...eye of the storm, a calm unspoken.....

......:The day was cool when I awoke, the sky alive as the clouds eagerly passed overhead. I opened my eyes quite slowly, enjoying the calm which I had recently let go of with my unreliable health. Istretched my legs, standing up straight to scan the horizon for a certain sound which I believed to have caught just moments ago. It wasn't just a trick of mind, and I soon found Poltergeist sitting calmly beneath a tree. I greeted her with a tender nuzzle, bowing not soon after. Noticing she had stood, I motioned her to come over and sit, that perhaps I shouldn't have interupted her calm rest. It wasn't long before both of us ended up basking in the sun, watching as other residence of the calm forest leaped and bounded near the pond in every direction.

.....:I turned to her, noticing her eyelids grow heavy and her ears relax just a tad. She was tired, no doubt of it. I nuzzled her once again, while still sitting, insisting that if she were drowsy, she shouldn't need to stay awake. Poltergeist complied, and apparently, so did I, as we both ended up napping beneath the warm sun. I've been exaughsted for no reason as of late, and I found a strange comfort of laying beside her, protecting her from whatever dangers that could lurk within the shadows. So tired were we, that we lay there silenced for quite awhile, before I felt Poltergeist stir and begin to awaken. I frowned, nuzzling her, my mind telling myself that it was time for my departure. We said our goodbyes, and I whispered a quick 'I love you, Poltergeist', before I fell asleep for the day.

......:A sudden jerk in one of my backlegs awoke me with a sudden start. My heart, now in an almost clockwork normality, was pounding even quicker than what would be considered average. I pricked my ears, shaking the sleep from my eyes as I stood and stretched, pleasantly surprised to the cooler day that the forest was granting it's residence. Small gusts of wind shivered the landscape every now and then, and I truly enjoyed the fresh air that raced across the hills. Perking my ears, I lstened for any familiar hoofbeats, sounds, anything to regonize one deer from another. I suppose I was quite refreshed, judging by the decent amount of sleep I was finally given, without interuptions to bother me.

......:I regonized that gate, in the far off distance beyond the hills of the ruin. Not the weight in comparrison, to say, but that nervous but eager thunder which ran so thoroughly across the horizon. The following fawn. I turned in the direction of the sound, shivering as a cool breeze whisped by, and as I spotted my target. It wasn't a fawn. The following fawn, once so small and light. No...had I been mistaken? They seemed to transform into an elegant doe, which ran daintily past with such eagerness that I couldn't find a comparrison to match it. Their pelt was glowing with a hue of pure white, with a purple mask and fin-like antlers. But, alas it was only a moment before she ran out of sight, yet I was intending to follow.
......:I followed Miss Iendoe for quite awhile, watching as she tried to shake a stag which was also quite eager on following. She escaped easily into the birch forest, where I was greeted by a distinctively warmer forest, in which beams of light shone percariously upon the landscape. I stood near a towering tree, awaiting Miss Iendoe's notice, before she finally managed to spot me. I must've looked incredibly silly, as I surely held this confident grin upon my features which I couldn't seem to shake. Forgetting my manners, I bowed, deeply, my nose nearly touching the ground. Once I arose, she greeted me with a light curtsy, and I began to move closer.

......:"Miss...I do believe...we have met before...." I stuttered, regonized the picture in which was her name, of sorts. "Have you grown up....so quickly?" I finally asked, still trying to pick up upon her body language. Thankfully, she seemed to regonize me. "Pardon me for being so rude...long ago. I never properly introduced myself. My name is Wudiin." She nodded, in which I took to listening for any noises within the air. My heart was pounding, and I suddenly felt a surge of heaviness overtake my head. I bowed, pardoning my actions after catching up with a few details about her time spent. I headed to the Crying Idol, taking a quick sip of it's cool water before wandering back to the bank.

