~~~~~~Deer-RP~~~~~~
Redd
It was a lovely day in the forest.
The sunlight flitted down through the canopy, onto the calm, neutral frame of a young stag of slight bulk, laying by himself in a small ray of sunlight. He was peaceful, having just woken up from his usual spot between the two young trees in front of the Great Oak. He smiled serenely to himself, welcoming the new day, embracing it... no matter what might happen.
He sighed to himself.
"A-another day approaches..."
Raleigh
The white stag sighed.
The sun overhead was at its peak, blaring down upon his snowy coat unforgiving, like the very glare of the Twin Gods who had, on several occasions, attempted to show this very particular stag who was the boss.
He snorted a dry chuckle.
(Little do they know, I follow only one "boss")
Still, the sun was annoying him a great deal - a valid attempt by the two! - making him seek the shade, traversing through the woods, seeking some place calm, cool, shady and preferably slightly moist.
The playground would be a good place for that...
Crire
Music...
How he longed for it...
Even as the shadows grew long in the early dusk, the sun setting, bathing the forest and the old ruins in flames of orange and bright red, Crire could think of nothing but his beloved violin and how he was unable to play it as he was now.
Gritting razor-sharp teeth, he turned his head to the heavens, those burning, bleedin' heavens and let out a howl of rage and pain, directed at all those high-and-mighty angels who'd seen it fit to strip him of everything that was him.
He huffed as his outburst ended, standing petrified, neck and head hanging low, torn, useless wings quivering as not-quite-healed wounds started aching again.
"To hell with you... TO HELL WITH YOU ALL!" He bellowed, his voice full of rage and fury, carrying all over the until now so quiet forest...
Dorian Bucks
Trembling... Shaking...
There were so... so many!
All around him, drawing closer, hunting him...
The shadows he had experienced at Willowhill Asylum were still chasing him, keeping just at the edge of his sight, intangible, invisible, but still so terrifyingly close!
He bucked, lashing out with trembling hind-legs, hitting nothing, the wind rushing in the trees, the sound of hooves getting closer, a shadow past the full, round moon, something touched his leg!
Yelping, the purple stag jumped forward, running, fleeing... until clumsy hooves snagged on an exposed root, landing him face-first into the blue bowl.
There he stayed still, trembling, ears flat against his deformed head, working, yellow eye wide, staring into the closing darkness...
...
He was alone...
Or was he?...
Trixzie stuck her head up in
Trixzie stuck her head up in the air and let out a mrrrraw of laughter. "Oh, you silly scared little creature." She said, tauntingly. "You, dear, I believe have nothing to fear, but then again this is me talking, not my dragon self."
Through her skull mask hr eyes squinted in amusement and she drew in closer. "Tell me why do you fear so easily? You were frightened before I even fell upon you." Trixzie turned her back to him and made her way to the tree about two yards away. "Don't try to run away now, we don't want my dragon self slipping out of me again now do we?" She rubbed her side on it allowing her scent to spill upon the tree.
Jerking in fear and eyes
Jerking in fear and eyes widening, Dorian felt himself so very captured by malevolent powers... again. Geezus, this'd be, what, the fifth time this week?...
Giving a small whimper and following after her slowly, hesitantly, he kept his head low as he went. He posed no threat what so ever. He liked to emphasize this.
"Why wouldn't I? Being sc... careful has kept me alive so far... It's a good strategy." He said, not even fooling himself. He was a multi-phobic by nature, no way to change that. But it was true, it'd kept him alive so far... It had kept him fast and alive. He'd even grown to like his fear for this.
----------------edit-------------------
D'aww, thanks, z.m123! >w<
Trixzie turned her head to
Trixzie turned her head to him, her eyes still glowing. "Fear only makes you a target," She said, seriously for once and not flirtily, "it's as simple as that." Trixzie quickly shook herself, she had just tlked to him as if he were a friend of hers, and she had to shake that attitude off of her.
