Kinsha trained in the Forest one day, honing in on his ninja skills. He hid behind trees, scanned the area, and moved swiftly and silently. On a particular day, he happened to see something odd in the middle of an open area.

A red velvet cake sat on a plate in a patch of sunlight. Tilting his head, the ninja approached the strange object, sniffing it curiously. "What is this doing here?", he questioned. Inspecting the cake, he was very tempted to taste it, but he shook his head, "No, I must practice my discipline. I will sit here and watch this cake, and maybe I will learn it's purpose here."

So he sat and meditated by the cake. He reflected on the white icing, wondering how it tasted. But he refused to give into temptation.

During this time, Marik trotted by. Stopping, he looked over at the ninja and the cake. "A cake? Is this some kind of trick?", he questioned, and approaching, he asked Kinsha, "Is this your cake? It looks quite good..."

Kinsha shook his head, "It does not belong to me, but...", however before he could finish the statement, Marik had quickly taken a bite out of the cake. Kinsha watched as the other swallowed the chunk of it and wiped his mouth with his leg. "Mmm...a little dry. Oh well...", Marik spoke, and then walked off.

The inside of the cake was now exposed, and Kinsha was more tempted to try it now that someone else had taken a bite. But he waited, now nervous that the owner of the cake would blame him for it having a chunk missing.

At this time Quad noticed the cake there. He approached and bowed to Kinsha, then speaking, "What in the world is this?" Kinsha tried to explain to him what a cake was, but he tilted his head. Looking at the strange human delicacy, his mouth watered. "Just looking at it makes me want to try some. I know this isn't mine but since someone has already eaten some it wouldn't hurt to try a little.", he spoke, and bending down, he ate a piece of the cake as well. The deer became dizzy from an immediate sugar rush and ran off toward the pond to get a drink of water.

Soon after, Ourania approached, and seeing the cake, she immediately had to try some. She wolfed down a bite happily and thanked Kinsha for the delicious treat, even if it wasn't his to give away.

And after that, Kaoori and Wesker both approached and treated themselves to a small piece of the cake. And then Jergens was curious and had a bite of it as well. And then Virgil, Cutlass, Riptail, Ishizu, Ryou, Liam, Nanetta, Woden, Nathaniel, 'Smiling' Jack, Saosin, Sithrim, Crucio, Waarhijd, Lich King, Mufazzal, Zeeze, Illrose, Chestnut, Evania, Dampir, Phylux, and Iuardagnire all came and had a piece of the cake, thanking Kinsha for having a taste of the human world.

Kinsha sat by an empty plate with a few crumbs of cake left on it. He questioned whether he should have had a taste or not.

At this moment, Auriea appeared before him. "Oh hello, Kinsha.", she spoke.

"Hello Auriea. Was this your cake?", Kinsha questioned.

"Yes, it certainly was. Did you enjoy a piece of it?", the god asked him.

The ninja shook his head, "It wasn't mine, so I didn't have any. But many other deer came by and tried it. They all said they enjoyed it."

"Oh...", Auriea spoke at first, "...why didn't you have some? I made it for whoever wanted to try it. It was a gift to the deer of our Forest."

"I...", Kinsha didn't have an explanation. He didn't want to be impolite and eat something that didn't belong to him. Practicing discipline backfired on him here.

Auriea smiled, "It's okay. I understand. Thank you for watching the cake.", she spoke, and at that moment a slice of cake appeared on the plate just for Kinsha. The ninja looked down at the cake for a moment, asking, "Is this for...?", but he soon realized he was alone.

Hesitantly, he walked up to the plate, and picked up the piece of the cake in his mouth.

And he savored every moment of eating it.
