The confusion

Wanna dance - but nobody else seems to feel like it...
Is there some underlying message in starting to dance? Are there special dance parties in the forest or something?

I was able to help someone to change the mask, and was warned (I think) not to get into the cage in ruins - I don't think there are traps in TEF but is there a glitch hidden there or something?

Also some very nice Deer changed my pelt which didn't last long but was still fun Smiling...

Still not sure how casting enchantments works - especially with other fawns when we both get the idea to charm the other at the same time, there is lot of light but nothing seems to happen... Or sometimes just happens for one of us... Well I guess it's the part of growing up we mess up a lot Eye...

Does a spell one picks up is only good for one casting?

Why can we pick red and purple flowers but not the yellow and blue ones?

Are we supposed to greet all Deers we meet or only bother them if we need some help with something? I would go for greeting everyone but I wouldn't like to be a bother if the norm is to only disturb others when you wish for them to help out...

So much to find out Smiling

Oh and is there some way to zoom the camera by keybord? Unfortunately my scroll doesn't work very well (since I use pad)...

Thanks so much again to all that helped me out in the Forest and gave advice here yesterday Smiling... How do you say "thanks" in deerish? I tried bowing and nodding but I'm not quite sure if it's right... Hopping would express joy I think but I'm not sure...
Also I apologize to everyone I meet that my Deearie sometimes bows or makes gestures in weird directions not face to face, or starts to run all of a sudden and seems to get confused as to where to go - It's quite hard to control it by pad with issues Sad...

Just starting and loving it :)

Hello just wanted to say a big great thank you to all who kept me company today and to developers...
I had some previous experience with gaming - one I didn't enjoy much.
Most of my life I was a bookworm, then I've met some friends who were into gaming - and since it was the thing to do if you wanted to have something to talk with them about I've played a bit, more of an chore than a pleasure. Most of my life I was working hard to achieve some goals. For me life itself was a game where I had to go through the motions, get things done, level up and so on, so on. Right now even my everyday job consist of going through motions that are similar to a game - so neither in this now distant past nor recently was I ever able to quite understood what are the kicks in gaming...

I've read about TEF in a book I've came upon by weird accident named "Death by Video Game" (a rather mischievous title since after all the author writes much more about why games are great and not harmful and even helpful in some cases) and I got intrigued after reading about Forest in one of the chapters, I've thought that it could be a game I could enjoy: a great big forest, lot's of creatures, some water, the magic is going on, but there is no goals to achieve, no rivalry, no need to talk - just movements (I was into mime before my spine gave up on me)... I thought I should give it a try.

So after all I've spend half a day today on it and I've really enjoyed even though I still don't get how all the options work and it took me a while to figure out which button does what and when (do not tell I like to discover and I have all month as a fawn to fawn upon it Eye)... Got some deers rolling on the floor (bless you) as a side effect I suppose...
Still have some troubles with etiquette though: how do you say hi? Smell the air, bow? How do you say goodbye?
