Updated: 7.9 Mellion ought to have his set now supposing that I managed to save his spelldata this time. NB! Due to a new character Februari I have, Mellion won't be much if at all in the forest as long as Febru is a fawn. I want her to experience her fawnhood to the fullest so long as it lasts.

Wearing: The Great Argus pelt, the antelope antlers and a white mask whose name I don't know.

Personality: composed, gentle, resolute, easy to please and amuse but if irritated can get quite derisive.

Important to know about him: Mellion may be easily startled and may appear hostile if he’s approached carelessly from behind or from his left, for his left eye is blind. He doesn’t mean any actual harm by that, it’s just self protection. Friends of Mellion don’t have to be so careful, though, for Mellion recognises them by their scent.

Mellion is an orphan who woke up in the forest one day after having wandered around lost for several days. Even as a small fawn he could sense the forest ’s aura around him. It was arcane and powerful but it wasn’t scary at all; Mellion felt like he had returned back home even though he had never been in the forest before. Hence, because of this warm and cozy feeling, Mellion decided to stay in the forest. It was good to find a safe place to live in for a wayfarer’s life was very tirening for a small fawn without a herd.

Perhaps because Mellion wasn’t brought up by an older deer he initially lacked in social skills in the forest where (he found out) lived many other deer besides him. That’s probably why he didn’t develop close relationships with anyone when he was still a fawn. Today, however, he has pulled his act together and knows how to behave conventionally in a social situation. Still, because he didn’t tie close relationships when he was young, he has some trouble striking up firm friendships with other deer even today.

One of the few friends Mellion managed to make in his fawnhood was Ivon, another small fawn who seemed to face life without guidance. Ivon became an important deer in Mellion’s life and they would often spend time together. As they started pushing adolescence, though, something dramatic happened between them. In the thick of a quite rough play Ivon accidentally jabbed Mellion in his left eye with his growing antlers, making his friend go blind from the impact. Shaken by his own deed Ivon ran away from the forest before Mellion could tell him he didn’t hold a grudge against him for what happened. It was an accident after all.

Nonetheless, the blinding of his left eye has had a huge impact on Mellion’s life, making it more complicated. The loss of the eye affected on his stereopsis, which is why Mellion may appear a little clumsy (and he hates it!). Because of his impaired eye sight Mellion doesn’t always dare to participate in the play of other deer as energetically as he would like to either. For instance, he can almost never be seen jumping over the river. He only does so when he is feeling very frisky. Otherwise he considers it too risky for himself.

# Mellion is often at loss with fawns even though he likes them. He just doesn’t always realize what they want from him but he tries his everything to make them feel comfortable. Sometimes the quick and energetic fawns tire Mellion, though, for too much hassle gets easily to him because of his mono sight.

# Mellion has always been supernaturally sensitive. That’s why he can sometimes sense something he doesn’t see in his surroundings or other deer’s presence even before he even sees, hears or smells the deer. He doesn’t know how to describe this ability better than calling it his sixth sense.

# Usually hanging around the pond, even though he is afraid of water. He has a weird love-hate relationship with the pond. When he could still see with his both eyes he would really enjoy watching the fish swimming around in the water, and thus he still cherishes the place, even though he has to be more careful around deep water today.

# Has a terrible memory when it comes to remembering other deer. Trying hard to improve his face memory, though.
