my major pet peeve

I don't want any body to be mad at me for saying this. but...

my major pet peeve is going to look at the pictures and seeing "off topic" drawings. I know that there is no rule saying that you can't post pictures none deer related. but still.

People, try deviantart. I find a lot of talented artists on this site are on deviantart.

I am not the boss here (obviously) but I still find it irritating. am I alone?

Well, you're kind-of sounded mean, so...that felt a little rude. It's not like they're spamming up Pictures with pictures of things other than deer, they're just putting 1 picture in there. :/ It's...called pictures. Just saying.

I under stand but is happend in another art site I was on. It took time but it happend. I didn't mean to sound mean, I don't know how to not sound polite on pet peeve topics.

btw I saw you in the forest just a few minuets ago. you were in your favorite place. I don't think you saw mne though.

Naw I don't think you were mean...it was probably as polite as you could have put a pet peeve XD

I can't say I agree 100%...I guess if you've been at another site that got flooded with off topic art it'd be a little more annoying, but since this is my first time as such a community, I am naive to the possiblity. DA is nice, but it's also a bit impersonal at times. Sometimes you jsut want to share your art directly with your friends or people you hope to be friends with...especially if they like your on-topic art already. I can understand that side of it, and since there arent really a whole lot of off topic peices posted I don't mind it.

I would however have to agree with you if the frequency started to pick up a bit >< But I don't think off topic art gets enough views on here cause too much damage. Hopefully it stays that way.

(^^; ) Might be my fault... I was the first off-topic art poster as far as I could see by back tracking through the old pictures... But it is just so much easier to post it on here as a picture then in a blog I find...

I've only done that with two off-topics though, but I guess I can stop ever doing that again... didn't think it would annoy people so badly...

(edit) I decided to delete them... all better on my part then (^^) don't want anyone peeved at me after all...

Yeah, I don't really have a problem with it, but I can see myself getting pissed if it gets to the point where more non-deer art is being posted than Endless Forest art...speaking of deer art, I'm sooo sorry yours is taking so long, but I fudged up the color so I'm forced to redo >_<