......:My ears perked, and I heard a sligh rustle in the nearby foliage. That's right, she may not still be a fawn, but she did enjoy following. I let a chuckle escape my breath, before turning and bowing to Miss Iendoe. She approached, and we both exchanged bows in a more formal manner. I paused afterwards, taking a deep breath in before speaking. "Care to join me for a stroll?" I askes passively, in which she nodded, and followed me in a calm walk. We meandered along the stream for awhile, listening to the quiet day as tufts of wind still carressed the landscape. Soon though, I found myself once again, hopelessly drowsy. I turned to Miss Iendoe, saying goodbye in a deep bow. "I must say, you've grown up into a wonderful young doe." I whispered before roaring into the sky, as I normally did. "Until we meet again, Miss." I turned to her and said in almost a whisper, before drifting into a heavy sleep.

.....:When I awoke, I was dissapointed by an increase in heat which shrouded the forest. I stood quite reluctantly, stretching my legs in an impecibly slow manner. Finally, once situated, I began to wander towards the pond, taking deep, careful breaths as to try and slow the normal pounding which increased in my chest. Finally reaching the water, I slid into the cool waters, adjusting my appearence after I had left it soon afterwards. A quick toss of cinnamon, and I quickly fell back into walking aimlessly around the land. My mind was buzzing with thoughts, and I always found walking a fine way to deal with such hectic ideas. Miss Iendoe...another deer I had seen grow from a small fawn into a older, almost adult deer. First Sir Rajan, and now her. I recalled when the fawn and I had relaxed beneath a cloud of confetti on that Easter Day, and chuckled beneath my breath. She still wore that same, glimmering white pelt from even then. I suppose it's a comfort to realize I'm not the only alabastar-fur deer wandering about the forest.

......:Just when I finished my first train of thought, I heard a music like sound dart into my ears. I knew this sound almost instictively now, and I suppose one could say I always lsiten for such. Poltergeist. I stopped, turning my heavy head towards the nearby birch forest, quickly spotting the dark-pelted doe walking not far off in the distance. I smiled, instantly adjusting my posture to a much more acceptable one, with my head held high and my body held straight. My heart quickened along with my breath, when she finally turned to face me. Suddenly, without a second thought I burst forward, bowing for only a moment before embracing Poltergeist with a nuzzle. We exchanged greetings, chatting for a bit of happenings and expierences. Suddenly, out of nowhere, I seemed to questions, "Sha'll we walk?" She nodded eagerly, and we both took to wandering amidst the forest floor. I suppose I've come and taken a liking to such relaxing activities, perhaps because I cannot uphold much of a run anymore. Age isn't a factor, thankfully, although that disastorous heart of mine is.

......:We walked peacefully for a few minutes, engaging in clever chat and aimless conversation. I looked out, forwards, turning from Poltergeist for a moment t ospot the upcoming 'Ruins'. I tossed my head, instisting that perhaps she would follow. She did, eagerly, which puts a smile to my face everytime I see such amibition and enthusiasm coming from her. We ran, and I ignored my body as it screamed in agony, fighting each roaring 'thump' as we ran towards the ruin. Arriving shortly after, I caught my breath over the period of several minutes, as we immersed ourselves in quite an amount of silly games.

......:There was a break in the fun, however, when I noticed Poltergeist growing saddened. My face copied it, with a sad look of gloom also taken upon mine, realizing that she must make her departure before I. She bowed, a frown plastered upon her features. I lowered my head, returning the bow, nuzzling her with a touch of gentleness that I would always add when she had to leave before I. I let my face linger a bit longer than normal though, staring directly into her eyes for what lasted a mere few moments. On impulse though, I drew closer, shivering as I felt her breath exhale. Smiling, I pulled away, grinning to the blush that dominated her features now. I hadn't even touched her, and already she was covered in a flushed red. "I love you." I murmered, bowing once again as she lay to leave the forest. Once again, I layed beside her, watching as her body dissapeared into a cloud of purple dust.

......:I didn't move for quite awhile, not daring to stir untill many minutes had passed. The spot where she once fell asleep now grew chilled, like the rest of the earth around to ruin. I stood, walking away with but another bow. Slowly, but steadily, I made my way towards the pond, stopping occasionally to observe a deer or two playing with another.

