Vilnius

There is a soft pumping sound, pulsing, thrumming, coming from the small grove of trees upon the hill that overlooks the pond.
The scent of blood drifts from the area as well, fresh and hot.
Should one be brave enough to look into what the sound and scent was, they would find a stag, though his gently rounded stomach might come as a surprise, will you speak with the Prince of Hearts?

----

Alaska

A flash of snow white within the sunlight.
A stag sits within the halo of warmth, white as virgin snow how ironic that is.
Beneath each eye are rivers of crimson colouration, but aside from that his coat is pure.
His eyes seem to contain the night sky itself, languid ribbons of aurora colour spin and weave within them.

---

Amsden

The soft sound of the river gurgles and sings.
Beside it, a stag of crimson fur sits, a silken coat lays over him, buttoned at the neck, golden blond hair flopping into his eyes.
a few earrings hang from his ears, and necklaces hand about his neck.
He seems relaxed, happy even, certainly good company, right?

Sucre

What could that smell be...
Chocolate, and vanilla...sugar caramel, syrup? sugar!
The stag trots lightly through the shady first forest, various candies sitting upon, hanging from, and generally growing from his bubblegum antlers.
He wears a wide grin, cotton candy tail waving behind him, nearly dancing as he moves.

Patriot

---

Upon the altar, nestled within the ruins, sitting like a demon from a long forgotten legend, a winged canine sits.
Her ears of red and blue feathers twitch lazily every so often, she probably already knows you're around, it's easy to see in her eyes, which glow neon green, as if radioactive.
Her tail gives a twitch, music notes rippling.
Dare you approach?

---

Angevine

A muzzle extends, butterfly landing upon it, and the stag, for he is very much a stag despite his lack of antlers, smiles slightly.
He's a pretty looking male, and he looks very at peace, sitting in the sunlit flowers, amongst the butterflies, though they are far more colourful than the markings upon him, or him in general, he seems to fit there.

-----

Thomas J Alain

If one did not look closely they might have assumed that the stag was wearing a coat.
But he was not, the color of his fur merely mimicked the patterning and colors of the revolutionary war uniform he had worn in his human life.
of course the may also have assumed he was a doe, lacking in antlers as he was.
his tail gives a flick as he walks slowly through the forest, turning his head to take everything in, a bloodied medical patch giving him a blind spot, and his ears constantly turn to make up for it.

----

France

He seems to strut as he walks, showing off every (rather delicious) inch of fur and body he can, bright blond hair tied back, showing bright blue eyes, no antlers to be seen, who needs them? he's not a fighter, he's a lover
He sings lightly to himself, about himself, in french, ah vanity, one of his many traits.
He can see the beauty in other things too of course.
He does it a lot.
greet him? We shall see what beauty he finds in you
...
or not~

Prince

He is easy to see, of course, he does not try to hide himself, he has no reason to.
He sits within a sunlit' patch, like a king upon his throne.
Or rather, a Prince, upon his throne.

His chocolate coloured fur is perfectly cleaned, shining even, stripes the colour of fine gold streak his rump daintily.
Atop his head, he even bears a crown, secured upon his head the way other deer bore antlers.

A rope sits coiled between his legs, organized, the other end of the noose is looped about his neck, forever a reminder of his sins.

Servant

He appears to be in a daze, stumbling through the grasses and trees like a zombie, the red string about his neck flickers in the wind, flashing against his long, silky fur, the colour of jet or ink.
His eyes are large, but they are half closed at the moment, adding to the dazed expression.

At last he simply collapses, sitting in a patch of shade, he appears to be in shock. maybe someone should speak to him...

Daywalker

The sun burns high in the sky, beating down relentlessly.
Walking slowly is a deer, no, a deity, hooves light upon the ground, only the tips touch the ground.
it looks delicate, but beautiful, its eyes glimmer like dull stars.
Upon his head large, heavy looking horns, his head is not held up, though it's hard to tell if it's from the weight or not.
the being seems kind, maybe you would like to speak with it.

