"Do You Hear the Chimes..." (Non-TEF)

Graveyard's picture

"Chime...
Chime...
Chime...
It carries on the wind...
The sound of Chimes being Heard.
They fly in silence... hunting...
The Chimes of Many being used to see...
Blinded with Metal...
Sound is their Eyes...
Can you Escape their deadly Chimes?"

Information Under the Cut~

The Chime Dragons of Kedasiel
Non-Playable Species

Height: 15' Foot at the Shoulders, 18 at the Crown of the Head

Colors: Variety of Purples, Greens, Blues and Rarely Blacks.

Features: The Chime Dragons have major features on their bodies, the most noticeable being the massive metallic plates that cover their heads. These can be Bronze, Copper, Silver or even Gold. The plates cover their entire upper head and just the tip of their bottom jaws where a pair of large tusks form up. Horns, if you would call them such, form at the backs of their jaws and curve down forming into their disk like 'chimes' that connect both horns together. A piece hangs between these and they will sway this piece to make their sounds.

Temperment: Extremely shy and docile, these Dragons are rarely seen by human or even any other species that dwell in the Mountains. They are often times too shy to come around and only their little sounds are heard by those that travel through the mountain ranges that they dwell in. These dragons are more social in terms of their own kind, opposed to socializing with anything else that isn't known to them.

Diet: Chime Dragons eat a great deal of hard rocks and minerals that are found in the mountain range that they live in. While this is their main diet it is not unknown for them to travel out and eat fish or shrubbery from the forests that are often times near their mountain homes, they do not make a habit of it however due to their shy lifestyle.

More Concept work for Territory of Azanamas from the group I'm in World of Esnaas.

The first Youtube Video is a Chime from Wind Chimes, it's how I imagine their plates and chimes work for their sense of hearing. The second is The Singing, Ringing Tree. A sculpture designed for the wind to make such an eerie sound when it blows, I feel that this is quite the Epic way of how they 'sing' and sound when crooning, etc. :3
