Also, I was was experimenting with my "chubby chibis" and needed someone to practice on, so I hope you don't mind that I used Alice as a guinea pig. c:
She's a lovey character, and was a joy to work on.
ugh you have the coolest paper if this is traditional, lol. ;n;
and your style and coloring techniques are to die for. argh. totally loving the way you do feathers and fur. plus your anatomy just keeps improving.. it's absolutely crazy, haha. ♥
The drawing is traditional, but the paper texture is digitally layered over it. I wish I had paper that cool, though. >u>
And thank you so much, truly. It's really satisfying to see how much I've improved (at least deer-wise), but I know I still have a long way to go. Words like that encourage me greatly.
al;sjghd. if you ever find cool paper like that, pick me up some. LOL. I'll pay for shipping. ;D
pshh. don't even mention it. it's so interesting to watch artists like you learn and grow through your art. it's such a treat, haha. c: SO BE ENCOURAGED. you're doing great and better keep it up!
AFJSHJFSJ♥ /dies. This is so awesome, the posture she is in is amazing, and the acrillic style is just to die for. I couldn't have asked for anything better ♥ Thank you so much! I'll have to make Angjali amazing now, rofl!
Hooran: I'm so glad you like it, yay! ♥ You're very welcome, and thank you as well for doing an art trade with me and giving me the chance and motivation to keep practicing. I'm looking forward to seeing Anjali. C:
Thank you so much, Han. Can I call you Han? ;;
I love the look of ancient illustrations and illuminated manuscripts, and I try to replicate that.
I'm glad it's working! <333
Oh, yus c: I don't mind <3
They are fascinating, remains me of art history class.
That's not an insult, I know some people find it boring but to me it's fascinating to see old methods of art from different cultures, even if the newer stuff can be a little dry .A. You do it well too, the replication I mean. I feel like I could run my fingers across the screen and feel the roughness of the paper it's on. ♥
I loved art history class in high school; that was probably my favorite class.
I'm still learning how to make the texture layers look good - not too much, not too little - but I really like the effect it gives. Now if only I would do my own backgrounds...