Nightflier

The veil of the sun, the day, has been wiped away.
A flash of starry sky! the sun trails behind the deity, glowing dim, eyes open, gleaming like stars caught within its head.
Behind it, galaxies stream, brilliant, ever changing mixture of sky and stars.
And it is swift, there's no way a normal deer could keep up.
But a chance! the being stops to rear, tossing its head to the sky before brilliant hooves come crashing down, and it is still.
Quick, now's your chance to talk to it!

"ew, emotions, who needs them" he smiled slightly, words soft and joking.
the wolf came trotting over eagerly, hopping up, with som help from Alaska anyway.
"something about you" he shook his head slowly, watching Juneau happily cuddle against him.

Faunet;

He fell, but caught himself, quickly standing again.
Juneau, freaked out.

The wolf snarled, pouncing at the girl, large jaws snapping wildly at the one who would dare harm his master, friend, and emotional link.

The wolf lounged, jaws coming down upon her leg, yanking with enough bite force to send an elk to its knees.
Alaska made no move to stop the animal, merely watched.
Alaska's emotion's were also Juneau's after all.

Juneau immediatly let go when she did not struggle, returning to Alaska's side, who pet him gently, face an emotionless mask as always.
"there's something here you don't understand" his eyes narrowed a bit, "there are very few, whom can touch the phantom wisps of emotion that are left in me" he lit a cigarette, "you're not one of them" he stated, exhaling smoke as he did so, moving to finally walk away.

"If I didn't have them, I'm pretty sure I would have died a long time ago..." Bartleby sighed in relief when Juneau came over. He ran his fingers through his soft fur, relishing the comforting feel of it. "'Something about me' Are you trying to seduce me again, Alaska?" he asked, his tone more joking than accusing.

Malware could now see that he REALLY wasn't wanted right now. With an annoyed muttering he walked out and slammed the door behind him. Bartleby looked over at the door, then back to Alaska, "I hope he didn't startle you... I probably should have told you about him earlier..." he smiled. "Then again, I never thought that you would be in my home."

Sonata's picture

The state paused, trying to

The state paused, trying to seduce him again?...oddly enough, no, he couldn't even force himself to see the delicate boy sitting before him in that light anymore.
Juneau's ears ticked with the shock Alaska could not, would not show.
"No" he assured, smiling slightly.

"and don't worry, I assure you even that didn't shock me, though, it was a nice almost surprise" he admitted, frowning a bit again.
"had you let me know you were in such a condition earlier, we could have had you back before you passed out" his smile returned.

((oh jeez I've had that happen on my laptop, it makes me go; ;O; ))

(I kno, rite? ;-;

(I kno, rite? ;-; )

Bartleby, rather than using Juneau as a point of interest, now looked right at Alaska. He was in his home now, his domain, his 'kingdom', if you will. All feelings of stress and nervousness were cast aside. "I'm sorry... I only really pass out when I'm stessed." he leaned on the wolf for support. "I guess being outside was too much for me, Malware was right..." he frowned a little at this.

"I'm glad he didn't scare you... So many people come up to the door only to run away screaming when they see him." he chuckled at this. "It's amusing... but not very good for buisness."

Sonata's picture

"no, you just need to take it

"no, you just need to take it slower, and make sure you have someone who won't run off" he frowned, shaking his head slightly.
"maybe you need to get someone new to begin answering the door for you" he half joked, "so that at least they get into the house before they run off screaming"

Juneau merely sighed in content as he was leaned upon, tail wagging slowly, almost lazily behind him.
GingerNut's picture

Bartleby flinched a bit at

Bartleby flinched a bit at that remark. "No, he probably got lost... He dosen't know the city that well and he can't even read to begin with..." he laughed a little at this. "And he would be too stubborn to ask for directions..." he nodded a little, almost as if he were assuring himself. "He's just an idiot."

He chuckled a little. "It's a bit of a rare treat to see him answer the door. He dosen't do it all that often, and I tell him not to, but I think he enjoys seeing people's reactions to him." he watched the wolf's tail move back and forth, almost hypnotized by it.

Sonata's picture

"to be stubborn is a

"to be stubborn is a dangerous thing" he warned with a soft laugh.
"I've known my share of idiots, hm, seems that could describe most of the world though"

"oh? I feel honored then" he laughed lightly.

