I wanted to practice drawing a face in profile, and this image appeared in my imagination. Well, not exactly this image--it's always interesting how a drawing doesn't quite turn out the way you first imagined it. Each one surprises me.

But I really enjoyed working on this. I hope you don't mind that I share it, Serenai, as Atvana is your character. Smiling ♥

I've been drawing for years, not drawing tons and tons, but slowly and gradually...so I slowly get better. But I still have a lot to work on, definitely.

I just love how you shaped

I just love how you shaped the face. Any graphics on the horns in this drawing, because I'm not exactly sure. I did like your choice of color though, as interesting as it might be, but the shades and other concepts are wonderful, great job.

Aw, rihame--Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed this drawing! There are no graphics on the antlers, it was all done with colored pencil and ink outlining.

Sure, I could try drawing your deer. ^^ The DotD pelt, Zombie antlers and skull mask take a little bit of time to draw, but luckily they are also fun to work on. I'll see what I can do! Smiling

This was so sweet of you. Not only the drawing, but being thought of in the first place, it makes me feel nice. ♥

I adore the vines, flowers, antlers, and the markings. (Oh gosh those markings. @u@)

And that chest fluff is adorable~!

I've never pictured its pictogram as vines before... I rather like it. ♥

I'm glad you like it. I'm quite happy with the way the markings came out.

And there is usually a great deal of fur-fluff involved involved when I draw, apparently. Laughing out loud

I had fun drawing Atvana, and it somehow was a comforting image for me to work on.

I am as well. They are fluid, and strikingly beautiful, like a river painted red on its side.

Myself as well. I have an affinity for the stuff.

It's funny, you're not the first to tell me that...
Perhaps something of its nature is called upon when drawing.
A summoning, of sorts.

That is interesting...though

That is interesting...though I feel like whenever I draw, I try to connect with the subject and feel something about its nature--whether it is calm, or happy, or proud...

But I am most happy with the face. A serene but profound expression and slightly parted lips--as though it is just about to speak--is exactly how I would imagine Atvana, in its deer form. c:
