Yes, go ahead! ^^
A shadow appeared over the
Elijah shook his rack around to dislodge some pieces of moss that had settled upon them. He had just recently rubbed off the rest of his velvet, which left his antlers in top form.
Scars blanketed the stag including, long scratches along his shoulders and one one side of his neck, three gashes over his back and finally a large bite mark on his back ankle.
The stag waded out into the water, sitting down so his legs and most of his body could soak in the cool water. On a hot day, this was his retreat.
(sorry for late reply! My
A scarlet-colored doe was collecting feathers for her peacock feathered "crown" that arched around her. Tenderly, she'd hold the feathers in her mouth by their stems. Lifting her neck, she shook her pelt of the bits of dust and gave a sigh. The heat rained down mercilessly on her pelt. As she flicked her whispy tail, she looked to the lake, deciding to take a break from her feather-collecting. Past the long, hairlike branches of a willow tree that scooped across the fresh ground, she spotted a stag wading in the water.
She set down the feathers at the foot of the tree and cautiously approached the stag. Her steps were silent and slow. Her hooves got a few inches in water, as well as her long tail. The slight breeze ruffled her feathers as she humbly lowered her head to the stag and stopped a few feet away from him. Her golden orb-like eyes widened with concern as she saw his scars.
"H-hello?" she said, her voice like a strong ring of chimes. "I couldn't help but notice you were here alone... and I saw your wounds. I have a remedy, would you allow me to help?"
Elijah turned his head, drops
His voice was quiet and soft when he spoke, and most of all, polite. He got to his feet from where he sat to get a better look at the smaller doe.
"I am Elijah. And you are?"
The petite doe took a few
She echoed the name in her head- e l i j a h - it was different, she liked it. "I'm called differently to each person... You can call me whatever you like. I'm most commonly known as Auburn."
"Auburn..." he whispered,
The stag put a soft smile on his face, a friendly smile. "I am grateful that you would come over to see my scars. That's very caring of you."
He raised his head to the side suddenly, hearing thunder in the distance. That could mean only one thing. A storm was on it's way. "Sounds like a storm is headed this way."
Auburn blushed at his
"Hmm... Follow me." With that, she trotted out of the water, flicked her tail to brush away the excess water, and trotted to the bridge that went over the crevasse. She paused, waiting for him there.
Elijah turned his head,
His gray-blue eyes were locked on the storm clouds as he followed the doe, though he knew storms did not do much to this magical forest.
Together they clip-clopped
The tiny doe padded out and began to bloom and brighten the flowers that surrounded the Great Oak. She would breathe on them, her breath like steamy mist, that breathed life into the flowers. Their petals would brighten with life and raise ever so slightly higher. She also made the grass slightly greener. Once she was done, everything smelled sweet and fresh. At last, Auburn joined Elijah in the Oak hollow.
He followed her easily and
"That is such an interesting ability. You can bring things to life?"
Elijah was genuinely interested in this. He had heard of deer in the forest having unique abilities, but he had never heard of this kind of ability. The stag seated himself inside the hollowed out tree, where he proceeded to to shake his head around so that his neck would dry off. His neck had the thickest fur on his body, almost like an Elk's would.
The small doe lied down
"The Gods created me, giving me the purpose to take care of the flowers and trees of this forest," She explained. "I am called The Oak Guardian, because I bloom flowers all around here and make this place as beautiful as possible. But I also spend my time going around the forest to keep the flowers alive and bloom new ones. All I have to do is breathe..."
Auburn then lowered her neck low to the ground. Out of nearly nothing, she breathed on the bare earth, a green stem breaking through the dirt surface and stretching up a few inches, and finally finishing with a little pink blossom. All within the course of a few seconds.
Elijah listened silently,
He watched her grow the flower from where she sat and a smile slipped onto his face as he leaned down, pressing his nose to it and inhaling its amazing aroma.
Another rumble of thunder outside. And then a flash of lightning. As the forest grew darker with the thick grey clouds over it, the candles on Elijah's antlers sparked to life as they always did when it got dark. Small flames now danced on the tiny candles that sat among his tines.
The doe gave a silent nod of
She glanced upwards to him and saw the candles flickering in the darkness. They lit up the sides of the hollow. Auburn could already see the wax beginning to melt. She could feel the heat already.
"I like your antlers," she said with a smile and she rested her head on his shoulder.
(I have to go now, and won't be back on for a while. But I will reply later on asap! c:)
Elijah snorted as another
The candles did offer some good light in the hollow tree. The stag lowered his head to look the doe in the eye. "Well, thank you very much miss. I tried very hard to grow these." A grin slid over his face as he placed his head upon the ground in front of her so the candles would offer some warmth.