(Ah, Wii... we meet

(Ah, Wii... we meet again...)

"You would know more than I would... I don't know that many people." he sighed sadly. "I'm only stubborn when I need to be, like any normal person, I guess..."

He laughed. "I don't know why you would be, Malware can get angry pretty quick." His eyes suddenly widened. "He didn't try to attack you, did he?" he asked

Sonata's picture

((XDDD)) "maybe that's best"

((XDDD))

"maybe that's best" he said softly.
"The deer?" he hadn't attacked him per say, but he had also only been reacting as any would seeing a friend hurt, best to layer over the truth just a bit.

"no, no, he was a bit surprised, but he didn't attack me" he smiled at his expression, "he seems to care for you, very much"
GingerNut's picture

Bartleby cocked his head in

Bartleby cocked his head in confusion at this. "Why? I wouldn't let them take advantage of me... I've always wanted to meet more people, as much of a mistake that may be."

He smiled. "He's... almost like a father to me... I never really knew my parents all that well." he shrugged, not in the least bit upset by this.

Sonata's picture

"people aren't generally good

"people aren't generally good people...hmm, I suppose most people do crave company..." he laughed softly, "I suppose you would be popular if you got out...hm..." he paused, thinking for a few moments.
"why not simply host something here, where you wouldn't have to worry about getting hurt, a party, or a dance or something of the like"

"my family is so mixed up, I'm not related to any of them by blood anyway hm" he said softly.
GingerNut's picture

Bartleby shivered violently

Bartleby shivered violently at the very thought of having 'outsiders' plagueing his home. "I..." he clutched the wolf, almost as if he was asking for protection. "I don't think I could do that..." he muttered.

"Popular..." he mumbled. "Why would you think something like that?" he asked, a bit surprised at the remark.

He thought about it for a moment. "It sounds it." was all he could say. What else could he say about it?

Sonata's picture

((I feel like the

((I feel like the instrumental music from 'popular' should start playing XD))

he shrugged.
"you see the world for what it is...people usually like that even if they can't see it thmselves" he smiled slightly, watching as Juneau licked the boy's cheek in comfort.
"the problem is, people who see the world like that tend not to want the attention of others"

he shifted to sit on the stained 'bed' though not too close of course.
"strange how the world works sometimes"
GingerNut's picture

(FFFFFFFF.... *dead*) He

(FFFFFFFF.... *dead*)

He smiled a little at Juneau, grateful for the affection. "I guess..." he paused a bit. "...I guess that I'm worried that people might manipulate me."

He blushed in mild embarassment when Alaska sat down. "Sorry... I've been meaning to buy another cot, never gotten around to it." he sighedd. "Even when I'm here I always manage to find ways to hurt myself." he chuckled.

Sonata's picture

"you can't get through life

"you can't get through life without hurting yourself, I know that more than many" he assured, "as for manipulating you...maybe, maybe, people have a bad habit of doing that, you just have to keep someone nearby to help chase them off" he laughed softly, "just make sure you don't let your emotions cloud your judgement..." doing so had ruined his life.

"I'm sure Malware or your stalker could help" he laughed softly, he wanted to call the deer by his pictogram, out of politeness, but of course, you could not pronounce a symbol.
GingerNut's picture

(Bleh... It died

(Bleh... It died again...)

Bartleby just shook his head in reply. "I can't trouble them with something like that..." he murmured softly, twiddling his fingers. "I already trouble them enough as it by getting sick so often..." He suddenly noticed that he wearing Alaska's coat. "Oh!" With shaking hands, he slowly took it off and folded it neatly in front of him.
Sonata's picture

He smiled, "I'm sure it

He smiled, "I'm sure it wouldn't be any trouble" he paused, drumming his fingers upon his lap for a moment, and Juneau's tail wagged quickly, a soft bark leaving him, and Alaska rolled his eyes at the canine.
"I could, if you...wanted" he wanted to punch himself in the head, clearly he needed to be reminded that getting close to people ended badly, especially such frail people as this, something would happen, and, he would hurt him, or the other would die, and then where would he be?
too late now.

He glanced at his coat, not seeming to mind, the building wasn't cold anyway.
GingerNut's picture

Bartleby looked up and stared

Bartleby looked up and stared him in the eyes. "No." he said simply. "You have your own life to live. Immortal or not." his voice was trembling. He wasn't going to be selfish, he already had two people that loved him and helped him, why waste someone else on his behalf?

"You wouldn't even have long with me anyway." he whispered, almost too softly. "How could I take a few years to get to know you, only to die the day after?"

Sonata's picture

"a few years without sex and

"a few years without sex and salf harm won't kill me" he smiled, "besides, how could I walk away when you make me feel" he didn't give an emotion, because, he could not, and he didn't need to, the sentance could easily end there.

"even knowing I'll be sad when you die is something, is it not?" he paused, "for something like me, a few years is just the blink of an eye...my time would hardly be wasted." he glanced down.

"but something tells me that if you told me you really wanted me gone, I would listen" he smiled, "if you told me to jump off a bridge, I would probably listen"
So, was this how he had felt when he found him? the one who had cared for him, when he was small, something to protect, to keep loneliness at bay? simply something, that would not forget him.

He supposed so but then, he may never truly understand.
GingerNut's picture

He was trembling. God, why

He was trembling. God, why did he have to go outside? "I feel so selfish..." he mumbled sadly. "How could I force you to leave? That would be selfish of me as well..." He leaned against the wall, letting it support him.

"I have no right to rob you of something that you want to be near, in this case it's me." he smiled lightly. "I don't want you to leave, but I don't want you to waste your time on me either. I'm not all that worth it." he laughed a little at this.

Sonata's picture

"it's not selfish if it

"it's not selfish if it benefits both sides" he looked up at the ceiling.
"there is, a certain type of bird" he mused aloud, "which lays its eggs in the nests of others, their chiks hatch first, and toss the other eggs from the nest, and so, they get more food" he blinked slowly, "that is selfish" another pause.

"there is another bird...who lives in groups...one female lays eggs, which are born undernourished" he smiled, "when they hatch, they all work together to bring extra food...and next season, a different female lays eggs, and the others help" he looked over to the boy.
"that is not selfish"

GingerNut's picture

Bartleby thought about this.

Bartleby thought about this. "I know your right. An interesting way of putting it. But you are right." he smiled brightly.

He thought about the possiblities. "Jergens isn't going to like this at all..." a small giggle managed to escape him. "I could care less though, it's not like he would just leave."

He looked at him seriously now. "If you really think that you'll benefit from watching me wither away to nothing, then by all means."

Sonata's picture

he smiled. "he won't be able

he smiled.
"he won't be able to say anything to hurt me anyway" he said softly, laughing a bit.

"I suppose I'm hoping, that even if I lose you...that the mark you've left, that you're leaving...will stay"
GingerNut's picture

"If you say so..." he sighed,

"If you say so..." he sighed, his body beginning to wind down. He had went through a lot today.

"Don't try and sugercoat it though. It's not 'if', it's 'when'." he shook his head. "I don't need another person to try and shield me from it, or give me any false hopes."

Sonata's picture

"I don't sugarcoat

"I don't sugarcoat anything...it's a force of habit, I'm not used to being around people that would die...only those who would leave." he smiled.
"but they say worrying is bad for your health" he chided playfully.

GingerNut's picture

"It's all the same, isn't

"It's all the same, isn't it?" he asked, a small yawn escaping him. "You know, you're starting to sound like Malware..." he smiled weakly. A sudden thought came to him.

"Do you..." he braced himself, he had never asked anyone this before. "Do you believe in an afterlife?" he asked, trying to force to keep his eyes open. Now why would he ask that? Maybe he knew... he wasn't human, maybe he knew more about them than they did themselves.

Sonata's picture

"the afterlife?" there was

"the afterlife?" there was very little hesitation.
"yes" he laughed softly at the fist statement at last.

"maybe my years are catching up to me" he leaned back against the wall, moving closer to the other when he saw he was yawning, not taking advantage of him, but he didn't want the other to hurt his back sleeping sitting up.

"you may sleep if you wish, I won't leave"
GingerNut's picture

He smiled at that, a bit

He smiled at that, a bit reassued. He personally had his doubts, but it was nice to see that someone higher up than he did truly believe in it. There was nothing to say regarding it.

