Simply Factual

  • His name is Azazel. He was born of pain, misery and the violence of man. He holds no pleasure in kindness and even less in morality. Do not expect him to be your friend.
  • His body is deadly. His bones are steel, blood of oil and his tongue the deadly metal mercury. To stand too close is to risk your very lifeforce. It is upon this that he feeds.
  • He enjoys your misery. A great pleasure to him is the sight of one running in terror, fleeing the tireless, murderous mirth of this toxic behemoth.
  • He fears little. But one may find sanctuary within water. His body is far too heavy to swim and his one true terror is that of drowning.
  • He changes. Of great misery to this beast is the helplessness he holds with his own form. With damage comes drastic change. Though death is not a thing he fears, lack of being is. He will not end, only cease to be.
  • He is mighty. Vast in size[#15] he holds unquestionable strength but what good is strength without speed? A brutal force lies behind each strike and his attacks are a freight train derailed. With about as much control. Rather than help his size is a hindrance. One must catch if they intend to kill.

On this day...

[09.24.22]
(May miss some things, my sincere apology!)

The day had been passing with little to nothing of interest occurring when he caught an oh, so familiar scent on the wind. He was moving rapidly towards the source before even registering that it was her. The sweet little darling had come back to him! And here he had thought her gone forever.

Moving through the trees, the massive tines of his antlers pulling rough against their bark, he finally broke free enough to see her(Kaoori). She stood, in his view, like a beacon lit in the sun rays of the forest and sick glee rolled over him. "The cow returns!" His voice rolled out in a guttural bellow, wet and grinding. From her stance, she had clearly noticed him and how he loved when she froze in fear. Just long enough for him to press in close, to drag mercury stained jaws against her slight form.

That fear was short lived however as she took to hoof and flew from him. He had forgotten how fast she could run... No matter. Massive hooves tore the earth and he was after her! Like many before her, she used her agility against his clumsier bulk. Her turns too fast, often leaving him crashing through branches and smaller trees, but there was no loss of exhilaration on his part as she escaped him time and time again.

Until she did it, the thing that had often led to his failures before. The blasted bitch hid herself among others. Quite a large group too. He found himself hesitating. He wasn't afraid, no, clearly not. Just...cautious. Especially of one quite large female(Illrose), who's long legs Kaoori had taken as refuge. He wasn't particularly feeling like finding out if the new guardian was a warrior. Truthfully he didn't have to. Various stags and others(") decided they were not too fond of the look of him. Two in particular launching freely to the little doe's defense.

Though charging through and over the two was a thrill of it's own, he knew what was happening. He could not seem to get any closer to his treasure and all of his attempts were beginning to wear him down. Damn the fools were loyal!

He chose the wiser move of patience, trotting away after more than a few gores and tearing hooves into his sides. Not too far though. No, he wanted her to know that he was still there, still watching, still waiting. One of the protectors(?) seemed to take offense to his lurking presence, charging blindly through the trees after him. More than one attack followed, their forms moving in destructive paths before the aggravation overcame him and he loped away yet again.

He continued to lurk, prowling back and forth, irritation at being thwarted growing exponentially until something unexpected caught his eye.

He was being watched, intently, by some strange and predatory female... He paused in his pacing, trying to decide how to take this interesting new development when she moved closer. No sense of self preservation obviously. Well, if she was so curious, he'd give her something to be curious of.

With no couth whatsoever he moved into her space, dragging his side along hers, but she moved away. Her actions almost aggressive and his intrigue grew. She had a delightful scent, a lovely shape. Something, perhaps, to distract the senses from his evident failures before.

He followed, trying to press in close, actions brash, rude and...slightly uncertain. Her attitude confused him, but he liked it. Liked it enough to follow every time she moved away or rebuked his obvious advances. Until she had led him farther away than he had meant to go. What sort of will-o-the-wisp she-devil was this?! He had no idea what she wanted. He could think of a few things he desired, however.

She was moving through tall grasses and up to...another? He paused, realizing then that he was acting far outside of his norm. Witches? He moved from one heavy hoof to another, unsure what he was doing here, though still drawn to the pretty doe.

Pretty doe...Shaking his head and snorting at them both he remembered his entire goal to begin with. The little cow! What was he doing here? He turned, looking back a few more times as he began to make his way back. Was she following? There was a panic under his hide that thrilled through him.

Before distraction came in the form of small and...annoying? Some tiny creature, small and vicious had come upon him with a vengeance. He had no idea where it had come from and took a moment to try and decide whether or not to stomp it. A thing he had no luck in. Blast these quick little nightmares! He tried chasing it away, tried throwing it with his antlers, was pretty sure it might have bit him at one point. "Determined shit aren't you?" He kicked dirt in it's face and moved away. Kaoori damn it! He had plans for his treasure.

