Yar, not sure how I feel about this. Used Atty as a vessel to play around with the idea of contortion-a possiblity for one of my non-TEF characters.
Anyhoo this is Atty kind of 'hovering' on a lotus throne.
I think I shall forever despise my tablet lines
Awh.
I like the face and antlers. ^^
Danke
... -Glee.- ;~; Thank you
-Glee.-
;~; Thank you so very much. <33
I adore it (of course). It's... Not something I would have ever thought of. And for that, I am ever more thankful.
I will go over why I love this step by step.
Firstly the shape and simplicity of the lotus is divine. I love the highlights of the petals, the color you chose. And just the shape of the flower itself is beautiful. Also, I love the slight transparency.
Secondly, of course this would be mentioned, that posture is incredible. To give such awkward-feeling bends such grace takes true talent. And also still, how I can actually see the flow of it, even in the confusion of the bends. The differentiation is astounding.
The highlights on its body, too, please me. The tones greatly lend to its form and grace.
I've had a thing for the way you draw ears for a long time, and this is no disappointment. It's so detailed, and absolutely adorable.
And the antlers. So small, minuscule to the rest of it. I love that, and perhaps I'm making symbolism out of it on my own, but either way, they are quite gorgeous.
And finally, the thing that I am almost always first drawn to. The face. Oh, how I love that face. The features and structure of it are beautiful and handsome (appropriate, if I may say). The nose is... So cute, and the mouth too. That smile... That smile is perfect, and with its eyes closed... I've seen this expression many times in my mind, but had not had the opportunity to bring it out. It seems I did not have to. Such... Peace, bliss even, which is perfect. Especially in that state of body, to look so... Uncomfortable, and then to see that face, that smile, those closed eyes.
The coloration of the design near the eyes, with the pattern coming under and just a hint of the underlying color separating it from the eye lashes. And the arches above the eyes where eyebrows would be... The shapes of it are beautiful. And I really love how some of the lines are not in black (like those I've just mentioned). Actually, a good portion are not, though I especially love your use of them on its face.
This is beautiful.
Thank you so much. <3
Gah, you know how to make a
But it gave me an outlet to experiment. I was originally worried about the pose, in that he might look like a ball of flesh and limbs but I'm glad it comes across well.
I've been meaning to draw him up for you for ages though, excuse my laziness, you deserve it and more.<33
I figured, one fairly recent
Zen. That was... A bit of the goal, though I'm glad the bliss seems to take effect. <3 And pft, cliché. sometimes we must not worry about sounding cliché. As it is, clichés occur for a reason. Because there is a pattern somewhere, and elements recur. A cliché, though not unoriginal.
I'm also glad you seem to have enjoyed yourself. Recieveing art... Oh my, it is one of the best things. But to know someone enjoyed doing it, that may be even better.
It does have sort of a sphere shape to it... But I personally like that. -Random quote time.- "Why is a soap bubble round? Because it is the most energy efficient configuration." (From the movie K-PAX.) There is something beautifully simple about the circle, and the sphere. A truth somewhere along that endless curve. Oh, I do love it.
Oh, you are too sweet... Now that I am out of school, I actually intend to bomb people with fanart.
Consider that a warning.
A possibly very, very, very, very early warning.
But a warning nonetheless.
Ah well, I try to implement
I must confess that spotting, dots, spheres and anything circular is probably one of my favored forms. I'm oddly compelled to put them on my characters. {example Dhuddy and Daruma}
Ah ha I wouldn't say sweet but I digress, that sounds akin to a friendly threat
*seeks shelter* I am prepared for you to bring the thunder!
I'm in love with how composed
Thank you =)
And it comes out beautifully.
It is, and other things. It's hard to understand. I created it, and yet I didn't. I'm more of an interpreter. xD
Yesss. I want a pictogram that is a circle or a dot. I have one single account here, but if I had the opporitunity for that I would take it in a heartbeat.
Fff. Sweet to me. Maybe others just have bad taste. > >
Friendly threat time indeed. (And pardon my lack of eloquence at five am. xD)
Thunder will be brought.
Sometime. > >
Oh my! This is beyond
Lovely lovely lovely <3 <3 <3
Oh pshaw. I try to do more
*crypticboogilyjazzhands* I like a sense of mystery to characters probably why certain things about Daru will never be revealed, that or I just don't know how to clearly define him myself.
I'm tart like lemons, I'll sour your milk~
Not the thundah!
@Rakkaus- Thank you, Thank You<3
Hi Raface! I have that
I have that happen rather often. > > I think it's better to get a bunch of little things done than spend forever on one thing and end up just saying "fuck it" and moving on. More productive and satisfying and time efficient. ;D
Yeah. One can tell I like to leave things pretty open to interpretation since I chose a "character" that is... Completely so. > > I like mystery. Though mainly because it gives me something to figure out. I get frustrated if I can't solve a problem. xD Though I don't throw chairs or anything, which is good.