He was grateful for the support. Only a few hours earlier the state was considered a threat to him, but now it seemed he put as much trust in him as he did with Malware or Jergens. His eyelids felt heavy. "Malware should be outside... you know... you don't have to stay right in here..." and with that he dozed off. He was the type fall into deep sleep rather quickly, and it was always hard to wake him when he did.

Sonata's picture

"well if he wants to talk he

"well if he wants to talk he shall have to come in here" he mumbled, gently moving the other so he could lay down, head in his lap.
He dozed off slightly, but he wouldn't truly fall asleep, a small smile set upon his expression.
Juneau, sound asleep beside the blond, wagged his tail idley in his sleep.
GingerNut's picture

Malware was dozing himself,

Malware was dozing himself, swaying his weight back and forth to keep himself awake. He perked up an ear... hm, seems they weren't talking anymore. He hadn't exactly overheard anything out of malice, he was just making sure his Master was safe. As he began to truly fall asleep himself a sudden flurry of running footsteps made him snap back awake, fully alert. An all-too familiar voice filled the corriders. "Malware?! Where the hell are ya?!" Ah yes, the Jergens cometh. Malware heaved a great sigh and watched as a tall, curly haired man came charging at him at full speed. "Oh thank god... There you are. I can't find Faith..." he gasped, a bit exasperated. Malware, not really feeling up to beating Jergens's head against the wall, just sighed and pointed his muzzle to the door. "A nice man brought him back after he had a bit of a fainting spell." He conveniently left out the part about the wolf. Why bother telling him about it? Jergens never payed attention to him anyway.

Jergens, himself, on the other hand, eager to see Bartleby and quite frankly not giving a damn if he was sleeping or not, wrenched open the door was greeted to the curious sight. Time seemed to stand still for him. He looked at the man, then Faith, the man again, and finally the wolf. A dog. He stiffened at the sight of it. God he hated dogs...

(......Hey, I couldn't think of anything better to write. 0-o Sorry...)

The small pure white doe

The small pure white doe wandered over to the Crimson Captain, pale blue cat eyes fixed upon him as her blood soaked ribbon trailed behind her . it was tied in a rather pathetic bow it like she had been in a hurry to get some where. or away ...

she did not say any idiotic greeting she just flopped down next to him and nuzzled her head close to his heaving a great sigh as she looked up at him with soft eyes. her tail wagging side to side in a rythmic fashion. she looked to be quite happy. infact she looked rather exstatic about something.

a knot grew in her stomach. she looked to the side shyly before she spoke. her voice was soft like wind chimes. “Hey...Amsden...?" she looked up at him nuzzling under his chin. "If i told you a secret...would you promise to keep it?...” she asked hiding her head shyly in the blood stained ribbon that she had recieved as a gift.

Alaska looked up quickly at the noise, eyes flaring a most brilliant pink-red in his annoyance, Juneau's head raising, Alaska's emotions taking him for a moment, lips pulling over his teeth in a soft growl before laying down again.

The state cocked his head a bit, eyes returning to 'normal' if you could call it that.
"I assume you're Master Faith's...stalker?" he smiled slightly.

"you're rather a poor guardian" he stated bluntly.
"I'm Alaska" he added, and, glancing at Juneau.
"don't mind him he won't bite"

Luji;

The crimson stag raised his head, nuzzling his love back gently, giving her a small lick upon the cheek.

Jergens had seen many things in his life. Many, many things. But he never seen something so frighting, bizarre and rage-inducing such as this. Was he angry? Um, yeah. Here he had living three months with Faith, trying everything he could to get him to warm up to him, and here he is with some other guy in the most... painfully awkward position he could imagine. And you know what was worse?

There was a fucking dog

Needless to say he nearly pissed himself in fear when the... dog... snarled at him. He still couldn't find words to speak, he was dreaming, right? Faith was seriously not having his way with another guy right? It was all too horrible...

He wouldn't dare take another step forward, the dog prevented him well enough for storming over to wring that prissy bastard's neck. Instead he grinned, a nice, unnerving grin that reached ear to ear. and in his sweetest, most polite (if you can call it that) voice, simply said.

