The Endless Forest community site has moved to another server. The transition was very difficult and may have caused some posts to have gotten lost. Sorry for the inconvenience. But welcome back!

Hello! I'm in the forest

Hello!

I'm in the forest since about 3 months, but I didn't saw any "special events" (with bublles and candles etc...) for may ! Would you tell me if something is about to happen, or if there is a calendar for it?

Au passage, s'il y a des cerfs français dans la forêt, merci de me faire signe! Pas facile de s'intégrer dans la communauté quand on ne pratique pas trop l'anglais...

If you have already

If you have already downloaded the game, then all you need to do is double click the game's icon. This will launch the game. In the game's menu (which you open from the little dot in the corner) you can log in using the user name and password you used to create your account. This will let you play as your deer

Alright, if it didn't

Alright, if it didn't automatically put an icon on your desktop, you'll need to got to the start menu. In the start menu there should be a tab that lets you see a list of programs. You'll need to find the tab that says The Endless Forest on it. Click that and then click the option that says The Endless Forest. This should start the game. (If you aren't using Windows...I have no idea >_< sorry!)

You should connect

You should connect automatically when you start the game, but if not, click the little round button in the bottom left hand corner of the menu. This will bring up a menu on the screen; click Network (I think? ._.) and then click connect.

For this to work you need to have registered your deer and gotten a pictogram. If you haven't registered you just play as a 'nameless' grownup.

I am still un-able to comment properly. Every time I comment it says error, but the comment is sctually posted. I have to go back to the endless forest home page, and find the picture I comented on, and see my comment.

I have tried removing and changing my display name, and it has not worked at all.

You look over to the left of the screen, and where it says 'My blog' you click the link and then right under your name on the next page there will be a link that says 'Post new Blog entry'. You can also post blogs by going to the 'Diaries' like on the left of the screen as well.

If your remove your Display

If your remove your Display Name in your Profile, then post a comment, and then change your Display Name back, it does work. You can use that as a workaround until we find a proper solution.
