Ohh wow, I remember when I went to Mexico in the summer. Got the amazing experience of diving in the Caribbean, the water was literally turquoise blue when we got to our dive spot. Was amazing. Also got to see a few barracudas, a porcupine fish, and a nurse shark while I was under there, ahhh. Wish I could afford a return trip sob
Also got to tour a lot of places and met a lot of super interesting people while I was in Cozumel ;v; And got to see alligators, yeee. But yeah, the only ocean I had ever seen up to that point was the gulf, so seeing water like that completely blew me away.
Was SUPERRRR hot tho I feel you on that B ' I we went in the hottest month. Glad to hear you had a nice trip! Was there anything super interesting that happened? ovo

I did pet the dog. He followed us around and I scratched his head. We were looking at the ruins of a temple and I'm the one in the group who squeaked and ran to the dog walking around in the village. ;_;

You can find Rockruff after beating the first island Kuhana. Go to the professors lab on the beach, and hang a left. You'll see a bunch of rocks that the Tauros you get can smash through. Go through the tunnel (its called Ten Carrat Hill) and out into the meadow. Rockruff is found in the grass out there, it's pretty common, and it's the only place you can get one.
As an aside, if you're an Eevee addict like me, you can find those on the second island on Routes 4 and 6. They're very, very hard to find though, so it does take patience.
It's still in my logs, I think. I'll have to screencap it for posterity before I lose it. :]
Yeah, it's a pain in the ass catching Eevee though; I ended up deciding to SOS chain, as I found out you can get Espeon during the day and Umbreon during the night by doing that. By some stroke of luck I ended up with a female Espeon. It's actually kinda easier than catching an Eevee and trying to make it friendly if you want either evolution ASAP.
I caught one too! I didn't even realize they were on the first island until Kukui did the Z-move tutorial. I got myself a boy named Belenus. <3
Hilariously, and perhaps tragically, enough, my team is pretty much all assembled. Only two of them (My Brionne and Rockruff) are Alolan natives. Makes me a little sad, but I am trying to use Pokemon I've either never used (Such as Rufflet), or have only used a handful of times (Growlithe and Cottonee). I love the game so much though, it's beautiful and a lot of fun.
On the other games, I used to run through and never catch most pokemon; this one seems much more relaxed to me and fun (like you said!) and I have had a really fun time filling up my Pokedex.
(Also I think I may be the only person in the world still playing Pokemon Go, rofl)
we may not know each other well but you've been around since I joined six years ago, and TEF isn't the same without you, whether you know many people or not. ♥
