Black brows frowned at the voice. He lifted his head from his slumber, antlers like fire around the crown he had carried since he too became a deer of the endless. This voice was not entirely a stranger to the Irish. "Rewards? You speak of rewards? What could Death possibly reward me." It seemed odd. For a long moment, he was in thought. He had no use for a reward, none he could think of atleast. Perhaps then, he should not care about a reward at all. "I will help Iaurdagnire if he needs me to. If that means I need to assist you, then so be it."
With that, he lowered his head again to rest. How easy was it to trust such a voice?

Eyes only half slits in the baking hot of the day.
The sun sets in the far distance, little illusions of heat dance upon the blackness of her coat and rays of gold shatter upon her forever tattered markings.
The Swan was sad to hear his demanding, all-powerful voice.

It was barely a whisper.

The Swan is forever sought out.
She answers his call because she is called upon, and because more than anything she respects the order and balance of things.
Creatures come, and creatures all must eventually go.

I understand that you have called upon the creatures of this forest to collect a certain treasure that you seek...

There was a strange heaviness in her heart. A longing.
Because she knew she was made with greater purpose than living among the forest, but that calling has long been neglected.
The Swan, since the beginning, has existed in limbo.

She lives and does not truly live, but The Black Swan lives forever.

For the sake of Iaurdagnire, and curiosity of this... reward you speak of, I will find what you are looking for.

From the top of a birch hill, her eyes travel across the land around her.
Her tired weight is supported by a sun-bleached tree which leaves were killed by the stifling heat.

From here, she sees everything.

The Red spoke what was truth in his mind - how things were. Virgil was never his true name, it was an alias given by the gods. His true identity is of his very feral scent.
He looked directly towards what he imagined the god of death to look like. And it was not the skulled beast everyone else interpreted. Death looked far less sinister, and one the Hart can trust whole-heartedly when he knows the time is right.
"We shall see."

Quad shakes his head, "Considering you...", he speaks, "I wouldn't be surprised if you really were trying to send him to hell. I've made my choice. If Iaurdagnire needs help, I will speak to him directly.", he bows here and turns away.

It was enjoyable to see so many deer racing around the forest. <3
I had fun, even if I wasn't a very active participant.

Starling - Thank you for the compliment on my artwork, I discovered through this that skulls are perhaps one thing I'm quite good at drawing haha, shame I don't have a skull character ;D Happy it's inspired you!

Herla was just the sexy chick of the team. Every team needs a sexy chick. I guess Gehirn was the black guy.. Virgil the sexy main-character and Fikos the cute mascot? o_o'

There was many things the doe did not remember after she had awoken again from...what should she call it?...her death. Her own names, her friends and families...all this had been forgotten, until she was told what her name was, and who her friends and family was. Now did she at least know the name on some of them. But as she laid eyes on the giant stag, memories came back in a flash. Memories of foggy days, of owls and wolves, and Velocity. Her sitting for hours next to his sleeping body, only to enjoy those short moments when he wakes up and decide to romp with them. Already from the first time she saw him had Illrose admired this creature deeply. So it was not hard to answer his question;
"Yes. I will help you find what you seek."

Everything had built and recent events had left her too sour and empty to give a damn about answering a god. In fact, she found more reason to disrespect one than to grovel at its hooves. Gods were stupid, childish fawns without a clue, anyway. But, she had a task to do nonetheless and when the time came, she was nearly mechanical in her movements, bee-like, back and forth, with a piece of skull deposited at Velocity's hooves each time she came to him.

She came many times and not all of the pieces she brought were those of Summer's. In fact, she brought two seperate, who skulls; little treasures she tore from the faces of deeply sleeping deer. Spiteful glares she shot the deity of death told her just how much she hated serving him and all these little pieces and extra, whole masks that held no connection to the lost season of Iaurdagnire might serve to make his task a little more hellish somehow. Not that she imagined it would stall him much, but it was still an insult of some kind - in her mind, at least.

"Now hurry the hell up and get 'Nire freed of this ridiculous mess."

Spoken with bitter arrogance. Because everything was Velocity's fault, too. Somehow.

Crybaby had seen this creature before, in his dreams.. at the edge of death and when he had almost left this world for good. It seemed to stay close to him, following him... even if it often was a mere shadow. He knew the feeling of its empty eyes staring at him, it wasn't unfamiliar to the small buck. And he wasn't afraid of it, at least not for himself.

But of course he didn't want his friend Iaurdagnire to get into any sort of danger.
"I don't know if I should actually help you.. but I will after all, to help my friend like you said." spoke the Fallen one. "I don't need any reward for this though.." he trusted Velocity's last words: ... than simply helping your friend.... Succeeding in helping Iaurdagnire was the biggest reward he could ever get.

It just was a feeling.. that he had to do it, maybe not fail for once in his lifetime down here.
And so he agreed..

*cries* I'm so sorry Kaoori, I kept them open as long as I could ;;