"Who the hell do ya think you are?"

(Oh Jergens, your manners inspire me...)

Sonata's picture

Alaska merely tilted his

Alaska merely tilted his head.
So, this man was trying to unnerve him?
he didn't seem to like Juneau, did he.

he laughed softly, Juneau sitting up and staring at Jergens, jumping to the floor, tilting his head in time with his master.

"Alaska Ethan Micheal Petrov" he said slowly.
"and this is Juneau, my wolf" Juneau's tail thumped once.

"I'm Faith's....emotional, guardian you could say" he stated, brushing his hair back, moving to pull his coat over the blond boy, hood lightly over his ears so their talking wouldn't wake him up easily.

((gods me too XD<3))

Keep the cool Jergens, keep

Keep the cool Jergens, keep the cool... Okay... yeah right. This man was getting closer to Faith than he had in an entire month of trial and error. Well, that was just ridiculous, now wasn't it? It was so obviously a dream. He decided to play along.

"Yer just tryin' to piss me off, aren't ya?" he asked, the grin plastered on his face never leaving him. "Why are calling him by his first name?" he asked. He knew that Faith still hated it when he called him that (or at least it seemed).

There were so many questions running through his head. Dreams did that to ya, didn't they? "You know, I must admit, yer the first person I've ever met that I've hated literally by first sight." he flinched when the dog jumped down.

Oh my god... damn dogs

Sonata's picture

"I have permission from Faith

"I have permission from Faith himself to call him that" he stated simply, laughing softly "I don't go out of my way to make anyone hate me, I don't have the emotional capacity to care" he licked his lips, what an interesting day this was turning out to be!

"am I so easy to hate?" he questioned, playing with a lock of the sleeping boy's blond hair.
"I can assure you, I've no interest in seducing your boyfriend here, not anymore anyway"

"I would be careful about getting on my bad side...you see, Juneau is the...person, which I share my emotions with. if I hate you" he motioned to the wolf, who tossed his head a bit, as if agreeing.

"I'm afraid I won't have the will to keep him away from you"

(Know this, Wii... I shall master you...)

Jergens, being the kind and understanding individual that he was, promptly freaked out. Mentally, of course... Visibly flipping out over something wasn't his style.

Rationality wasn't part of Jergens's style either. "I'm sorry, but how did you expect me to react to some random stranger waltzing in and seeming to get closer to first base than I have in an entire month." Well... Not really... Sex disturbed Jergens more than a bit to begin with.

But he was Jergens.

And Jergens was an idiot.

Alaska proptly laughed again.
"try as you may you're not gong to be rid of me so quickly" he tipped his head, Juneau doing the same.
"you see, for once in my too-long life, I don't feel te need to go out and get laid, or harm myself, or smoke, or drink" he glanced down at faith.

"he's the...excuse the irony, healthiest link I have, to m humanity" he smiled, "you won't be getting rid of me anytime soon"

A hand shifts up, moves glasses, settled once again.
The warm smell of coffee filled the air, soft sweet scent of pastries, and the chime of classical music.
Twenty two years old, and working on earning his bachelor's degree in college.
Not bad.

He adjusted his glasses again, flipping a page in the large textbook that lay in front of him, long white hair tied back into a ponytail, soft gray-purple streaks running through the crisp whiteness of it all.
His eyes were a soft gray as well, with the smallest amount of purple flicked through them

His ears were pierced surprisingly heavily for someone who otherwise seemed like the type who would be a very straight edge.
The other strange thing, were the butterflies.
One, sharp black, spotted gently in bright purple, tattooed upon his cheek.

another, hidden by his jeans, purple, dotted in black, lay upon his hip, soft dotted lines ran hidden around his leg leading down to a purple flower upon his ankle.
If he were to remove both the long sleeved lavender-gray coat, and the white shirt beneath it, one would see the lines upon his back, and if one were to look carefully, one would see how, if those lines were unfurled, they might make the pattern of a pair of butterflies wings

He reached up to toy with one of the bars through his ears, before allowing his hand to fall again and flip the page gently, lost in his studies so it seemed.