"Anyways, fear only makes you weak and weakness is a sign for predators to attack you." She said, her voice once again menipulative and slow like. She smirked at his pose. "You don't hav to show you're a wimp yo know!" She declared unliking his posture at all. She walked up to him till she was standing infront of him.
"Keep your head high," she ordered, "the least you can do is act as if you have confidence." She said and turned away from him once again.
Chickenwhite's picture
"Heh... confidence?... what's
"Heh... confidence?... what's that?..." he said, only partially joking, since he'd never felt confident in his entire life... still, he straightened up, if only to widen the distance between the two. His ear was still flat again his head, his eyes fearful, but at least he had a better posture. At least.
But The tone she'd just used... It made him curious... there'd been something almost... caring about it...
frowning, he for once looked like he wasn't a nervous wreck.
"But... why do you care?..." he asked, sounding honest, even polite... like he actually cared too.
Trixzie, now standing back by
Trixzie, now standing back by the tree, looked at him, her eyes not quite glowing with amusment anymore, though she kept it wth her posture as if she was. SHe shrugged, "Do you honestly think I'm the only one who will pick on you?" She asked, trying to make her voice a taunt. "Pfft, people pick on me, even when I'm in dragon form. Don't you know how much more so they will do to you?"
Trixzie once again walked over to him. "Your posture still needs to be better." She said impatently. "Irrect your ears and please make it atleast look like you're not scared." She let out a huff.
Chickenwhite's picture
Quite astounded by her
Quite astounded by her demands, Dorian could not help but follow them, like a well-trained dog, though being in a self-confident pose was so incredibly alien to him, he couldn't help but tremble.
"I'm kinda used to being picked on by now, actually... running usually works, though!..." he tried in his meagre defence, though he could already hear how much of a pussy that made him sound like... Why did he even care? It's not like this doe was ever gonna find him again once they parted, after all.
Though she probably could.
She probably would...
She was definitely gonna find him again...
Trixzie coudln't help but
Trixzie coudln't help but luagh at his words. "Running away is for spineless does, you aren't a doe nw are you?" She taunted. She knew this would trigger something inside the male, and she wanted to see exactly how far that taunt could take him. She ruffld her wings on her back so they would blend in more with her pelt, and she peerd at him through slitted eyes, she was daring him to do something.
Chickenwhite's picture
And a reaction was exactly
And a reaction was exactly what she got.
Instantly, Dorian's eyes went from listlessly frightened to infuriated and strangely desperate, his posture improved as if by magic. He even managed to look just slightly threatening...
"I'm not a doe!!" He shrieked at her, unconvincing and shrill, though there was a rare fury in his mismatched eyes...
Trixzie let out another mrrra
Trixzie let out another mrrra of laughter, this was exactly the reaction she wanted out of the male.
"That's it!" She said happily, her eyes once again gleaming. "I'm sure you can do better, though." She said in her challenging voice again. "Come, come." She said, as she hopped over a log and into the bushes where it lead to a clearing. SHe didn't have to say 'don't run away,' she knew he'd follow, because if the male didn't he'd be quickly tracked down by her dragon self.
Chickenwhite's picture
Realizing this as well,
Realizing this as well, Dorian let his rage guide him for now, running after the insolent doe and quickly catching up, having damn-near the fastest hooves a small deer could have.
His eyes were shooting lightning at her from their sunken-in sockets, fur standing on end, making him look close to reasonably-sized, even. He actually wasn't un-impressing when angered, at least compared to his normal, scared, little self.
Snorting and stomping the ground, he looked like he was ready to attack at any moment.
"Bring it, scaly." he sneered through gritted teeth. Wow, he was easy to piss off...
Trixzie couldnt resist
Trixzie couldnt resist smiling at this male, her eyes were squinted irrasistbly. "Hmm hmm hmm, aren't you the little stag." She said, nodding. She took in a deep breath. "Now, what I'm going to do is test you." She said turning her back to him, and turning her head towards him. "Understand?" She turned away once again. "Now, what I'm about to do may scare you, but don't let that hatred slip away from you." she said, taking in a deep breath.
