I will only have... maybe 3 of Toxic's friends in this, it all depends on if they show interest Right now, Toxic's illness is clouding his mind and he thinks he's on death's bed when he's really not. But, when you're blinded with a fever and afraid you'd be a little lost in the mind as well. I might be tempted to allow others in, depending on my mood but for now I'll let this just be for friends rather than extras. Anyway, I'm sick myself... thus, the reason for Toxic's current illness.

The forest seemed quiet... the birds falling in Silence, everything seemed silent. Maybe it was because he had ran, and with his condition... it likely wasn't the best of things to do. Labored breathing was starting to catch up, a fit of harsh coughing and Toxic soon hit the ground hard in a heap as his legs collapsed from under him. Body quivering as those dull red eyes looked straight ahead from under the mask that he bore on his face. If it wasn't for the mask... anyone to approach would see that those once blue cheeks were flaring in a deadly red of their own, brighter than his own eyes.

His fur was heated, everything really... as the boiling infection in his injured leg was almost gone but... without it's bad side effects. He was out in the open, no shelter from any trees, not near anywhere where the normal deer would cross his path. And the night sky pelted deer felt helpless now... another series of coughs came out from his mouth, these harsher than most as he stayed laid out on the ground. To make matters worse, Toxic felt the cold drizzle of rain hitting his body. And now, he was thinking of things... his friends, his life... where it was going. Would he get better?

Truthfully, his health was good, but being out in the open rain wasn't going to make him better. Oh no, it was going to kill him... this cold, this illness whatever it was... it wouldn't only get worse. And Toxic didn't have the strength to get up to his feet to seek shelter anywhere. He was afraid to go to the Old Oak, he was afraid to go the The Playground... and slowly, those feathers were getting soaked, drooping to the ground as his body was shuddering harshly.

"I-I guess th-this is w-what I g-get for running." He muttered out, a coughed out chuckle escaping his lips as he stared blankly at the sky "T-t-the gods... y-you're pu-punishing me..." Another coughed out chuckle before his body convulsed in a spasm and he gained another coughing fit and slumped into the growing mud around him, those eyes dulling all the more "I-I gu-guess th-this is my fate... t-to die here..."

Leea and Leeo where playing

Leea and Leeo where playing in the puddle's the rain was making when they saw a black mass of fur and feather's laying in the mud thinking that someone had just melted they troted over to play with the fur and feather's but then it moved slightly 'epp! it moved Leelee you sure it's just fur and not some kind of monster?'
*chuckle's at his sister* 'there's no such thing's as monster's Leea so don't be silly but just in case it is you stay here and i'll go check it out' as leeo trot's of leea gose to hide behide a tree.

One ear had flicked up

One ear had flicked up hearing the voices... they did sound familiar and, despite how much it hurt he slowly lifted his head up in time to see Leea moving to hide behind a tree "L-Leea?" His voice was raspy, and really, it was almost hard to tell he had said the name before his head hit back down into the mud and he coughed out several more times. Getting up, he would have if his body wasn't just feeling so heavy right now.

leeo stop's dead when he see's the mass of feather's lift up and leea prick's her ear's at hearing her name called and thought that she new that voice but could not be sure as it sounded weak 't..toxic? i.is that you' she step's out from behinde the tree and started to walk toward the mass of fur stoping when she got to her brother 'who's toxic?' 'you know that stag i told you about we played togather when you where sleeping' 'ohh that stag but this can't be him he don't look any thing like the way you discribed him' *leeo sniff's the mass of fur* that is what it is smell's half dead so it can't be him come on let's go you don't wont to see some poor unknown deer die do you?' 'NO! it is him i heared him call my name it has to be him my poor poor friend what happened to you for you to look like this?' *nuzzle's the mass of feather's*

The words that seemed to

The words that seemed to seep from Leeon's mouth made Toxic frown, that's right... he hadn't met her brother except when he was in a silent sleep. When Leeon had sniffed the fur his body gave a soft shiver before the nuzzling soon came, and he tried to return it for Leea, just... his body wasn't working on anything at this point "I-Illness... s-scared, I... I ran... m-made it worse..." The words were broken, but he did manage to get a majority of what he wanted out before huffing out a breath in a series of coughs "L-Leg... gave out... c-can't get back u-up..."