The little doe snuggled in
After a bit of silence, she asked him, "So how did you enter this forest? You seem quite new.."
As a rain drop hit his ear,
"I wish I could tell you, Auburn, but I do not even know how I got here. I just awoke here. Of course, I was a fawn when that happened. This forest really is something magical."
The small doe was like a fawn compared to his size so having her beside him made him feel good. Welcoming.
Auburn nodded
"Ah, I see. That is how most newcomers arrive, unless they have a mother and father... Did you have any parents?"
Elijah considered the
"Well, I have to have come from somewhere. But I never knew my parents, that I can remember anyway."
The stag stared outside into the storm, seeing various deer run by to seek shelter elsewhere. A couple drops of water hit his flank which made him flinch each time.
Auburn nodded again. Her
The petite doe was curious, and could not picture such a polite and kind stag as the fighting sort.
( :0 bump?)
(I apologize for being so
(Oh, new job! That's awesome
I'd love my Beauregaurd to

Elijah looked at the doe beside him, moving his head to get a good look at some of the scars before taking a deep breath in.
"I was in a large battle at Dandelion Hill. Creatures attacked me while I was trying to save a friend of mine. These scars are well worth her safety."
It was cloudy outside. That
Once he was out of sight, he ran and jumped, landing approxamatly six miles away from where he jumped. He did it again and again, until he reached somplace cold and nature-y. He was near a moutain range but not quite. He loved place like this.
He landed on a tree, hopping down to sit by a large tree trunk, yet still on a branch. His blonde hair fluttered a bit in the wind. Blue, cloudy like eyes stared off in the distance longingly. He was listening.
"Hello?" He questioned, knowing there was someone somewhere around here.

err. i hope that's okay to work with xD
(Welcome to the RP! xD)
Auburn nodded to Elijah, however before she could ask another question, she heard a faint voice at a distance. She froze and looked out, ears upright and wide, taking in all of the sounds of the rain, hoofsteps, and the rustling of tree branches. Auburn stood up poked her head out of their little den.
"Did you hear that?" she asked the stag, still observing the outside. "I heard... someone..."
Elijah quickly got to his
"Stay here. I'll be right back."
The large stag moved out of the giant Oak, and off in the direction that the voice was coming from. As he moved though, he felt a tingling in his feet. He didn't realize it, but by the forest's magic, he had been turned into a human. So he could speak with the other male.
"Hello?" He called out quietly, the other male finally coming into view.
Beauregaurd shifted his head
He flipped off his tree, spinning around to face this new guy. "I'm Beauregaurd. It's a pleasure." He dipped into a slight greeting bow, his blue hoodie and black jeans clinging to his slender frame.
Auburn stood there, alone, in
Growing more and more worried, Auburn stood up and frantically looked around for Elijah. She padded a few steps forward before calling his name. "Elijaaaaah!"
Without getting a reply, she ran a bit further into the forest. "Elliiiijaaaahh! Help me! Help the flowers!"
"Hello, I am-" He was cut
He was cut off by the crying sounds of the doe that he had sat with, Auburn. He immediately turned his head in her direction.
"I am over here, Auburn!"
Turning to the man next to him, he simply nodded his head quickly and then raced back through the forest towards the calling doe, the forest changing him back to a large stag. When he arrived at her side, he tried to comfort her with soft words.
"Maybe you should try after the storm is over. They will come back, I promise. But I will shield the ones I can, with my body."
(Decided I would throw Faye in to rp with Beau. c: As to not interrupt anything.)
As soon as the other male disappeared, a girl walking down a path through the forest, caught sight of Beauregard. She moved to walk towards him, a smile alighting her face as she greeted him with a small bow.
"Hello! I'm Faye. And you are?"
Beauregaurd tilted his head
"Hello, madame. I am Beauregaurd." He sighed as he had to once more jump down off the tree to bow slightly. "What're you doing out here in the forest all alone? Isn't it a bit, hmm.. Dangerous?" He raised his eyeborws, grinning mischeviously then laughing, walking toward her.
The doe looked up worriedly
@Kas: Faye tilted her head as
"It's a pleasure to meet you."
@Bayleen: Elijah stood over Auburn and as many plants as he could. Int he process he was becoming soaking wet, but he just shook it off. Other people came before himself.
"I'll be just fine, my dear. And if I catch one, it's just a cold."
A smile crossed his face as he looked down at her.
Auburn nuzzled the side of
"You're very kind," she said with a smile as she looked up at him. Then she glanced down at the flowers and giggled. "The flowers think you are too."
Beauregaurd found her