Chickenwhite's picture
Still, Dorian stood still
Still, Dorian stood still where he was, scraping the ground and giving annoyed throws of his scarred head, looking like a small, fluffy ball of rage. A ball of rage who wasn't gonna give up or back down.
"Hmph! Just bring it!" He hissed at the dragon-doe, for the moment having completely forgotten his numbing fear and common sense of not picking fights with supernatural beings.
"All right..." she said
"All right..." she said softly, closing her eyes. THe forest layed silent for a moment, and she opened her eyes, her eyes now red and her mouth steaming. She flipped around and let out a hiss that sent all the animals in the forest skidding away and she flipped her wings up and blew smoke out of her mouth. (This is a perfect test to see if he really is standing up for himself.) Trixzie thought to herself.
"Come on, girlie," she threatoned, "attack me, that is, if you're not to doe to do it." She knew how badly this would anger him, and he needed that anger if he wanted to stick up for himself.
Chickenwhite's picture
His heart nearly stopping at
His heart nearly stopping at the terrifying display, Dorian was momentarily incredibly close to just let dragon-doe be dragon-doe and run the hell away... but that comment was enough to put him back into full rage-mode, body itching to get some hurting done, a snort and an angry scrape suddenly summoning a bony skull-helmet of a giant bird on his head, before he suddenly and very unexpectedly rushed forward, faster than what was probably healthy, making a turn just before frontal impact, only to twist his body and ram directly into her side, skull-first.
It wasn't very powerful, but the speed and the hard bone ensured it was felt.
Trixzie let out a huff as the
Trixzie let out a huff as the air was momentarily knocked out of her. She quickly regained herself and flapped her wings and took off into the air for a second and then swooped down and grabbed the male with her hooves. "Now your showing a rough side!" She shrieked excitedly as she stayed only a foot above the ground, "just don't get too ahead of yourself now!" she yelled over her wings beats.
She hoovered over the ground before setting the male down and landing herself. Her eyes were now gold again and the smoke was gone, as well as her wings being tucked in to herself again. "Now do you know what the rush of fighting is all about?" Trixzie asked, more curiously than tauntingly.
Chickenwhite's picture
Though the sudden physical
Though the sudden physical contact seemed to have knocked some sense back into the purple buck.
He was trembling and gasping, having struggled to his feet as soon as he could, feeling like his entire body was over-run by poisonous spiders.
Shaking his head to clear it and swallowing with difficulty, he turned his gaze to Trixzie yet again, giving a small, dazed, almost shameful nod.
He'd fought before, no doubt, but the rush of rage was an uncommon thing for him... He was used to cold chills, not boiling blood, after all.
"Oh, what are you shaking
"Oh, what are you shaking about!" Trixzie asked, walking closer to him and looking at him up and down. "You don't have any new wounds, you're fine." She read his eyes.
"There is nothing to feel bad about for attacking when you're taunted, but you should be feeling bad for all the times you allowed those stags get away with picking on you." She said, trying to show him the justice in his anger. "You see what you accomplished when you attacked me? Felt good when you got me back right?" SHe asked, nodding while she spoke she once again turned her back to him and trotted in a circle around him. This knd of action always got Trixzie riled up, and she was now in a playful mood.
Chickenwhite's picture
Swallowing in between his
Swallowing in between his pathetic, wheezing gasps for breath, Dorian just managed to stutter "I... Don't... d-don't like being touched...", as if it explained everything. Still, he soon caught his breath.
"Yeah... felt great... But I still lost. Fighting never solved anything... not for me..." he said in that streetwise Jersey-accent. He'd picked a bit too many fights he couldn't win... obviously, else how would he have ended in such a miserable physical state?...