Plans that would not be happening. The large female and the others were still present and there she stood, safe among them. Snorting, stomping and screaming obscenities at them seemed to get him nothing but disappointment from the female and annoyance from the rest.

Something kicked at him and he looked down. The tiny pest was back. He gave more than one good attempt at stomping it, growing angrier with every miss. Knowing the others could see, he, Azazel, demon of toxic death and destruction, being harassed and unable to do anything about it by a midget female deer thing.

With a violent explosion of motion he charged the thing one last time before moving away. He didn't have time for this! Stomping through the trees, tail definitely not tucked, he made his way back to the enormous old oak and his portal away.

(Lord! If I missed something or interpreted wrong, please let me know. xD )

[09.18.22]

He's back. He's missed the forest. Missed all of the lovely little treats it contains.
Had walked through, letting the scent of rut and heat fill him, bulk near shivering in the sultry warmth when she caught his eye. Body like sunlight on waves he could barely contain the need to touch... Water has always been his truest enemy. If one could own it... He moves in close, breathing her in, sweet as the sea, almost ghosting the mercury slicked bone of his jaws over her delicate form.

But she is no fool. A thrum of true pleasure burns through him as she moves away, clearly feeling the toxic sear of his touch. The red glow of his eyes brightens. He can taste it. She's going to run.

He presses close, pushing boundaries, letting slick, silver ooze drag over her sleek colors, teeth almost pushing into flesh and she starts moving with intent. Towards the pond.

His fury is instant and he throws himself at her with sharp jaws and striking hooves. She's fast, she runs and he gives chase, snapping at her fleeing form. He's no match for her speed, however and falls quickly behind. This only infuriates him more, bloodlust thundering in his veins as he rends the earth to catch her. She's clever though, oh so clever as she throws herself into the shining waters and he's forced to brace, nearly sliding in to the water after her. His heart pounds violently as his one true fear stares him in the face and his eyes catch movement.

This one is small, quick. A flash of earthy red and his fury turns. This one does not hide in water. This one runs. He's turning his thick bulk to follow but she is so very fast, her turns thrice to his one and he is loosing ground. He can taste her on the wind and continues his near blind charge until another meets him with his own violence.

A buck, large and full of rage, slams into him, nearly throwing him to the ground in the surprise of it all. But he rights himself, turning his anger to this new, more worthy, target. Hooves tear at the earth in a violent display, head tossing, black ooze slinging from his jaws. He was met with fury and his blood roared with joy! A challenger, worthy of him? It remained to be seen.

They clashed, brutal slamming of bodies and antlers cracking through the trees. The other held again the advantage of agility, but he brought himself too close time and again, taunting Azazel into charging with brutal intent, wearing the beast down, taking blows and giving twice in return.

The toxic behemoth was tiring. A strange thing to him, only happening within the confines of this forest. He tucked and ran, putting the pond between him and the other, though watching him closely, stalking back and forth in irritation. This would not do. He would not be bested by some common stag.

He was rapidly firing himself up for another round with this tempting new distraction when icy water sprayed his side, startling him into a violent leap to the side. Spinning he tried to find the source of water now dampening his thick, slimy coat.

She was bright and bold, hiding in her wet lair. Where she was 'safe'. "Coward!" his voice snarled, fury evident. "Filthy fish! Step from those waters, prove yourself!" She was clearly not impressed, spraying him again. He charged and snorted, stomping at muddy earth, but never close enough to wet his hooves. He screamed at her face, mercury spraying in silver glimmers. A fruitless tantrum.

Hooves were thudding up behind him, he whirled to face them, nearly being rammed into the very water he despised by that damned stag! Only fortune and the ripping sharpness of his own hooves saved him, but not without a leg touching water. Horror crawled his spine and sent him charging away and back again as the stag took chase. The fear was replaced with exhilaration. This male was...

Blood roared hot as they ripped at each other again and again. Muscles ached and flesh tore. There was a burning stir in his belly. He liked this fool. He would feel his bones break beneath his hooves and feast...

His mind came back to him. He was again moving too close to the waters, the constant attacks from the stag, the shocking cold of water slamming into him and he was worn. Tired and more than ready to end this.

It was with heavy limbs he moved away, oily slick spilling from him in rivulets until the stag no longer gave chase. He turned his gaze to the waters and the little witch they contained. "Water cow...!" The threat was listless. He glared angrily at her, but moved away. He would lick his wounds and wait. Surely she could not stay there forever.
(Sincerely hope I got everything! xD )
