[In advance sorry that its too long...And for ,my spelling)))]

Rain was afraid to fall asleep. Every time she closed her eyes she had those terrible visions and flashbacks of her past, full of blood, torture and strange laughter... She cursed the day she appeared in this weird place. If this is afterlife, she would much more desire the oblivion... Visions now came even if she stayed clear the ruin... Horrible, savage visions. She saw her death over and over again. Her human form with the candle falling down covered in blood...the cage...screaming...laughter...
...Then, one evening, exhausted and desparate she came to the stream, lay in the bed of red flowers near the Crying Idol and sunk into the darkness of heavy sleep...

...There was nothing around...nothing but the sound of water in the darkness...And a strange glow... Rain made a few steps... And then she heard someone weeping ouy there... "Oh no...another nightmare" - she thought.
-Come...come closer to me, child... - a voice whispered - Come and I will cure you...
-Where are you? Who are you? - Rain came closer but the glow wouldn't let her see any features of the creature that stood near her. She could only say that it was very beautifull and didn't resemble anything she ever saw. It's shape was changing every second, canged sizes, colours...But it was the most beautifull creature Rain ever saw. And she could feel the ancient Power... Something allmighty and very-very-VERY old...
- Come closer...my child. I want you no harm.
-But who are you? - Rain asked again - And wht are you weeping?
The creature sighed.
- I am Eingana. I am the Mother. I am the Spirit. I am crying over the pain...the pain of all my children.
-The mother? The pain? - Rain didn't understand a thing - Are you hurt?
-I am hurt whenever my children are hurt, Rain.
-Yoy know me?
-But of course I know you. Its your pain that hurts the most...
-You are crying because of me?
-I am crying over one of my most faithfull daughters...Don't you remember?
-No. - Rain was close to start weeping herself - I want to remember. But I can't.
-It won't stup hurting if you will. it may even hurt more. But pain sometimes can be the cure.
-What?!
-I'll show you...I'll show you who you were, Rain. I'll show you. what they did.I'll show you our pain...
The glow dissapeared in one big flash and Rain found herself near the familliar stream near the crying Idol.
-Look, - the voice now came from the stone statue - look into the water...
And Rain looked... Images came rushing into her mind...
She was that young girl...and she lived in some village. She was a follower of a dissapearing cult. The cult of Eingana. And there were other believers...people from the chirch. Times of inquisition were alreary at her door... The villagers loved her and she helped them a lot, so for a long time she was safe. Untill the plague... People begged to save them... Even monks from the chirch, desperate came to her searching for the cure. And she helped...She gave away an old recipe... But she was betrayed... The head of the monks finally found the way to slander the cult of Eingana. He said that it was all "that witches fault" and that only the chirch could save the village, But people would have to give their witch up and destroy the Idol. People feared and insane from the black death that killed their families agreed... Rain was tortured and killed - one of the first victims of inquisition, betrayed and dishonored. But no matter how villagers tryed they couldn't destroy the Idol, the stone was so rough, their tools didn't leave a scratch on it...
Rain suddenly realised that she was crying... Her tears fell into the water of the stream and it turned to blood, covering the pictures of the past.
- Now you know - the Idol said - I am sorry I couldn't save you. I warned you that this will not end good, but you never listened. You wanted to save them...
Rain remembered faces of the villagers...Little children who used to call her 'sister', the eldrely...
- I don't regret it...though I don't understand why...why did I forget...and why did all of this chased after me?
- I can't tell you, child. But now you will rest. I will help you. I will protect you.Wash away your grief with my tears...
The water of the stream became clear again and Rain jumped into the stream...
...She woke up. She still had so many questions... Her regained memory showed her so much to think about...But she somehow new, that now, she is under protection of her goddess. Horrible visions of death will now stop. But she still didn't know who was the one who cast them on her... Anyway... now most of her time Rain spends near the Crying Idol hoping to find out more...and feeling that it is the safest place for her...
