Honestly, coloring is a daunting task imo. I have been drawing since I was small, but only in recent years (2009 or so) did I start to try coloring because I was so afraid of messing up or making it look bad.
I can tell you put a lot of time into this! She looks great! Her feather mane and tail can be difficult and I really like how you used the iridescent colors to make her look shiny!
Also the background.. I don't know if your intent was to make it look a bit tense and foreboding, but that's what I feel looking at and it's perfect for her character! She's always low-key on edge about something so it really fits.
