Lady Luck Readings: Imogenya's Tarot

Past: as the card backs show, the first Tarot drawn is reversed. It revealed the upside-down queen of swords. As any good Tarot reader knows, the queen, here, is a real moody woman. On a good day, in the upright position, she is gracious and ambient. But in your past, Imogenya, she has been cunning. Leaving her victims reeling from her cutting irony and sarcasm, the card suggests that you have been kicked while you were already down, sometime in the prequel to the present you live in, now.

Present: almost no better than your past, you can't get a break from the swords, as nine of them, standing upright, plague your next card. Unfortunately, they bring with them times of anxiety and stress. There may be feelings of victimization, recent illness, and suffering that protest against the present. Your resilience may be low, or you may be suffering from thwarted spirits. You need to keep your head and dignity held high in these times.

Future: finishing the weapon-themed sandwich of a reading, the king of swords, himself, in the upright position appears. He's a competitive businessman, with deep desires and ambition. He is quick-witted and adept at solving puzzles in a pinch, but at times, he is not detail-oriented enough. Because of this neglect to details, sometimes goals and projects can fall through on him, despite his nimble ability to act quickly. He can be a confusing card to read because he keeps his plans relatively confidential, but I can safely say, don't be like the king of swords. Instead, keep him, and your plans, under pressure, by maintaining a steady eye. In a sense, you should treat the king of swords like a construction worker, tending to your future. If he is not supervised close enough, your destiny will be riddled with holes and flaws. Supervise his work closely.
