His hooves trotted along the land quickly yet quietly, and his eyes were alight with the wonders of this unknown forest. He had always been one who loved to explore and see new sights and sounds but as he went further he slowed his pace, then to a stop. *Where in the heck am I?* he thought tilting his head, maybe he had wondered to far away from his home. Maybe this was the place the others said that no one returns from, but by the looks of the place why would anyone go home.

So he did the only thing he was ever really good at and continued his way. Soon he heard water close by, deciding to take a look he stopped seeing two others at the water front. A white one drinking and the other one ranting on about something or another.

"Hmmm....maybe they could help me...." he muttered lowly and worked up his courage and trotted on over to them, their conversation becoming a bit more clearer to his ears.

"Halden, you have to learn to behave yourself, not all deer are truly bad" the white one said as she leaned down taking another drink of water.

"Exactly and some deer are...you're too nice for your own good" the other muttered, he seemed slightly intimidating with his huge horns and his slightly harsh words, but the doe just chuckled and shook her head.

"Halden honestly-", she froze mid-sentenced and looked over seeing the odd deer standing there leaning in slightly to their conversation and blinked at him, "Yes? May we help you?" she asked.

The other deer noticed as well and quickly got up bearing his horns at the unknown deer and frowned, "Stay back Kita, he could be dangerous" he growled.

Blinked the deer looked at them and shook his head chuckling, "Whoa, I mean no harm...I wondered here from the east, not exactly to sure where here is" he stated and slowly walked over to the two keeping his distance slightly, the one seemed angry.

"Well...you're in the endless forest" she replied not seeming to mind the new deer and walked to the shore standing beside Halden, "Halden relax besides he seems harmless enough". She trotted over and leaned in slightly sniffing the air around him before nodding it was okay.

Halden looked at her and stayed where he was, "pfft still..." he muttered before slowly walking over.

"I do apologize, my name is Azur" he said and bowed to the two, "but umm....what is the endless forest?" he asked tliting his head.

Kita bowed before chuckling slightly and jumped around Azur, "a wonderful place, full of magic and wonders" she explained, then looked at Halden. "Bow to welcome the newcomer" she said and smiled.

Halden frowned again before growling, "NO!", then looked away. He could feel her eyes on him and then sighed and did a cruddy looking bow, "Hi. Welcome the forest. Get lost".

Azur stood there looked at the stag before falling back in laughter.

"Kita...he's laughing at me" he growled and lowered his head in anger, growling a bit more. He already wasn't having a good day, and this 'Azur' didn't help the matter by laughing.

She shook her head and chuckled, "ignore him, today hasn't going very well. I'm Kita and that is Halden" she said, "We were about to go for a walk, would you care to join us?" she asked.

He thought about it before nodding, "I would like that since it seems I'm not going to leaving anytime soon" he chuckled and walked over to the two, then bowed to Halden. "Hopefully tomorrow is more your day then" he joked.

"Stop making jokes! he frowned, then turned seeing Kita starting to run off calling out to them to follow.

Azur chuckled again as he watched Halden run quickly to catch up with her and hurried along after the two listening to Kita as she explained how everything worked in the woods, the magic, and the different sites to see as well in the Endless Forest.

*A week later*

Azur woke up and grinned as shot up and hurried towards the twin god statue. He had mostly decided to hang around with Kita and Halden, even though he knew Halden didn't like him that but they tolerated each other for Kita's sake and pretended to get along.
Stopping he skidded slightly bumping into the back of Halden and chuckled lowly as did Kita. "Sorry about that Halden" he said then shook himself off and bowed to them.

Halden frowned, "Ha, ha very amusing now shut it" he said to him before laying down and muttering words under his breath like he normally did.

"Calm down Halden" she said and bowed back grinning, "now that we're all here, who's ready for a good morning run to the ruins?"

Azur started dancing in place, "OH! OH! I am!!" he shouted happily, dancing even more and chuckling.

Halden looked over at him, "Azur".

"Yes Halden?"

"You're making my head hurt...stop" he growled slowly getting up and shaking off, seeing Azur still dancing from the corner of his eye. "STOP!"

Kita rolled her eyes at the two and then stretched out before trotting down the hill, "Come on you two" she called out and quickly broke into a run, Halden turning and following her along just as quickly so she wasn't alone.

Azur watched them in his view and smiled to himself, *Think I may decide to stay* he thought then reared and took off after the two catching up to them as they ran along the stream then took off to the woods to go and meet more friends.
