In many ways it looks as if though it's on life support with all the wires and tubes running everywhere.

Although - I hope you don't mind criticism, though this isn't really criticism of the art as such, just,
I wish it was a little bigger.. I feel as though much of the detail is overlooked when it's this small. Because the detail is amazing and very intricate, I feel it's a shame not to see it more clearly.
Anyway it's amazing how you've made it both look like an organic heart, and as MrQuezt said, like tubes and wires and machinery. Also at the same time as beeing a DEER. Even the veins above the deer's head look like antlers. That's a lot you've managed to capture in one picture. <3

yes you may be right reason ^^ all that is raport with the branches of a tree woods remind me of the veins, blood flowing like the sap of a tree, the roots as the arteries like of a heart .
J'ai mis quelques secondes à réaliser que c'était un cerf, et disons que ça m'a fait une très drôle d'impression. A la base, j'ai vu les sabots, puis j'ai remonté tout le long et j'ai vu le corps en entier XD J'aime réellement cette idée, la pose et l'anatomie sont très jolies.