I don't like milk, really, so feel free to sour it at any time. |D And I love eating lemons. I eat the lemon slices that come on the side of drinks. Peel the fruit right off the rind. |D
I'll keep doing this no matter what you throw at me. xD
YES, THE THUNDAH.
I few curses and dirty looks
Yeah, certain things about Daru I'm not sure about and I want to leave him with room to grow and perhaps evolve into something else.
And for shame on your milk loathing, Binta grew with the aid of milk~ *has a family of 5ft avg peeps* I eat the whole thing, the peel is zesty~
*breaks out gloves* I challenge you then, good sir
*BRINGS THE LIGHTENING*
I prefer traditional to
Nothing wrong with that. That's way more realistic and fun than having everything all planned out. Plus, this way, since he's more like a living being, he's interesting forever. |D I highly respect your form of... Whatever it is. <3
I was born... Genetically lucky. > > And I would like milk, except every time I smell it, it smells terribly rancid. It's very odd. I have to be told it's fine. > >'
I would eat the peel, but something about it is too bitter for me. < < Maybe I'm still too young. Little kids don't like the flavor of most things because not enough of their tastebuds have died off yet. |D Later in life, they like more because less tastebuds actually makes many things taste much better. > > [/random fact you likely already knew]
-Struggles, eventually tearing a pocket in effort to take out mittens.- I accept. >D
-BRINGS THA... Dark clouds of ominousness.-
THUNDAH wasn't ready yet. > > It said it needed five more minutes.
*nodnod* Traditional comes
Traditional comes with drawbacks but I love it more than digi. You best get postin' woman.
Yeah, it's hard to buy a character that's overplannned. I don't know what my 'whatever-it-is' either. lol
Only me my brother, and one uncle level about about 6ft or more. My mom is bitter and I brag about it. {I'm just under it}
Tastebuds say broccoli is a no-go, same with cauliflower, brussel sprouts, green beans and cooked cabbage.
Wow that was intimidating >u>
*shoots cloud* KUKUKU
Apologies for forever wait. >
I'm almost done with something, actually. Well, almost as in a week or so. ... ;D And drew a hooman who started as Atty and turned into some random person when I was dissatisfied and may be the main character of my novel if I get him right. xD
True. I'm noticing a lot of simplistic biographies now, also have characters I like better. Neath, as a random example. Also that art is delicious and the music fantastic, but you know. xD Whatever the whatever-it-is is, it's great. c:
Ah, I brag about my height too. About five ten. xD
I will kill brussel sprouts and cooked cabbage.
Kill I tell you.
IT WAS SCARY. > >
BWABWABWABWA KTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHUCKTEESH~ BWOAUM!
-Small boy on cloud yells a very quiet kame-hame-haaaaa~! Small firework is seen.-
Bah I have no patience for
I think it's hard trying to elaborate and simplify everything, find a good balance. Too simple seems to make a character almost obscure. Too detailed seems unbelievable and micromanaged down to the last ion.
Best comeback: " Yeah well.. you never grew!'
They're reign of terror has gone on far to long now. FOR FREEEDOM!
Says the Cowardly Lion. >>
SHAZAM *fries little boy*
Oh, how I've missed you and
You're not off the hook yet,
Thank you though<3
xD It's just the face. REALLY
Yes. xD I believe that as well. I went for that with Atty. Details, but not all of them. I mean, how could I get all of them? xDD
xDDDD -Lololol- If I ever need a silly comeback, I will use that. I rarely fight back if for some reason I'm in one. Just laugh and smile and be polite. xD
-Noms Cowardly Lion title.-
GOKU NOOO.
Or.
HORRIBLE GOKU IMPERSONATOR NOOO- Oh well.
If it's a close-up like BAM!
I think I'd lose interest in a too long bio. My attention span rivals that of a small child.
I typically fight with Jazz. Or fisticufss.
YES YESSS DIE DIE!
I swear I'll make it up to
Your will is my commanddddddd~
*makes watching gesture*
Got my eye on you >^O
I also reference EVERYTHING.
xD I rarely read stories here because my mind is like "... Wall of text." And I leave. > >
I use the song Mortal Kombat. Enemy starts dancing.
Won't work with evil vegetables though. >|
I have no shame in my refs
Yeah I'm the same. I lose interest when reading stories, if it doesn't grab me within the first few paragraphs or so, I bail.
I like my enemies running in fear as I dance towards them. West Side Story style. HIGHKICKS
A frost will work nicely.
By now, the ratio of
I normally just flee after a sentence or so. > >' Especially if there's more than a couple typos or bad grammar. Ouuutttta there.
I can mesmerize them with my absolutely horrifying belly dancing. ;D It works out.
What about a fog and a gradual frost as the air cools and some dews? > >
-Goes to Six Flags.-
