Stuff that could be counted as gore here Smiling

She looks at herself, standing in the shallow water, ripples radiating from her legs.
She stares into the water, anguish and sorrow the only thing on her mind.

"Why allow me to survive?"
She whispers quietly to herself.

She sees his face, his perfect, beautiful face. He's smiling at her, laughing at one of her dry, witty comments. His eyes gleam, full of love and joy.

Then it changes. The blood, oh, the blood. Thick, crimson liquid, dripping from the rocks. His neck broken, his head looking at her at a grotesque angle. Then those eyes, his amazing, endless eyes, dulled and milky. Staring at her. Why couldn't she save him?

A drop of clear, salty liquid hits the water.

With an angered grunt she pulls up her front hooves and slams them into her reflection before turning and splashing back through the water. It stills quickly leaving no trace of her.

She runs until she can run no longer. With another angered cry she falls to the fall, tears running freely from her eyes. She cries until the night falls, when the darkness closes her eyes and she is finally unconsious.

Though her nightmares plague her. No, they are memories rather than dreams. That day replayed over and over again every single night.

The course fur, the sharp teeth and claws, the way they snarl and roar.
They growl at each other, fighting over his meat. It makes her retch.

The wet tearing noise as flesh is ripped and the sickening cracks as they pull apart his body.

Then the last word he ever breaths. Him - her one, her only.