leea gasp and a look of consern and worry came to her face 'ohh toxic you can't be out in the rain if your sick that's what i remeber someone telling me along time ago Leelee help me try to get toxic up and under a tree we can't leave him here he's bearly even warm and being wet won't help' []=#33ccff] ok we'll try to move him but i don't think well be able to[/] leeo get's on the other side of toxic and they both try there best to get him up but they just kept sliping in the mud 'oooofff this is not going to work we just not strong anothe'

Their efforts to help were enough to get Toxic to try and right himself... but, even as the attempts failed it just felt like it was a hopeless battle. His legs, like the fawns, continued to slip in the mud and Toxic just slumped back over after the two had stopped their attempts... his gaze turned forward for a moment as he frowned "I-I'm so... s-sorry..." He let out softly shivering before trying to shift again, only to fail "I... I ju-just wi-wished N-Nathan w-was here... I... I ran fr-from the ol-old oak... s-so stupid..."

'i too wish nathan was here

'i too wish nathan was here too toxic but i don't know where he is' *leea nuzzle toxic again* 'i know what i can do to keep the rain off toxic' leeo trot's off alittle whlie later he come's back with a mouthful of stick's drop's them by toxic then trot's off again coming back with a mouthful of leef's he did this for a while till he thought he had anothe 'there that should do it' he start's picking up the stick's and stab's them into the mud so that they where leaning over toxic and leea 'what are you doing?''making a shelter i saw mum make one before...... he trail's of before he say's more as he did not wont to upset his sister any more then she is. once the stick's where in place he started putting the leef's ontop so that they covered the stick's and stop the rain from getting though 'there that should do it' he then got in it to but on the other side of toxic and laid his head next to his sister's 'wow leelee i neither knew you could do some thing like this thank you' *she nuzzle's her brother* 'it is nothing realy' *he nuzzled her back* 'it's just something mum showed me' 'what was mum like again i forget' 'she was kind and loveing much like leea' *he smiled at her and she smiled back*'are you feeling warmer now toxic?'

The shelter was a decent

The shelter was a decent thing, Toxic had to shift slightly... hard enough as that was, and made himself comfortable with the two fawns laying with him. His body was still shaking, but not so badly and his coughing was silenced for the time being "A-A little..." He let out softly before laying his head back down "P-Please don't... l-let me fall asleep..."

Looking to the leaf Toxic

Looking to the leaf Toxic shifted and got his head near it in a better position as he slowly started to drink... sighing softly before his ears lowered down at remembering just why he'd run "I-I was coming... out o-of th-the old oak... I-I meant n-no harm. W-Wanted fr-fresh air since I was sick... w-was meet with agg-aggression..." His ears lowered more as he lowered down to the ground slightly "I... w-was scared, showed it... st-still aggression... so... I-I ran to a safe sp-spot... t-tried to go b-back after a b-bit... and I-I got sc-scared away again... d-didn't stop running..."

leea nuzzled toxic saddly 'the deer did not hit you did it like the one that hit me 2 day's ago my cut's have stoped bleeding now well except the one on my head it weep's white stuff every now and then and my eye as you can see is still quite swallon and painfull' leea moved round abit so toxic could see her better 'i don't know why that cut keep's weeping i'm sure i cleaned out as best i could for you leea and as for your eye i have no idea how to make the swalling go down' leeo nuzzle's her then shift's his body in the mud to get more comfrotable.'i've never had another deer acttack me for noe reson other then i'm a fawn before lucky for me there where other deer around that protected me but even so i still got hurt i'll never got near that deer again' she shiver's at the thought of seeing the deer that had acttacked her again' well when i grow up i'll show that deer for hurt you leea' he puffed out his chest as he said this to make him self bigger.

