The Outside
In game: Crying Idol Mask, Antelope Pelt, Antelope antlers, Mini spell. (NOTE: She is only slighter smaller than a normal sized TEF deer. The mini spell represents her youth more than it does her size.)
Out of game: Her body is shaped somewhat like a horses. Most of her fur is a light brown color, with darker brown markings on the bottom half of her legs, the tips of her ears, and her face. Her neck and underbelly are white. She appears to have light purple hair; in actuality, this “hair” is actually fur purposely grown out and dyed a purple color. This may have been a “status symbol” of sorts in her past; however, what the color purple stands for is currently unknown. Her hooves too are a purple color.
Peeking out from beneath her “hair” is a small, golden, unicorn like horn. It isn`t very big as of now, but may grow in the future. Upon her shoulders sprouts two orange “tufts.” Whether this are tufts of fur or the beginnings of wings are unknown; whatever they are, their growth as been halted by the magic of the forest.
Perhaps the most unusual feature of this creature is her long, whip like tail. It is a maroon color, ranging all the way to the tip of her tail, in which the color gives way to a purple, puffy looking structure.

The Past
Her origins most definitely do not lie within the forest. Indeed, Phanite hails from a completely separate realm-a violent one. Her species was sentient, and capable of thinking intelligently. However, they were also quite warlike, on times running on a more of a feral and animalistic instinct rather than rational thought. These creatures lived in tribes up in a far off mountain range, where they often fought each other for dominance and control. Indeed, the tribe who reigned with the sturdiest of tooth and claw over these deadly mountains were the ones likely to prosper amongst the bloodshed that took place within them.
Phanite herself was born to Reik, leader of a particularly esteemed and authoritative tribe-a position that, while giving her an advantage, also put her at great risk. Without a doubt, the greatest danger to the power of the leader and their heirs was the threat of being overthrown by rivals within their own tribe. Preserving her father`s bloodline was the one most crucial thing Phanite had to accomplish in her lifetime- and she was constantly induced into believing and committing herself to this philosophy by her father.
Despite her apparent pledge to her mission, many suspicions were raised with concern to the strange behavior exhibited by Phanite`s mother, Katmara. Mothers and fathers within the tribe were expected to be a constant presence in their young’s life, helping them prepare physically and mentally for the conflict and killing that they would one day have to face. However, Katmara was scarcely around her daughter, seldom giving her advice and often scolding her. Even stranger, Reik and Katmara had been involved in a confusing relationship- they had been mates for only a short time before eventually drifting away from each over. Naturally, Phanite`s birth was quite puzzling.
Many members of the tribe saw the cold relationship between mother and daughter to be quite disturbing. Some even went so far as to claim that it might be a dark omen-a signal that Reik`s “royal” bloodline might be tainted. The tribe leader was both worried and infuriated by these rumors, knowing that it would only be a source of encouragement toward potential rivals vying for power. As a result, he put his daughter through a series of especially challenging physical and mental training bouts in order to convince the tribe that his lineage was not “tainted.” Never more important had the preservation of the bloodline been than now, and young Phanite was constantly pounded with the same viewpoint each and every day.
Time passed, and Phanite eventually grew to be a teen. She saw her share of battles, from small skirmishes to large scale brawls. Her commitment to defending her bloodline and her tribe`s feared reputation became one of the most crucial aspects of her life. Yet that all changed on one otherwise uneventful day.
It was the day after a particularly fierce battle with a rival tribe. Reik had asserted that it would be better to lie in wait just outside their opponent’s territory, and ambush them. Katmara objected, claiming that it would be better to take them by surprise and attack them straightaway. The tribe could only watch as the two “mates” engaged in a bitter argument, nearly getting into an all-out clash. Soon, the enraged Katmara turned to the tribe and unthinkingly revealed her leader`s darkest secret: She was not Phanite`s mother. Her true mother had been the previous leader of the tribe they had just fought.
The fact that Phanite`s mother was now deceased did not stop the tribe shocked reaction to this sudden truth. Taking a mate from another tribe was against every single rule there was. Stunned and made furious by the fact that their leader had been lying to them this entire time, the tribe deduced that the only way to purge themselves of this disgrace was to rid of Reik and his family.
Phanite could only watch in shock as her father-the one that had taught her everything she now lived by-was pinned to the ground, his throat slit open. Her attempts to stop his demise proved futile-when the young creature charged forward in an effort to reach her father, she was pushed back and threatened with death if she dared come closer. Overcome with grief, the young creature was forced to flee her tribe or be subject to same fate as her father.
For days she wandered, nearly drowned by grief and resentment toward the ones she once thought she could trust. In her mind, her anguish and umbrage eventually manifested itself into the need for revenge. Katmara had done this-her pathetic excuse for a mother had betrayed her father, her adopted daughter, and her tribe with her revelation. She had betrayed the little family she had with her treachery-and most importantly, she had taken away from Phanite the most crucial role in her life, Reik. Phanite eventually decided that the only way to avenge the loss of her father and her current status as a rogue was to dispose of Katmara in the same way that she caused Reik to die. In her grief stricken mind, that was truly the just thing to do.
