or howl in the distance. It was unnerving, to say the least.

The nighttime was a welcome change of pace after the days of snow and rain. As always, it was Rheia's favourite time to be awake and about, though this time she was content to sit and enjoy the cool fresh air, bright moon and stars, and peaceful quiet that she was so fond of.

Though she was enjoying her meditation, Mandel Kharzo and Zinzarxe's company were all welcome.

-- Fled her home in search of a safe place to take refuge with a group of close friends, but became separated from the group on the way. Hasn't seen any of her friends since.

While she was happy to have met up with Kharzo again, the dragon was the same as ever and Rheia found her overbearing personality somewhat trying. In fact she was surprised to realize that without the company of the new friends she had made, Zinzarxe, Mandel and Krim, The Forest was actually rather lonely. That, in addition to the lack of fighting or other drama had left her feeling surprisingly restless.

On the bright side, she found Mandel later that day and hung out with him and some of his other friends at the Ruins. It was enjoyable, though there was one deer who didn't seem pleased with her presence there. She was fairly familiar with the feeling and didn't let it bother her.

She learned from Mandel that there had been some strange happenings in The Forest earlier in the day. Though she had missed most of it, she did get to see the small floating flame at the centre of the Ruins, and spent the rest of the day there.

Hasn't been up to much up until yesterday. Finally found one of her missing friends, the dragon named Kharzo, who was able to confirm that the rest of their friends were safe, though they didn't make it into The Forest.
They hung out at the Ruins for most of the day and caught up, and were joined by Krim and Zinzarxe a little later.

Spent most of the day in the shade at the playground with Mandel. Was too hot to do much else. In hindsight should have moved to a better location once he joined her; there wasn't much room for someone as tall as him. Oops.

Saw Mandel again with his group of friends and decided to introduce herself. Learned the big guy's name was Flyleaf but didn't manage to catch the other one's.
'I'll have to ask when I next see them.'

She enjoyed hanging out with the rowdy little group; in fact it reminded her a little of home. Of course, once that thought had crossed her mind the little gathering wasn't as fun. She bid them all farewell and wandered off to 'meditate' (or to mope).

Been keeping to herself recently. Wandered around late in the evening with the intent of finding out more about The Forest's 'key players', so to speak, assuming that there were.

As expected there was little information to be gained without speaking to others, and despite her curiosity she was unwilling to get herself involved in unnecessary drama if it could be helped.

Noticed Mandel nearby and set off to find him, but realized he was with a large group of others and decided to avoid it. He came over a little later with one other stranger, but she wasn't much in the mood to play around.

Hunted squirrels by the ruins with Zinzarxe, later stumbled upon a sleeping dragon. Salem? Smelled like him, at least. Hung around for a while out of curiosity, but left when nothing happened.

A quiet day, boring even. The Forest was relatively empty all day. Boredom wasn't necessarily a bad thing though. After all, being safe enough to feel bored is better than being afraid of everything around you.

Speaking of being afraid of everything, where in the world did Zinzarxe get to all day?

Spent most of the morning alone by the pond. With the weather heating up, swimming was looking like more and more fun! *-*

After a while it got too hot to lay in the sun, so Rheia headed into the more wooded area. She played around a logpile for a while with Zinzarxe. Gotta love the feeling of cool dirt on your back! Hung out there for a while, then noticed a massive wolf over by the ruins. Curious, she headed over in time to see a fight break out between the wolf (Romulus) and a demon (Virus). Was joined by a friendly deer, Mandel, and stuck around to watch the fight.

She considered stepping in when she noticed the demon going after a fawn (Maedoc), but was reluctant to do so without knowing both sides of the story.

Was approached by an odd stranger (Jagnes) while playing around with a group of fawns at the Playground.

'What a strange creature.' Wasn't sure how to respond at first, but became defensive when the newcomer got a little too pushy. After a while they seemed to get the message and backed off a bit, and Rheia returned to the fawns that were still hanging about.

More fighting. It never seems to end!
Was exploring the ruins when she was approached by a stranger. She chased it off with the help of Zinzarxe when it came too close for comfort.

Followed along with Zinzarxe to watch the fight with Rin and co. Is beginning to realize that The Forest isn't as safe of a haven as she had initially thought.

Was all caught up in her own thoughts and didn't realize how close the fight had gotten, oops. Was protected by one of the participants (Hydra) until Zinzarxe returned and they retreated to a safer spot.

Spent most of the day with Zinzarxe, nothing special to report there.

Later had a rather...enlightening conversation with Krim. Didn't have the heart to decline her invitation into the bird war, and wound up being enlisted.

The day started off fairly uneventful, Rheia relaxed for a while with Zinzarxe by the pond and was able to get some sleep. Later ran into Krimhelde and joined her.

Had been lounging about for a while a little ways off from the Crying Idol when her attention was drawn to the fight that had broken out across the stream. She watched the commotion until it had migrated further downstream toward the pond, but made no move to join the growing crowd of onlookers.

Tired. Slept very little, instead spent most of the night wandering the forest alone, trying to become more familiar with her surroundings. Is yet to locate the friend who came to the forest with her, but isn't overly worried.

Recognized a few deer she had met over the previous couple days, but couldn't remember any names and didn't take the time to find out.