Normally, Toxic wasn't a violent deer, no... most knew him as a peaceful caretaker around the forest who had taken a spill that hurt his leg. A deer that had many friends and few enemies... "He... d-didn't attack... j-just lowered his a-antlers and I had to run... he would k-keep doing it... I didn't know why..." Toxic sighed out softly looking at Leea and frowning some, those red cheeks of his blaring from his fever and illness, a soft chuckle escaping his lips "G-Guess we b-both g-get to g-go to N-Nathan l-later huh?"

leea chuckle's at that 'yea i gess so i just wish i knew where he was' leea look's down at her muddy hoof's ' i'd say we'd need to go swiming to wash this mud of too' leeo jsut chuckle's at her what's wrong with a bit of mud on you it's good for your skin' and with saying that he roll's in the mud 'well it's alright for you, your just a pig anyway' leea giggles and chuck's some mud at leeo at the same time she said that she wisper's to toxic ' i've never seen him take a bath at all since my dad through him in the water for smelling so bad' she chuckled at the memory that had just come back then looked sad and almost started to cry but she did'nt she just put on a fake smile instead.

A sigh escaped Toxic's lips as he frowned, lowering his gaze... "I saw Nathan one, days ago... and since then... nothing. I'm worried something might have happened to him..." Watching the two Fawns some Toxic just let out a soft chuckle and shook his head "Unless you can do a rain dance to make it stop, I don't think there's more you can do at this point in time." He sighed softly, he did hate feeling so... helpless, especially around Leea, it just made him feel like a lost hope for others.

Shifting under the little shelter he was testing out his legs but he wasn't going to stand... a groan before Toxic just flopped his head back down in a fit of harsh coughs. Seemed his cough fits were catching back up on him.

Truthfully, Toxic was

Truthfully, Toxic was fighting off the want to sleep... laying his head back down and glancing out to see that the rain seemed to just be getting worse. A frown, he shivered some... it felt like he was getting colder despite the fact that the shelter was giving a small bit of warmth "The gods are punishing me... just... with all this rain, and being sick... they have to be..."

Really, he wasn't talking to anyone in particular, despite Leea being there with him. A frown and he nestled back down into the cold mud trying to get comfortable, but a wince and hiss came out because of the dirt hitting into that wound on his leg. "I just want to sleep... but I don't want to... I'm afraid of staying asleep..."

leea pull's a leef from the shelter and let's the rain wash it and then use's it to wipe the mud of toxic's bad leg washes it again then place's it over his wound 'it's not much but it mite help keep the mud out of your wound, it is what leelee dose for the cut on my head' she nuzzle's toxic 'i know your tired toxic but you got to try and stay awake i don't know what will happen if you go to sleep and i'm sorry i'm not much help to you i....can't even keep you all that warm becuase....i'm just to small' she start's crying softly 'i realy hope leelee find's somone to help soon i'm begin to feel a little cold now from sitting in the mud' she tryed to get more comfortable but to little use so she just huged her neck over toxic's shoulder and shiver's a little even though she tryed not to.

"Y-You don't have to stay... Leea... y-you don't need to get sick again..." Toxic let out softly, trying to shift so that he could curl around her to give her the warmth rather than himself. His body was quaking with how cold he was starting to get... and any normal deer likely would have given up the fight "I am so... so-sorry to p-put you through this L-Leea..." The stag muttered out, his eyes drifting for a moment before he let them close... he was just too exhausted to fight the urge to sleep.