The young creature stalked her false mother on a stormy day, hoping that the rumbling of thunder and startling flares of lightning would mask her presence. It was on a high ledge that she attacked Katmara, taking out her grief and fury on the latter and leaving her mortally wounded. Phanite originally planned to stay and watch as the other bled out, but her plans were interrupted by the arrival of some of the other members of the tribe who had somehow heard the sounds of the struggle. Once again, Phanite was chased down-but this time, she would not escape. She was attacked by the members of her former tribe for her deed, and fatally wounded. It was the end of the way for her.
Yet, as the young thing lay dying, something took pity on her. As she died, her body was healed and purged into a separate realm-one more peaceful than her home. Yet for all the healing this did for her body, it could not repair her damaged soul. Indeed, Phanite was cursed with the memory of her past life. Only she has the power to redeem whatever part of herself is left, and it ends as it began again, as she awoke in the depths of a forest that we all know to be endless.

Personality
~The young creature was raised in a world full of violence; therefore, it is nearly all she knows.
~Intelligent, but with feral characteristics.
~Indeed, was reared with the sole purpose of combat. An experienced fighter for her age, but likely not nearly as adept as the other creatures of the forest.
~Not your friend until you prove yourself to her. Puts a heavy value on virtues and vices. She believes that they shape a being.
~Seems to exhibit vaguely bipolar tendencies at times. Calm one moment, furious the next. Unpredictable.
Combat and Traits
Combat: Phanite is no stranger to violence; in fact, she was raised surrounded by it. This leaves her with some considerable fighting experience. Being young, however, she has a far smaller amount of expertise when she would have had been she entered the forest at a later stage in her life.
If one engages her in combat, they must be careful to avoid these:
Her tail. It is long and flexible, capable of reaching an opponent from a few feet away. The large mass of fur on her tail, though normally quite soft, can act like a club when swung full force. A hard smack from it is likely capable of severely stunning or injuring an opponent. Even if one pins her down, they must be careful to avoid her tail, which can still swing around to hit an opponent from behind.
However, the long and skinny tail of this creature also brings with it a great weakness. If bitten or gored, it can easily turn from a volatile weapon to a cumbersome thing that can be easily dragged down.
Her horn. The golden horn atop her head is capable of goring an opponent. It is quite small, however, meaning that she would have to get pretty close to her opponent in order to inflict damage in this way. An opponent that is skillful at dodging will be at an advantage in this situation; if one makes a mistake and gets too close with too little time, however, the consequences won`t be very good.
Her hooves. The tips of these hooves are somewhat sharp, and capable of spearing an opponent.
Her teeth. She has a rather powerful bite, and contains two fangs concealed within her mouth. These fangs are quite small, however; they are more effective against smaller animals than larger deer.
Along with these, Phanite`s fighting style also presents her with some disadvantages. For example:
The tufts of fur on her shoulders act as burdens. The two orange tufts sitting on her shoulders don`t have much use. In fact, they may only act as obstacles for her in a battle. If one can get ahold of these tufts, she can easily be dragged down to the ground.
Her neck and chest area is unprotected. If one can dodge her horn, they can easily reach her neck and chest and inflict damage there. These are rather tender areas; however, the attacker must make sure to dodge her tail; its long length makes it capable of reaching around to stun the opponent.
Her legs are rather flimsy. The area around her kneecaps is her weakest point-it is skinny and made more for running than for power. If one can bite or gore these areas, it may easily down her-or at least injure her substantially
She simply does not know when to stop. At times, the young creature will enter into a rage and keep attempting to attack her opponent. While this can be quite dangerous, someone who knows how to take advantage of this trait can easily defeat her. Though capable of fighting for a decent amount of time, Phanite will tire out eventually, making her easy to defeat. She was trained to fight in a series short, brutal, “guerilla” battles, not long and drawn out ones.
If Phanite attacks you, she will probably do so in one of two ways. She will most likely charge it you with her head down, aiming to gore you with her horn. She might also rear at you and try to spear you with her hooves. If being attacked from her sides or from behind, she will most likely swing her tail around to smack the opponent before it can reach her. She capable of turning quickly, and is quite agile.
Despite all her quirks, Phanite is not very heavy. While her tail can act as balance of sorts and allow her to rear for a longer amount of time, it can also throw her off balance if its forceful swing does not land a hit on its target. That being said, it is easiest to attack her from below. A large rack of antlers can easily overpower her single horn and throw her off her feet. If one manages to dodge her horn and her long tail and deliver a blow to her legs, neck, or chest, she can easily defeated.