"YOu don't lik being
"YOu don't lik being touched?" Trixzie asked tauntingly, still trotting around him, "you are a strange creature, you know that right?" She continued to trot the circles but added more swag to it as she continued, "Yeah, of course you lost!" She said, holding back a laugh. "You don't choose fight against dragons, plus this was only a practice fight to get you ready for any fights that are actually serious."
Chickenwhite's picture
Giving a belittled and
Giving a belittled and offended frown, Dorian never let the doe out of his sight as she circled him like a hungry wolf... a simile which scared him quite a bit... So, naturally, one he chose not to think about.
"But it's always been like that!... I can't fight, I never could... I always lose, no matter what..." he said, feeling his short burst of courage shrink away into nothing yet again, leaving him with nothing but a slightly numb forehead as he sneezed his helmet away.
It was good for protection, but too much in the way generally.
Trixzie knew what she had to
Trixzie knew what she had to do. She dashd next to him rubbing his side with hers and continued to circle him, he knew this would upset him. "You must get used to being touched if you want to stick up for yourself." She said, as she lessoned her swag of her trot and begn to be in a staucking like manner. "Take it like a stag."
Chickenwhite's picture
But what then occurred was
But what then occurred was rather unexpected.
Giving a shrill scream at the sudden contact, Dorian kicked out powerfully with his hind legs, missing Trixzie by nary an inch, only to bolt to one side as fast as he could, heading for the blue bowl yet again, a place he could hide while running, at the very least.
Obviously, he didn't just "dislike" being touched.
He was genuine terrified if it.
And in an instance, he was out of sight.
Trixzie's gaze followed the
Trixzie's gaze followed the stag. "Oh you messed up big time." She murmured as her eyes turned red. She let out a terridaptle screech and she puffed smoke out. She unfolded her wings. She powerfully flapped upwards and soared over the male. (I told you not to run...) she shrieked inside her head.
Chickenwhite's picture
But terror had stripped the
But terror had stripped the stag of his common sense for the time being, the sound of the massive flapping wings behind him only making him run faster, seeking cover under trees with dense foliage and in between bushes.
Holy shit, I'm dead! I am so very dead!!... his thoughts raced as he sped across the forest floor, panic having gripped his heart long ago... until a thought made its way into his mind...
Maybe... just maybe the dragon wouldn't hurt him if he didn't run?... maybe she'd lay off if he surrendered... he might be able to explain it with a sudden panic-attack... after all, he wasn't used to being a deer, the instincts were a lot stronger than when he was a human...
Taking a deep breath as he ran out into a wide, open, unavoidable space... And just turned to face the dragon, standing still, looking scared as ever but determined. So very determined.
Now or never!...
(Idiot...) she thought to
(Idiot...) she thought to herself as she saw him pause. Trixzie hissed as she dived in on him, and pushed him over and landed over him as he was on the ground. "You dare try to kick me again, and I will eat you alive." She spat in his face. "I swear to the twin gods I will, and I will burn you crisp making sure you feel every last drop of pain just like I did!" Her smoke was now spewing onto his face and she put her head into the snaking position as she walked away from him, muttering harsh things.
Chickenwhite's picture
Struggling just slightly as
Struggling just slightly as he was pinned down, Dorian just managed to screech a simple "I'm sorry!" before Trixzie stepped away from him, leaving him to gasp for breath on the ground, struggling to get up, the taste of smoke clouding his lunges, making him cough and wheeze for breath. He was... not dead! painful as the pin-down had been, it was nothing he couldn't overcome. He'd been right! -for once in his life, he'd been right!
But what Trixzie said worried him... He didn't quite know why, but it did.
"wait... 'just like you did?'..." he asked, sounding truly concerned... worried about the fuming dragon...
Trixzie snapped her head back
Trixzie snapped her head back and stared dead on at the male. "You don't think I'm evil just to be evil do you?" She spat saying it as if he was stupid. "No one is every 'just mean for fun,' okay?" She hissed. "And wanna know something else? You will nver get anywhere in this world when you don't take revenge, because then people will just push you around and hurt you, and as soon as you have something they want or you cause them fear, their personalities snap."