His eyes cracked back open and nuzzling into Leea Toxic sighed out softly with a frown "I'm awake..." He let out softly nuzzling more into her as he frowned, hopefully Leeon wasn't caught by something... or someone. He knew deer around at these times could be aggressive. leea jumped when toxic started moveing out of the shelter 'T..toxic you should not be pushing your self you just get sicker.........but as your up now i could help you to the oak tree if you realy think you can make there ok' she got up too and was about to walk out of the shelter when she relased her right hinde leg was stuck in the mud she pulled and pulled as hard as she could but she just kept sliping and her leg just got push deeper into the mud she was begin to panick abit but she i'd not say any thing as she did not wont toxic to waste his enegry trying to get her out 'you carry on i'll take down this shelter then catch you up ok' she put on a fake smile so that he could not see any thing was wrong.

leea glance's down at her right hind leg then back to toxic with her tear stained cheek's w...well my leg's have got so cold there num and......um.....i did not feel my right hind leg........sinking into the mud......a...and now i.......um.....c....can't get it out........because it just sink's deeper when i try to pull it out' she started crying again 'i....i'm...s...sorry......i....i'm....n....not...h...helping......i....i'm......j....j..just....m...making......t......t..t..thing's......w....worse. she look's down at the ground tear's running down her nose her leg's and belly all caked in mud and shivering a little as the cold begin's to seep in she looked perfectic and i'm sure if any one passing by had seen they would of laughed if she was not so upset she may have laughed at herself too.

A frown formed on the stags face before he shifted around and moved over, his body was more or less on an auto-pilot setting as he grabbed a bit of her fur in his mouth tugging her up and out of the mud before he stumbled as frowned... Toxic didn't fall... almost but he managed to keep his footing good enough as he looked at the wallowed out mud hole "Please don't be sorry... you are doing nothing wrong Leea."

leea shiver's and look's up at toxic sniffing and rubbing her tear's away with her knee she smile's a little she walk's over to toxic and stand's beside him and nuzzle's him 't.....thank you...i'll try to support you as best as i can ok' she moved closer to toxic so that they where touching and looked up at him with her tear steaned cheek's swallon black eye and a cut on her head that dose not seem to wont to heal. she looked a mess but she did not care any more what she cared about now was getting toxic to the oak tree with as little trouble as possable 'Ready?'

A nod, and he shifted so he wasn't putting that full weight onto the poor fawn. Moving along he was breathing a bit heavy, labored really as he was pushing his limits but his body was just trying to get to a better shelter. Head drooping down, ears lowered as the rain just seemed like it didn't want to let up and he sighed out gently, working to use his body to help shield Leea from the torrents of watery drops coming down "At... least the oak tree will be warm... and... dry..." Toxic muttered out, stumbled forward slightly but kept his footing to avoid from falling.

Leea helped him steady

Leea helped him steady himself affter his stumble 'are you sure you can make it to the oak tree it's a long way to go' she looked at him. a gust of wind made leea shiver 'why is it getting so cold lately' this will be leea and leeo's first winter being they where born in the late spring all the've ever known is the warmth of the sun and the smell of the flower's not to meantion the death of there parant's at the hand's of hunter's and there dog's about 8 week's after they where born they had learned anothe from there parant's to be able to feed them self's and genraly take care of each other but every thing else they have had to teach them self's by trial and error.

"The rut... is when stags and does..." How did he put this, explaining that it was the time of year where stags would reproduce with willing does... a sigh, a slip in the mud and he shook his head for a moment "Let's just say it's the time of year when fawns are being made." Maybe that was the best way to put it... shaking his head he sighed softly "As far as Winter goes, it's all in how you look at it. Snow is beautiful but it gets colder during these times and well a thicker fur coat is always needed."

leea looked down frowning in thought for a minute then looked back at toxic 'oohhh ok winter sound's kinda fun but cold' she shivered again 'ummmmm how do you make a fawn was me and my brother made the same way?' another gust of wind and leea shiver's again but more vilently as the cold is now seeping into her the bone's of her leg's and body making her feel a little drowsy and not wonting to move but she still keep's walking and suporting toxic ' hopefuly we be at the oak tree.....soon' she yawn's and start's to dose off then start's awake again as she trip's but keep's her footing and secretly hopeing toxic did not notice.