.....:Suddenly, I heard a set of two deer approach, and I stood upright without a single delay. One deer, to my left, held a real deer mask, a striped pelt, and a set of fine fan-like antlers. To my right, stood a smaller deer, their mask the same as the other, but with a brownish pelt and red flowers within their antlers. I stood frozen in time, watching as they began to approach. A warm breeze flew by, in which I could feel the fur upon my neck sway within the breeze. I kept a emotionless face, watching carefully as they came even closer. By this time, though, I hadn't the wish remain in the situaiton much longer, the feeling of shyness I thought I had lost overtaking my in the form of bolting. I ran quickly, remaining light on my hooves as I let my pounding heart carry me across the hills of the darker forest. Reaching a ray of light, I looked upwards into the break of the branches, observing each swaying dance that the treetops created. Not a moment too soon that I looked back downwards, only to find the same two deer in my pursuit. I rose my head, tilting it at a slight upward angle, before running away once more, with an increasing speed.

......:I arrived once more at the crying idol, taking comfort in a cool sip of water which would refresh my energy on this warmer day. My ears flicked, and once again I found the same two deer not far off the horizon, staring patiently at my fleeting form within the corner of my eye. I sighed, raising my head from the water and turning to face them. I stared, rather rudely I suppose, trinyg to conjure up a meaning behind their chase. I took a few steps forward, keeping a high posture as a took another couple of steps. Finally, I bowed, my body held lower than what I would consider a normal greeting. Perhaps they were intriguied, I suppose I could say I'm not exactly what one expects to find in a fellow deer. My pelt is anything but normal, I presume. They stood up from their previously sitting position, and returned the bow. I grinned, growing even closer, finally near enough to spot the whites of their eyes. I bowed, curious as to their motives. They seemed quite cautious, I noted. Soon though, I was being greeted with a set of reluctant sniffs and flighty bows. I furrowed my brow, squinting my eyes as I watched the two try and figure the state of what they were observing. I looked away for a brief moment, before tossing my antlers in a motion to follow. They did, and we raced off towards the pond, not a word yet spoken.

.......:I dissapeared off the shore of the pond, trying to create a sense of confusion within the pair. It wasn't exactly very kind of me, I suppose, but I couldn't help but trick their minds. Appearing back onto the cliff, I smirked off the corner of my lips. It wasn't very long before another fawn approached, almost copying the other deer's with a reluctant sniff and bow. My face contorted into an expression of curious confusion, as the fawn eagerly gave me a quick nuzzle before bowing. I turned to the other deer, trying to transpose the actions of the fawns. They seemed to shrug, and I chuckled as the fawn ran off as quickly as it came. Our group then after leaped over the chasm which was the delta of the pond, and landed safely on the other side. I could feel myself growing tired, and knew this might be a fine time to leave while there was a break inthe curiousity. As I bowed, I finally spoke my first words to the two. "It was a pleasure meeting you both. If I may say, my name is Wudiin...and I look forward to seeing each of you again." I offered with a warm smile, as one introduced themselves as Sir Virgil, and I tucked away the name into the collection that I now secured. With names exchanged, I fell into sleep beneath a ray of light.

So you are the all white

So you are the all white fellow Baal saw. Nice set choice.

I must say, I rather like how you use screenshots to tell your story. Almost don't have to read it. Though since I have read this I see I need to look for the beginning of it.

You turn day to day wandering into quite a story.

For some reason I really like the word alabastar you used there.. Me not being english, I'd never be able to find such words. I know, that I notice such things XDD *Odd type of person*
Hm, atleast Wud seems to feel a bit better. Polt had noticed he had become more calm as of lately, but she doesn't mind. She's pretty much fine with everything as long as he's feeling well too <3 Daw. Oh and yes, Iendoe! I/Polt had hoped you/Wudiin would meet her again, as she has been grown up for quite a while XDD Polt has loads of fun playing with her.