She blew out more smoke, and she added "You have to get deer, before they get you."
Chickenwhite's picture
But Dorian just frowned...
But Dorian just frowned... looked worried, as he slowly and cautiously stepped closer, ignoring his instincts to flee. Ignoring them big-time.
"Hey... not everyone's like that... true, most peo... deer are, but there are still some... heh, some gullible idiots out there who actually care..." he said with a small chuckle, a rather sweet little smile on his face as he continued stepping closer.
Trixzie growled at Dorian,
Trixzie growled at Dorian, but allowed him to step closer. She was annoyed, but she wasn't going to attack him, only threaton him and taunt him. Her red eyes flashed at him, and steam was streaming out of her skull's nose, mouth, and eye holes. She layed her ears flat and she opened her skull mask, tauntingly.
Chickenwhite's picture
Stopping for only one step at
Stopping for only one step at the sight of the splitting skull, Dorian shook his head slightly, relentlessly moving closer still, though carefully... he didn't want to piss her off any further.
"Hey..." He said carefully.
"You okay?..."
Trixzie squinted her eyes at
Trixzie squinted her eyes at him. "What do you think?" She growled lowely lowering her head. She couldn't help feeling so enraged, that was just how she was do to her being part dragon. Although she was still her dragon self, her eyes were now orange, showing she was in a less killing mood. She turned away from him, a motion that expressed annoyance.
Chickenwhite's picture
Feeling like he was flirting
Feeling like he was flirting with death, Dorian stopped for a while as she turned away from him, though he soon began walking towards her again... but keeping his distance.
"Yeah, good point..." he said in a tender voice, worry clear on his rather ugly face.
"I'm... I'm sorry I ran, y'know..." he said, not used to apologizing at all, at least not heart-felt... he might have gotten out of debt and rape a few times by excusing his own existence and the like, but this time... he really was sorry...
Trixzie's eyes were now gold
Trixzie's eyes were now gold although Dorian had no idea of this because she was turned away from him. "You're lucky I didn't kill you," she said, her voice not much harsh anymore due to her no longer being a dragon. "I easily could have and I don't know why I didn't." She said, her face a frown though her skull mask and her ears were still layed back out of agitation.
Chickenwhite's picture
Giving a small chuckle,
Giving a small chuckle, Dorian took the chance and moved just that little bit closer, giving a quirky, hesitant smile, almost making himself nudge her affectionately.
"Because you don't wanna kill the only gullible idiot you know... -would be my guess." he said with a small chuckle... managing to give her side a friendly nudge with his cheek! Though it was quick. Very quick. And briefer than brief.
Trixzie nearly jumped when he
Trixzie nearly jumped when he touched her affectionately, the only touch she had recieved was through fighting, which was usally hooves and teeth. Trixzie flattened her ears, not aggresively, but quickly put her game face back on. She chuckled, and looked at the male. "Now, what's the most severe battle you've been in?" She asked, knowing this might be vital information on breaking his shell open.
Chickenwhite's picture
Looking down in deep thought,
Looking down in deep thought, Dorian seemed to recall not one but several events... Several painful events.
"I... don't really know... Heh, I've fought for my life so many times and... I can't even remember them now..." He said, having vague flashes of horrid faces, metal and guns, insane laughter and blood everywhere... and... that... puppet... shivering, he tore himself back to reality.
"But I think..." a momentary blush rushed across his face.
"Fighting for my, eh... honour... was an important one..." Ah, yes. The only one he could clearly remember winning to date. It's incredible what a 16-year old boy can do when faced with an over-weight perv with a too-active sex-drive...
Trixzie shook her head,
Trixzie shook her head, "Don't get all weird on me again." She spoke, calmly but firmly. "I think you don't have to learn how to fight, but defense." She said. This male hit a soft spot on Trixzie, he reminded her much of her fawn self, and she was determined to make sure he had a better defensive skills than she had when she was a young fawn.