"You could say that... all fawns come from the rut this time of year. Born in the spring time, and quick to grow..." He sighed before catching that little trip... she was drowsing off... and he shifted to give her some support as well. Moving along they got to the Old Oak where Toxic lead Leea inside... it was warm, dry and he finally allowed for those pained legs to collapse out from under him as he laid down sighing softly. "As far as how we... make a fawn. That's another story for when you're a little older." He chuckled, before shifting... he didn't want to close his eyes.

affter finding no one at the

affter finding no one at the oak tree and having a little rest leeon ran of toward the pond hopeing to find someone there. mean whlie seeing the oak tree leea followed toxic inside and piled up a load of dry leef's to make a soft bed next to toxic who had all ready laid down she then yawned and a shiver ran through her body before she laid down close to toxic and put her head no his back. 'it's so nice to finely be out of that wind and rain you'll be ok now wont you toxic?..hmm when will i be older for you to tell me how to make fawn's? even though there now in out of the wind she could feel the cold seep up from her numbed leg's and into the rest of her body makeing her shiver every now and then she too was finding it hard to keep her eye's open right now.

Toxic let out, nuzzling into the ground slightly, he felt Leea shivering every now and then and wished really... that they had a type of blanket or something to at least cover up in. Glancing up, he shifted and let out a soft call, since... Leeon wasn't there "I'm worried though, your brothers still out in the rain... he could get sick... well sick like me anyway."

There was a frown as Toxic sighed, shifting a bit more and curling his body around Leea's some "My suggestion though, stay away from most stags during the rut... most can be aggressive, even the most gentle."

leeon found no one at the pond either he was getting a little worryed about toxic and his sis being out in the cold for long he to would of been feeling the cold if he was not running around like he has been. then he heard a soft but very feint call that sounded like toxic but it came from the old oak tree so leeon let out a call as loud as he could to conferm if it was toxic or some other deer.
leea snuggle's up close to toxic abit more ' leelee will be ok i've never known him to get sick'

'it is toxic what's he doing at the old oak? did someone find them and help him to the oak oh i do hope so' leeon said to him self then ran off back to the oak tree. he was covered in mud mixed with rain water and sweat from running he got to the oak tree and panting he looked inside only to find toxic and leea laying next to each other alone 'hi....s...sorry i...was..not able.....to...find...anyone.....how did.....you get.......here.....by your.....self's?'

Really the stag was trying to warm her up and wasn't having too much luck in it since his body was muddied and cold from rain water and being out in it for so long. "Most are likely hiding from the rain..."

Toxic just chuckled softly,

Toxic just chuckled softly, laying his head down with a gentle sigh as he shifted a bit more to get comfortable "It's nice to be out of the weather... but I'll likely have to join in for a bath... this mud is going to take so much time to get out of my fur." A gentle sigh... then, coughing. Harsh coughing as the stag groaned out and flopped his head to a side, why was it such a pain to be sick?

"It just feels like everyone that I knew... everyone that was so close and dear to me... have abandoned me... Except you two... you two are here when I need you most. You are here when I'm shrouding myself in depression..." There was a sharp cough, and then... more as he kept his head on the ground, staring at the insides of the oak with somewhat blank eyes "What has happened to everyone else... they forgot about me... abandoned me... do they wish for me to die?"

Toxic sighed out softly, keeping his head laid out on the dirty ground under the Oak's warming presence. His eyes glazed over slightly as he looked out seemingly lost in his own feverish illness as he sighed deeply "Then why haven't they come? When... they are around... it seems that I am forgotten..." He sighed again, and his eyes twisted in a look of sorrow "I know Claudia is busy, she is attending the Rut... and I know that the rut is here... but... it just feels like I've been abandoned by everyone... everyone that once cared for me. Leea nuzzle's toxic ' you will alway's have us toxic we never leave you and we will try are best to cheer you up when you are down and ummm annd oh Wow! look my coat has change i never even noticed it awww it's sssssssssooooooooo pretty and Leeo you've gotten darker or is it just the light in here ' leeo shake's his head indisbelife that leea has only just now noticed there coat's changing and smile's at her ' no it's not the light in here my coat is turning black just like your's is turning white silly little Doe' 'he chuckle's and nuzzle's her ' as leea say's toxic we will always be here for you no matter what' he smiled warmly at toxic and nuzzled him.