Chickenwhite's picture
Tilting his head, Dorian
Tilting his head, Dorian simply gave a squeaky snort, summoning his helmet from before, smiling in an almost child-like manner behind it.
"This keeps me safe enough, y'know... it's, uh... I think it's magical..." he said, looking a little insecure, whirring his head slightly. The thing looked old and arcane, alright, but on top of that, like it could fall apart if you stared at it too hard. Still, it HAD packed quite a punch...
Trixzie chuckled, "yeah looks
Trixzie chuckled, "yeah looks quite magical." Trixzie said with sarcasm, a form of joking around in her book. She leaned over to tap her mask on top of his teasingly but quickly with drew her head, knowing he may act out again and she'd turn into her dragon form. "Er..why don't you show me what you do when you get attacked by a stag.." She said taking a step back to allow him to demonstrate.
Chickenwhite's picture
Leaving the poor fellow quite
Leaving the poor fellow quite perplexed as he stood there, feeling very awkward all of a sudden... but soon clearing his throat, looking around in a slightly frantic way.
"Uhm... I usually just, uh... y'know, make sure to face 'em and block 'em with this..." He said, looking about as awkward as he felt. He could hardly demonstrate it, as he mostly just improvised and the helmet did the rest... It was a good helmet. It knew him well and kept his head cool in the heat of battle.
Trixzie couldn't help but
Trixzie couldn't help but laugh at his pose. "Oh, boy, you need some help there boy?" She trotted up to him, but stayed a yard away and stood parallel with him. "When a stag first approaches you, you stand irrect and keep your ears straigt forward, showing you see them." She looked at him and looked at his ears, "and don't put your ears down, that's a sign of weakness, and when I see that in dragon form, I would use that opprotunity to attack."
Chickenwhite's picture
Flinching slightly at the
Flinching slightly at the comparison, Dorian nodded slightly and forced his one remaining ear up, only managing to emphasize how awkward he looked with just a stump of the other one left. Say what you will of his habit of keeping his ears down, at least it made him look somewhat symmetrical.
"Alright... Eh, anything else?..." He asked, still slouching slightly, but trying his best to stand up straight. To his surprise, it actually took off some of the pressure on his exposed spinal chords, helping him relax slightly.
Trixzie veiwed his body, it
Trixzie veiwed his body, it was rather a pathatic version of hers but it'd have to do for now, atleast he had some of it down. "Hmm...we'll cover the rest later I suppose." She said in her slow voice like usual.
"What way do you put your body when your being attacked?" Trixzie asked, referring to if he just ran or if he actually did stay and fight. "What instincts do you have?" She added, knowing it'd probably be the flight instincts that many deer had.
And true enough, after a nervous chuckle, Dorian did not disappoint.
"Running away, of course!..." he said as if this was a given, as if it was unthinkable that he, of all deer, should stay and fight.
Trixzie smiled under her
Trixzie smiled under her skull mask. "I could've guessed that, but the best thing to do is know your enemy...impervise? i suppose. Although this doesn't work on everyone, but it would probably work on me." She said, trying to teach him.
"When you see someone like myself, the worst possible thing you could do is run away, because then you've triggered yourself in my mind as prey." She said nodding. "Do yu know what I mean by 'impervise?'" she asked. Her voice was now no longer a taunting slow voice, but rather a voice talking as if she was teaching an equal, which Trixzie hardly realized how she was talking.
@Pepper: All the while Dorian was looking attentive and alert, his remaining ear standing up from sheer interest now, his under-nourished brain eager to suck in anything anyone could teach him.
"Uhm, study my opponent and find a good way to escape which doesn't involve pain?..." he said, which was generally his usual strategy. He might not have looked it, but Dorian was rather good at finding his opponent's weak spot. Years on the street had taught him well.
